  1. Well, I wasn't suggesting new people for those agencies, just the use of models or textures edits of the same style as their uniforms for the McCormick people instead of the firefighter coats and/or helmets.
  2. Looking good! Not sure if the helmet and bunker coat fit for these guys; maybe take a look at retexturing some other models (ATF and FBI models could work) to still keep a little variation.
  3. Actually that would be pretty easy, though I don't know if you plan on using any vehicle calling scripts in this.
  4. "fp_params_endless.xml" under the specs folder. <SquadPriceGrowth value="30.0" /> <BuyFactor value="10.0" /> controls the cost multiplier when buying a new unit.
  5. I think it's the "Squad Price Growth" value in the freeplay settings. It's designed to make it costly to send out a lot of unit, though that seems excessive.
  6. The skin you showed looked great, I'd just like to see it for any of the original LA models (Ambulance01, 02, 04, and/or Large Ambulance) since I like to stay with those.
  7. Could we get NPS ambulances for the LA model ambulances, also?
  8. And here I just finished adding all those last vehicles into my existing submod. Looking very nice!
  9. I could at some point. Have to track down creators on some things and get permission, and I still have other tweaks: dealing with vehicle restrictions in all the missions (have to go through each to make sure I set them right), some scripts I'm stuck on or still working on. Made a whole bunch of little, and some not so little, gameplay changes to some scripts that I should document.
  10. Replicating the way that the ALS/BLS engines work would pretty much be the way to go. Copy the engine VOs on the map, and then copy relevant engine script lines (LAFireStation, LAToFireStation, LABattalionChief).

  13. Only GTF vehicles can have hose connections, and TLFs can only have a cannon. However, there are two ways around this. The LA mod uses a script to add hose connections to its TLF engines by spawning an invisible GTF in the same spot as the engine when you attach a hose to it. The Limited Water Supply mod does the opposite; all your engines will be GTF by default, and have a command that, with an available passenger, it will spawn an invisible TLF vehicle.
  14. Do they still use that old single rotator for lighting? Retro to the max.
  15. Wonderful! I've always got more room in my personal LA mod for more vehicles.
  16. Sounds great! Could you do an AMR or McCormick skin also?
  17. Well, it's nothing personal, I just don't like copyright bullying. It just stretches the limit of common sense that someone could be forced to "destroy" an image when someones IP is a part, but not the whole, of it. Imagine a picture taken in public, or your own house, and how many people (more likely large companies) own the likenesses you'd capture. It's not a matter of what the laws say; it's that those laws are anachronistic, bloated, and heavily favor the rich and powerful. But, even if I were up for a debate, this isn't the time or place. Except for Federal agencies, I believe. Those still have to go into the public domain as a government work, but all other state and local works can be protected. Yes, it seems the response was more in line for a mod that was pretty much packed and ready to go with no time set aside for gathering permissions. It was nice to see some WA State action in a mod, so I hope this doesn't end up falling apart.
  18. If we're talking about IP, I'm assuming you didn't actually get permissions from the various vehicle manufacturers or emergency departments to use their designs.
  19. They're supposed to be random. The only thing you can really do is increase that value, or remove the script entirely.
  20. Go to the "Scripts/Game/Command" folder under the Manhattan Mod directory, open the BMA.script file, and change the number after that term I mentioned.
  21. Is it the false box alarms? That's controlled by the BMA script, under the "FehlalarmDichte" line at the top; the larger the value, to less likely it is to happen.
  22. I don't believe you have the right to tell someone to take images down. Not distribute the models or textures? Sure. Not use them privately? Probably, but impossible to enforce. Not to simply post pictures of them? Highly doubtful. And I think people might want to think for a second. Is telling someone to "pick up their shit" referring to their stuff as garbage? No, it's slang, as it is most likely here. However... jakebrdlyref, even if EMC seemed to come on a bit harsh (might not be native English speaker), a bit of tact and humility would have been, and still is, a good choice.
  23. These are not babies. They are virtual models of vehicles you don't own the rights to anyways. No one is innocent of overreacting here, except maybe goog.
