There was already a 2 page argument about this that got deleted. My point is not to make you work more - it is to focus more on scripting until you get your first version out then release more vehicles at your own pace, in updates. I'm not going to go into it again. Any more of this crying? EXCUSE ME? I'm not the one who's bringing it back up, YOU ARE. The conversation was left at peace already.

I think the GTA V Taurus (vapid interceptor) and the GTA IV Crown Vic (vapid cruiser) need a little adjustment to the rims. The middle part should be light grey/white whilst the rest is dark grey/black. VS A real life example of the rims:

Just wondering... Will this EVER be finished? Last time I posted on this topic (or even checked these forums, for that matter) was 2012. (p139 of this topic) I mean, does it really take 3+ years to make a mod? Just when you guys look like you're finished... you add MORE. Then MORE. And MORE. MORE. MORE. Really? Can't you at least get a v1.0 out, then add MORE in updates? By the time this is finished, we'll have galactic flying electric-powered police cars and star wars style guns. And I doubt people will still be playing this 10 year old game by then...

Just voicing my opinion here- I think the units look great and it's awesome how you keep adding new ones/editing the current ones but can you please try to focus on finishing the mod? Because alot of us here have been WAITING and WAITING and it seems you have enough units already. You can add more units after anyways...

Sorry, I'm not American, so I don't know what exactly ATF does I just know that it stands for "Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms" and that murder included a firearm. -

Here is mine. It's my first one and this was my first time using the editor. Took me 3 hours to make it. Hope everyone likes it. And thanks to ausavin26 for helping me. (disregard the bars on the first 2 images. forgot to cut them out) ---------------------- It's a regular day for everyone in Los Angeles. A CHP slicktop is pulling over a white limo. The CHP walks back to his cruiser with the man's ID. But suddenly the man jumps out of his vehicle and shoots the officer. Dispatch calls the CHP slicktop. There was no answer back. Another CHP cruiser is dispatched to the location. The CHP officer checks the other officer's pulse and calls for backup. Backup arrives on scene. Consisting of paramedics, ATF, K-9 unit, and LAPD Officers. Half an hour later, there are reports of shots fired and attempted vehicle thefts. A K-9 unit is closest to the scene and responds. The dog and the officer observe the situation. The officers calls for EMS and fire department. ATF and LAPD arrive on scene shortly. FBI is also called to take over the investigation. FBI plans their next move. The next day, the LAPP is patrolling when they hear shots fired and a subject discharging his weapon at a civilian. The LAPP moves in and the subject flees in a black van. The LAPP officers check the victim and call for backup. The FBI responds and pursues the black van. The van turns a corner and smashes into another car. "FBI, step out of the vehicle!" And the subject exits the vehicle. No one knows what he has under his shirt. The suspect suicides by blowing himself up with a bomb that was apparently under his shirt. The FBI calls for backup immediately. Both the suspect and the 2 people in the car were killed in the explosion. Case closed. -

Thanks! I figured most of everything out now. I'm working on mine and will post it soon. It's related to an episode of Criminal Minds. -

Okay, so I've got everything working. But how do I get a person to do something (such as draw weapon, arrest someone, lie on ground injured) -
Also, if you're going to add calls to the mod, here are some suggestions: Vehicle Accident Assault Fight Domestic Dispute Domestic Violence Robbery Armed Robbery Vehicle theft Vehicle pursuit (when you attempt to do a traffic stop but the vehicle doesn't pull over) Illegal Protest Homicide/murder Kidnapping Barricaded suspect (with hostages) Suicidal subject Man with a gun Shoplifting Disabled vehicle Suspicious activity Trespassing

Hey just wondering- how do we do these type of things with the editor? I'm new to this stuff... -
1 question and 3 suggestions. Question: Will we be including border police/patrol? (BC/Washington border) Suggestion 1: We should include a new unit called the "RCMP Supervisor" that is equivalent to the EMS Supervisor and the Battalion chief but on the police side. They should have commands like Call for Police Backup (any police in area), Call for BLS Ambulance, Call for ALS Ambulance, Call for Police Helicopter, Call EMS Supervisor, Call Battalion Cheif, and can enter the marked/unmarked chevrolet tahoe, and the unmarked crown victoria. Suggestion 2: Can we have most of police vehicles spawn at the parking lot behind the police department? Like for the fire departments. Like maybe 2 marked CVs, 1 marked tahoe, 1 unmarked tahoe, 1 ERT truck, 1 VPD car, etc. And have the police helicopter on the top of the PD. And then possibly have ambulances spawn at the hospital, instead of just at the fire station. Suggestion 3: Tasers. So that officers can tase people and they would lay on the ground for X amount of seconds. So that they wouldn't always have to shoot criminals.

Don't feel like searching for all my questions right now, so I'm just gonna put in some suggestions/questions into this post. 1. Will you include Vancouver police department? 2. For the RCMP, will you include all the divisions? (General duty, emergency response team, integrated road safety unit, k-9, etc) 3. Will you include transit and airport security? 4. WIll you include ALL different police vehicles? 5. WIll you include the Canadian Armed Forces? 6. Will you include the Sheriff's Department?

I also downloaded the alternate sirens with this submod. I noticed that for big vehicles such as the firetruck, mass casualty ambulance, and other vehicles with the louder and low-pitched siren, the sirens glitch. What happens is you turn on the siren, the alternate sirens AND the low-pitched sirens turn on making 2 sirens at once. It sounds horrible with both of them. Any way to fix this? Like remove the alternate sirens on the certain vehicles? Thank you.

Okay thank you I will try that.

Hello all, I just started playing the LA mod not too long ago (around 1-2 months) I have noticed that after playing freeplay for approximatively half an hour, traffic starts jamming up. All traffic coming into the map gets jammed at the intersections, where it comes to a point when 75% of the map`s intersections and roads are jammed with traffic. I can`t even get emergency vehicles by. I have to transport all my units on foot or by heli. It`s very annoying. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? Like maybe redirect certain roads coming into the map to keep traffic moving? Thank you. Tacticality
