  1. My suggestion for you. Make a start by doing something along the lines of reskinning the LA Mod and go from there. No one is going to get involved unless you show that you've actually started something. There are plenty of tutorials if you click on the tutorials tab at the top of the page. Also, double/triple posting is against the forum rules. Use the EDIT button in future if you want to add something to your post. I'll merge them this time, next time it'll cost you a warning point.
  2. If necessary, take the time to check yourself. Model theft is a big no, you need to obtain the relevant permission AND credit the original authors. You and your team should have a read of this. It appears this instance doesn't need any investigating, but you need to be making sure that you're allowed to use the remainder of the stuff in the mod. You claim the model in question has been deleted, if that is indeed the case, I think we can leave it at that. Ghost has summed it up with his post, and has been understanding, which he didn't have to be. We don't want to see any more stolen models, whether that is in screenshots or the actual mod, so if there is any more issues, you'll face punishments. It's simple really, if you don't have permission then don't use it. If you don't get a reply, take that as a no. I would suggest that when you post a screenshot of a unit, you put the relevant credits underneath. That way we know the original author(s) and we can check that you do have the correct permissions, if necessary. While I'm here, do you actually have permission to use content from the London Mod? As far as I was aware, they hadn't given permission to anyone for their stuff to be used.
  3. There is no law stating they have to use greens as well, using greens is purely to let other road users know there is a doctor on board, other than that they serve no purpose. For example, if a vehicle were to just have greens, that vehicle wouldn't be able to claim exemptions (speeding, crossing red lights etc.). As I said, I may be wrong but it was my understanding that the vehicles had gone to blue/white. Someone else may know different? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

  5. I was referring to the new red vehicles, do they still have the greens then? I was under the impression the bars were just blue/white on the new cars.

  7. Looks great! By the way, when you come to light it, I believe they've cut out the green lights from the lightbar so it's just blue and white now. Although I may be wrong.

  10. Take a look at this post. This is usually because your computer is much quicker than required to run the game. It can be fixed by increasing the timing on ALL the traffic lights on the map. Read the post I mentioned above for more info.
  11. IF the files are .mesh, I believe ZModeler can import/export them, and that would allow file conversions. Although, the mesh files mentioned may be a completely different format... and may not actually be .mesh files.

  13. The station in my small town (pop. of less than 10,000) is retained and has 2 Pumps, and the station in the next town a few miles down down the road is exactly the same. The bigger town about 10 miles away has a bigger station with 2 Pumps and 2 Prime Movers, and as far as I know is also retained. So yeah, small stations is usually the normal over here. Although, I think our retained system over here is a bit different to VFDs everywhere else.
  14. It also looks like the mod you have downloaded is LA Mod v2.5, which is the EM3 version. EM3 mods don't work on EM4/911 First Responders. V2.1 is the latest version of the LA Mod for EM4 or 911FR, and it can be downloaded here.
  15. Open the editor, and load whatever mod you want to edit. Select the vehicle you want to change -> click Edit -> then click on Edit Traits and increase the "Resistance Shot" value. Increasing the value will make the vehicle more resistant to gunfire.

  20. Firstly, there's no need to increase the font size for your post. I have edited it and changed it to a normal size. Now for your issue, it would be helpful if you could post your logfile, as this might highlight the issue. Does this happen with every unit, or just certain ones? By the sound of it, you've edited portraits or lang files and something is wrong with one of them.

  22. I see you're actually on here, so welcome! It's good to hear that the ideas that this community has are actually going to be listened to.
  23. Have you checked the ingame settings? Open the game, click the "Options" button in the top right, and then go to the sound tab. Check that the volume isn't all the way down.
  24. Sniped222 and MintCake69 haven't been on here for a couple of years now. Seeing as there haven't been any updates to the mod for a few years either, I'm going to close the topic. If anyone gets permission, and plans to carry on the mod, (or if Sniped/MintCake return) PM one of the staff and we'll open it again.
