  1. I believe it's as easy as copying the script from the Battalion Chief over to the fire officer. Then, you may want to change what kind of car it calls out. If no one replies with a better explanation I'll have a look on how to do it for you
  2. Sorry if this has been asked, but what kind of police callouts can we expect?
  3. The callout menu is the menu on the left, that you use to call out units. A .e34p file is the 'prototype' for a model of a vehicle, and is required to add units to the game
  4. Do you have the mod? I have it, although idk how the permissions for reuploading work here.
  5. Love this one Quite sharp too
  6. Yeah, when I was younger I thought BTP were traffic police. One question, will the next release feature return to base commands? When I first played this I was like "its barely playable without it", but I manage quite fine now with the fire engines. Just wondering?
  7. Armed patrols by the BTP are occasional, and seen mainly at the bigger stations. As said above, BTP give more PPE to PCSOs; and I'm seeing more and more PCSOs and less and less warranted officers at the smaller stations. Airport policing is done by the territorial force, BTP is railways only, I think. It's surprising really, threat level is at severe at the moment and the most that the stations are doing are removing bins from the damn stations...
  8. I don't know if you didn't see it properly (or I'm being stupid), he's upgrading from Intel, not to
  9. Yeah, they're the TFL/BTP engines. They're not actually run by BTP for their use as such; TFL use them to respond to situations such as rail obstructions and specialist emergencies in the underground, which require an urgent response, so the BTP drive them. This is opposed to fire engines, which are not specialised for the underground and would take up valuable LFB time
  10. Oh god... Although, if RPing isn't your thing, then it's understandable what he did. Some people can't be bothered with setting up
  11. Yeah, that CPU is an APU, which means it has a dedicated graphics chip inside the CPU. While they're not amazing, they're much much better than Intel HD, as Intel HD graphics are mainly just for light work and running the PC when your GPU is broken. That'll run it. You may experience lag when having multiple rigs with lights running (Even I experience this on a GTX 570), but if you only have one truck (with lights on) on the screen at one time, or multiple lightless trucks, you should be okay.
  12. You'd think it'd be more 6 hours battling a fire and all you get is £90 lol
  13. Yeah I knew they were volunteers, I'm guessing that alarm is their pager of sorts?
  14. What does retained mean? Retained firefighters to be called out?
  15. This'll be really fun to play, having to stretch resources is good fun tbh
  16. Same, if you can't fit a car in a certain area it takes them about 5 minutes more than it should to reach someone.
  17. ^^. Although, the easiest place to start is opening the textures of models and editing some stuff. Just gain experience before you even attempt a mod
  18. It's also hard to resist my weird OCD urges to press our panic button... but hey XD
  19. I love the push-to-talk two tone beep on the radios, don't know why but have some sort of addiction to pressing it. Cool radio sounds. What's an ALP? O_o
  20. My local policing team consists of (this is the usual amount on duty not the entire amount) 10 officers. We have a carrier, I think two vans and a variety of cars. I think ARVs are minimal, we may not even have any, but that is unlikely. We borrow a lot of stuff from Greater Manchester Police and West Mids, such as forensic diving crews. As for fire service, we have two stations. One has two engines in use (parked in the engine bay), a diving team, community responder/RRV and I think a general purpose van.
  21. A 780 is a lot for Skyrim, even ENB ultra. However, it's not to the point where you shouldn't buy it; the 780 is extremely versatile as it has the newer gen features such as Shadowplay, better PhysX, nicer CUDA cores etc. That, and it's a high end card that could probably max out GTA V 2 times over, leaving it useful for a while, compared to AMD, whose cards tend to die off quite fast. A GTX 570 (my card) easily beats a 7850 performance wise for half the price. Generally speaking, the i5 series is a good place to start. 3770k, and the 4960k (which is extremely good value, it's a high end CPU at an enthusiast price). I sense you're not really on a tight budget here so the 4960k is the better choice. Motherboard isn't too important, some good brands are ASRock, MSI, Gigabyte, etc. HyperX is a good brand of RAM; if you can, get some 1600/1800mhz stuff, and about 8GBs of it. Any more is unneeded for gaming, but may help if you're into video work. Some extras include a GOOD (no cheap shit) PSU, try and get a 'Modular' one, with a single 12v rail. It needs to be at least 700w for a rig like that, I would say. Seasonic and Corsair make good PSUs, Corsair being a better budget option however these aren't as reliable. Have you got experience with PCs?
  22. Only upgrade to 10 if you're on 8. Otherwise, you're basically 8ifying your Windows 7 desktop.
