State Park Rangers generally have less wide-ranging duties compared to NPS rangers. In most states they still have all the powers of law enforcement elsewhere but are less likely than NPS rangers to do EMS or firefighting and rescue.
-
BTW National Park Rangers handle all law enforcement in National Parks so anything that the police would handle outside the park they handle inside the park (full authority, etc). For park-specific issues you have things like illegal camping, poaching, illegal timber harvesting (some fun possibilities with that one), human-animal encounters, violations of park-specific rules like quiet hours, illegal removal of historic artifacts and other stuff like that.

Just downloaded and played this mod and I'm impressed! One suggestion I have is maybe in the future add back in a "call ambulance" command for cops or chiefs, I know the mod is meant for multiplayer but it would be a nice boost to us singleplayers.

I had no clue that site existed thank you!

Anyone?

Gotten back into playing the Mayberry Mod, its great. Is there any plan for an update in the future? 1.2 is the newest version I have...

I'm bias of course but I still think a mod set somewhere like Yellowstone or Yosemite would be a a nice change.

Right now you're in class so focus on class, worry about the other stuff after you've passed the NREMT and gotten on somewhere. Some people will say that there is a major difference between what is taught in "the book" and what you need to know "in the streets", these people are mistaken. The book does operate under ideal circumstances but don't be that guy who blows off the classroom instruction and dumb stuff because you'll never need it or you'll do it diffirently. For now focus on getting through the class, there are lots of things about being an EMT that you can't learn in class but while you've got the time focus on the book learning. If you learn enough about what connects to what and does what you can better diagnose what's going on with a patient in the future. I also recommend EMTprep.com, especially their youtube videos on the NREMT practical skills, those really helped me. And always remember "BSI, scene safety"

At the moment the download link has been taken down. You might be able to find an old copy floating around the internet somewhere if you looked hard enough.

Jordansville Mod [Private, WIP]
Fred03 replied to Aether's topic in Modification Sub-Mods WIP (In Development)
Looks promising, make sure you have all your permissions in order if you plan on releasing. -
Less vehicles tends to be better and more realistic in my mind.

The second ones just look brighter to me, the only difference is the engine and the bottom one looks too manipulated to me, too artsy.

I don't think he's doing much more unit/map changes at the moment, just bug fixes. But since I'm bored I'll toss in a suggestion or two. -Keep the small number of units on-map. -Make the Park Ranger have a unique skin instead of the border patrol skin -A school would be a cool idea -IDK if its even possible but it would be really neat to have different units have different patrol paths (police in the city only, sheriff's department outside the city, park ranger in forest/wild only)

Looks nice.

I'd imagine it could, you'd just have to move things around on the inside.
