Theres plenty of stuff in the works, just need real life to take a rest so we can concentrate more on the mod , how dare it! And re: a pic of boats, there's been the same WIP pic of the severn class lifeboat in each of my posts over the last couple of weeks......

fair suggestion, i did set it all to low for a minute, will try later with higher gfx, though did work in 1.8 fine and also in oringinal on those low settings i think. -

i was given the game with this cover if it helps re:static water. Emergency 4 Global Fighters for life water is still static after a full uninstall of la and e4, defrag, restart, sweep with ccleaner and reinstall. fine in e4 original. -
re: new freeplay map, i think it has a nice american feel to it, good job.

The water at top of new 1.9 freeplay map is completely static (cant show in a screenshot) and not ripply as it should be. Also, no station icons on minimap as in 1.8, maybe not bug but an omission/forgotten? -

what did you edit mate? others may want to do this sixteenstons\emergency4 folder, find the em4.cfg file and open with notepad or similair find: <var name="r_xres" value="1024" /> <var name="r_yres" value="768" /> and change the 2 values (in this case 1024 and 768) to the resolution you want then save the config -

Ok i wasnt sure as not used it with e4 but handy to know. Definately works with steam, my mate and i use it all the time.

you can do it in mspaint but the gif quality is lower and looks grainy. jpeg is bigger filesize but reasonable, which can be done in mspaint.

you can open .png in photoshop and save as .gif, thats probably best. keeps image size and quality but shrinks filesize well for internet use.

Yeah it allows you to stage units anywhere on the map ready for callout. Like when they are at the poice station parked up. When officer or fire chief calls for a police car, the closest one attends.

you can add the e4 exe to steams non game list and use the steamchat ingame. think it works with xfire too...? you could use those with your missus

Wether you save 1 or 1000 lives, its still a worthwhile and proud achievement (and feeling)that few people will ever achieve. Well done.
