I just translated the message you posted on google and it translates to 'The update will be annulee' which to me still doesnt help. Just to make sure your trying to patch Emergency 4 with the 1.3 patch? Without calling you silly I just wanted to make sure you were not trying to install the patch on EM3. Also are you using Emergency 4 German or French? Maybe you are trying to use the wrong version of the patch? Anyone else able to shed some light on this?

have you placed a police officer in front of it and tried redirecting again? ive had to do that before as the vehicles have just randomly stopped.

Hey Shaun, Firstly welcome to the forums I hope we'll see more of you in future. I really like most of your ideas and the paramedic thing is the same over here you have two paramedics and they stabalise the patient and then cart them off to the hospital. It would be great to see any of those suggestions added to the mod but I also understand that some may not be possible. Russ

Hey Folks, I just wondered if there was a way of removing the timer on missions as I'm finding it hard to complete certain missions in the time it takes to get the situation under control. I've edited the campaign file so that I can play the other missions but I'm just not quick enough on some of them. Any advice? Thanks in advance Russ

I just assumed they were the most updated ones that I had installed but checked the NVIDIA site and they had released some new drivers at the beginning of this month so that was good I'll be sure to check first in future

Hi Folks, Since installing the game a few days ago I've had it randomly crash on me. I've installed the patches for the game but the graphics go a bit crazy (see screenshot below) and then it says something about having to terminate and it closes. I use a NVIDIA GeFORCE FX 5200 graphics card and whilst the game lets me have a quick go on the mission it does randomly die on me. Does anyone else have the same problem or does anyone know of a way to fix this? I'm sure my graphics card is able to handle the game but am I bit confused with why it keeps crashing. I've not had a chance to have a proper game yet due to the problems. I might uninstall and reinstall my graphics drivers again but thought I'd see if anyone else has had the same problem. Cheers Russ EDIT: I've just been on the NVIDIA website and found some updated drivers. I've just successfully had a go on a few missions until it crashed...the crash was caused by a zonealarm popup though so I think my problem is now solved...fingers crossed

Hey Folks, Is there a way to skip the tutorial? I finally got my copy of the game today from amazon.de and it took forever to install and I've had a quick go on freeplay but for some reason it wont let me do campaign until I do the training stuff....my question is: Can I bypass this in any way as the game crashs on me when I move onto the third task! Any help is appreicated. Russ PS: Is there any translation from de to en available? I'm struggling a little to understand. I've done a search but come up with dead links or old posts from people who claim to be working on one even though the thread hasnt been posted in for months

If what Stan said doesnt work try going into the Control Panel to see if any Emergency 3 is installed. If something is listed uninstall it. If there is nothing there then go to your harddrive (usually My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > sixteen tons entertainment > Emergency 3 If there is an Emergency 3 folder I'd recommend deleting it and it's contents. Ideally you should try and remove it via the Control Panel but if it's not listed then it's not installed properly so you should remove it manually. I would then restart the machine and try to install again. I've not had this problem before so I'm just thinking of possible ways.

Did you download Emergency 3 from the internet somewhere? If you are installing the patch it might ask for Disk 1 which is what I think is happening. Simply input the disk and see if it will proceed. If you downloaded it then I'm sorry I can't help as it might mean downloading it again and that'll just confuse me

Hey FD-19, As Stan said make sure you have the patches installed and Unzip the files (I usually unzip to the desktop and delete them once I've installed). Once you've unzipped them there should be a file called 'Los Angeles Mod v2.3.e3mod'. Next we need to load that file into the ModInstaller.exe program. This can be found in your Emergency 3 folder (C:/Program Files/Sixteen Tons Entertainment/Emergency 3). Once you've opened the ModInstaller you should see the following screen. To start installing the Mod click on 'Install Package' and then locate 'Los Angeles Mod v2.3.e3mod' which if you followed the instructions above about unzipping should be on the desktop. Click on 'Los Angeles Mod v2.3.e3mod' and then 'Open' and a small window will appear telling you it's being installed. When it's installed it will show it in the list on the ModInstaller. The Mod is now installed but in order to play it you will need to load it in the game now. Click on 'Modifications' You will then see the Los Angeles Mod that you have installed with the ModInstaller. Click on the Mod and select 'Load'. Once you have done this it will take you back to the main menu. Now when you click on Freeplay you have a new base (I don't play freeplay so don't know much about it). If you click on Campaign you will see many new maps (Thanks Hoppah ) and also new vehicles, sirens etc. Happy Gaming!! :1046275747_biggthumpup: (Sorry for the amount of screenshots but I find it easier explaining something using them and also this is how I installed the Mod and it works fine for me but others might have easier ways of doing it.)

I've seen a couple of posts asking where to get E4 from or when it's going to be out but haven't come across anything that I've found helpful. I have two questions really. If anyone has any answers please let me know by reply to me here. 1) I have come across the game on Amazon.de (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000ECWYQ2/303-1070947-8914664?v=glance&n=301052). My question is if I order this came from the site will they ship to me do you think? I am in the United Kingdom but desperately want this game. 2) Also if I buy this version is there a fully functional english patch that will make the game into english? Thanks for any help you might be able to give. I've seen certain english patches listed but not sure if they convert the game files to english or just replace the foriegn crews into english services. I am able to navigate around on amazon.de in order to buy the game so that isn't a problem but need to know if there is an english patches that can help. Russ
