Any chance of a bulldozer or something? Even if you just gave it the 'cut' command that would be very cool.
-
One more thing... I just re-read the first post. Is there going to be a hospital on map?
-
This looks very cool and I really like the map. One thing though, is the cul de sac, it just doesn't seem right. Maybe a visitor's center or something with parking lot?

Mods With Rotorays On the Vehicles?
LAD23DER replied to ThinBlueLineKY4's topic in Modding Related Support
From what I have seen, the modeled rotorays don't actually spin, only the lights make it look like they are spinning. -
The Santa Catarina mod posted a drafting script concept, but I'll doubt it will be released prior to the release of the mod.

Good Luck on finals bro

I had seen somewhere that federal vehicles are the only emergency vehicles allowed with front facing blue lights in NYC.

Looks great, Itchboy. You make great points, thank you for all of your hard work! -
Awesome. Thanks a lot!

You need to export the file from Zmodeler as a .v3o. There is a UV mapping tutorial in the tutorials section of this website.

Do you mean where to start a topic for your mod? http://forum.emergency-planet.com/forum/123-mod-development-and-concepts

Thank You! One more thing if you don't mind; Is there any technique you have for making the curved sections of roads? Thanks
-
Thanks Itchboy. I think I did change the textures, I attached the textures below. In Editor Body Headlight texture Thank You!

Hey Guys, This seems like it is probably a very basic question, but i can't get it to work. I am trying to change the headlight skins of Itchboy's Tahoe to the 2015 headlights for a personal mod. I have changed the side, front, and headlight files to the new headlight skin, but for some reason both the new and the old headlight skins keeps showing up on the front. Do I have to do something with UV mapping? Thanks!

Modding Tutorials - YouTube Video series by Chris07
LAD23DER replied to Chris07's topic in General Talk
I agree with Dyson. -
I do have to say, they have grown on me since I first saw them, I like them now. My FD and PD have already gotten them and I am starting to see them used a lot elsewhere as well.

Hello, I have edited bama's engine, and I accidentally deleted a part of the model, as shown in the picture. As I am just starting to model, I can't figure out how to add this part back. Any help on adding this back would be appreciated, I have read the modeling tutorial, but still can't figure it out. Thank You!

NJ/ Monmouth County Modification
LAD23DER replied to Cadillac9998's topic in Mod Development and Concepts
As for the light bars, you need to add them as children of the car in editor. Check out other mods to see how they do it. The lighting will have to be done by you. The NYPD pushbar might be able to pass as this, even though the NYPD one is smaller. -
Try updating your graphics drivers.

Also, when creating a texture, is there a certain way to know where buildings will be or is it just guess and check? In other words, when I am creating a texture, how do I know, while in Ps where to put parking spaces around a fire station, for example? Thank You!

Awesome, Thanks guys!
