That Helped Alot Thank You! Now it's making sense, just one more thing, when making the model, how do I keep one side of the (Half) perfectly cut straight? Haven't watched the whole tutorial yet but I looked through it and it seems really great thank you! Yeah I already did, but sometimes I forget what tool does what and its extremely difficult to go back and forth, not to mention that the files in the Zmodeler Tutorial, the first steps files are missing. Okay, I'm going through zmodelers tutorial on how to create a car and it's just not making sense. I'm trying to learn how to create vehicles, and then I can take it to Hoppah's tutorial and learn about flipping and mirroring. The zmodeler tutorial doesn't show what tools they are using, and Hoppah's tutorial gets to a step where it says once your model is finished (Half Of It) do this to flip it. So basically, I need help finding a tutorial about creating models mainly of cars in ZModeler, Google Sketch, or Lightwave, possibly 3Ds Max. Tryed google and didn't find very much. Thanks Everyone! Okay, thanks for the help everyone I got those things solved. Just one more thing, if I want to create a unit, how do I edit where vehicles spawn, where the firefighters come from and what units they go into, and how they "Go To" firestation. Looking through the scripts I got kinda lost, and I couldn't find anything really helpful on Google. Thanks for all the help everyone. Appreciation, C. Negatory -

Yeah, now that you mention it, I think it's because of my router, last time I played online the router wasn't installed, and thats likely the problem. We'll try later I guess. -
Hello All, My friend and I were trying to play Multiplayer with La Mod v1.9.3 the SG submod, Custom Dispatch, and he couldn't find my server. So, we both installed a copy of La 1.9.3 clean and tried to play and still nothing. We can't figure out why the server isn't showing up for him since the files are the same. Maybe because he's running 911 and I'm running EM4? Thanks Peeps, C. Negatory

Well, I'm trying to make a complete custom map, and I was thinking if I got Hoppah's permission the scripts for the map and fires, could those scripts from the La Mod be copied into the folders for my modification and the fires and accidents still work? Speaking of which, do all scripts have to be created from scratch for a new mod? If I'm making a new map in the editor I'm going to have to place things like units and such. None of the tutorials I can find go over these things =( Oh, and does anybody know how to create a polygon in Zmodeler? When I left click, it moves the camera, doesn't create or move anything, and objects seem to not be moving in the X, Y, or Z axis, maybe it's because I'm new to modeling, but I'm not sure. Okay I'm also having problems with the create a car tutorial from the Z Modeler website. Get over the display issues in zmod, I can, but if I can't get the car image that I'm supposed to trace from the tutorial to open, then it renders the entire tutorial useless. I've downloaded the tut from multiple sources, and still...I'm befuddled. Anyone around alot whose good with modeling that I can come to during the Tutorial stressfulness? Thanks! Hello Everyone, I'm trying to create my own mod using the tutorials found here: ( http://www.emergency-planet.com/index.php?...0&Itemid=35 ) and it covers making a model in Zmodeler and applying it to a texture and so forth, but it doesn't discuss how to make fires spawn randomly and how to make the dispatcher play certain voices for each situation, or how to make situations, if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Hello Everyone, First I'd like to say, that I'm not sure if this post qualifies to be here, or is allowed, if not I'm asking the mods to delete it. I'm trying to create almost a Mod from scratch for the city I live in (Las Vegas) as I thought, everyone loves Vegas, this would be a great Mod. I've been playing around in the editor just placing buildings and designing citys and parks and such. Thanks to Hoppah theres lots of additional stuff in the editor that I know I can make good use of. However, I still have several questions about putting together a mod as I was planning to do it in the following steps. 1)Create City With Default Buildings 2)Tweak the city with Custom Buildings And Objects 3)Place Units-Also Custom For Our City 4)Add-In Fires, Emergencys, and anything else I left out. Q: Does anybody have any suggestions about how I'm doing that? As much custom work I'm trying to do, I need to create custom vehicles and give them custom textures. Yes, I do have Photoshop. Thinking back to the custom units, Photoreal I don't think works on such small objects so I will need to hand paint alot of the textures I will be making. This is everything from building textures to vehicles, weapons, tools, and so forth. Q: Does anybody (With Good Experience) want to volunteer with me and offer their assistance, as I'm brand new to making a mod and scripting, let alone the editing system for Emergency 4? Now, if I'm going to be making custom buildings and things for the Mod, I know I'm going to use Photoshop to create textures then I have to apply them to an object and convert it to a valid game file. There is a bunch of questions running around in my head right now so I figured I'd list them out and if anybody could answer/help me with any of them I would appreciate it, Here Goes: 1)What program/how do I build Custom Objects and Vehicles? 2)How do I apply textures to said Buildings/Vehicles? 3)How do I convert these files and such so that they appear in the game's editor? 4)Obviously, engines and things are going to need objects in them, Pump connections, etc. (Which Are All In The Editor) and are obviously going to need to be available on the engine, so they will need to be linked on to the objects. Is that done in the editor or via scripting? 5)Spawn Points, Vehicle Boundaries, Fires, What The Fires Look Like, How They Spread, When They Spawn, Where They spawn, is that all done in the editor or somewhere in scripting? 6)What EXACTLY is done in the editor? 7)What EXACTLY is done in the scripting section? So, my goal would be to use a sub-custom map, and tweak it to my specifications and then put in Vehicles and such. My goal is to release this Mod within the next 6-8 months depending on how much help I get, what I can learn, and using the 8 hours of spare time I have available daily, how much me, and my "to-be" team are willing to put in. Well, You said you haven't been far out west so let me give you some insight. Here in Las Vegas, Nevada (Close to Los Angeles) we have four operating Fire Departments and two privately owned paramedic services, and due to them constantly patrolling around, the Fire Department doesn't transport patients. The four Fire Departments we have are: 1)Clark County Fire Department 2)North Las Vegas Fire Department 3)Las Vegas Fire Department 4)Henderson Fire Department All being so close together, they all have basically the same SOP's. We have basically Large and Small Stations, excluding the HAZMAT and Heavy Rescue's station. In A Large Station: 2x-Engine-Rescue Photo: http://www.massfiretrucks.com/Clark_County_Engine_11.jpg 1x-Ladder Truck Photo: http://www.massfiretrucks.com/Ladder 2x-Rescue Photo: http://www.massfiretrucks.com/Clark_County...y_Rescue_21.jpg 1x-Batallion Smaller Station: 2x-Rescue 1x-Engine-Rescue Some stations the above (^^) is reversed. Optional: Heavy Rescue Photo: http://www.fire-police-ems.com/misc/cfc360.jpg HAZMAT Photo: http://www.massfiretrucks.com/Clark_County_HazMat_24.jpg We have it setup that anyone on a Rescue is also equipped with a RIT bag, and our engines carry most Rescue gear, and they all carry a Combi-Tool. What I'd like answered is why so many users send the Heavy Rescue to an MVA? I'm not sure if it's just here in Las Vegas, but the Heavy Rescue doesn't go out all that often. Typical MVA: 2x-PD 1x-Engine-Rescue 1x-Rescue (Unless Otherwise Requested) Private Ambulance To Transport Patients (Depending On How Many Needed) Come to think of it, a Las Vegas mod would be interesting seeing as how many departments are and how things are run here.
