Yep take a look at the README file in there. There is a lot of other stuff you have to do to get them in game. It is work you will have to do for yourself. Off hand you would have to edit at a MINIMUM the "freeplaybase.xml", "portraits.xml" (x2), "infotexts.xml", and "LASiren.script" files.

That is telling you that they are there but that they don't seem to be refering to anything. I would fix the issues (It will tell you that they will be deleted just fix them all at the same time). Make a backup just in case and then give that reinstall a try when you get some time.

Hey guys you kinda bumped an old topic but I'll see if I can help. The LA mod does not require the modinstaller to work it is an .exe file just double click it and run it. I am sure that you very likely did it exactly as it was described but bare with me for a minute. If it were me I would go through the whole thing a second time first just to make sure that it took to the registry. If that doesn't work I would recomend uninstalling the game and cleaning the registry quickly with a freeware program called CCleaner. Then reinstall the game and try the fix again if needed. **WARNING CCleaner will alter your registry please be sure you know what you are doing, as this can really mess up your computer. If you don't know find someone who does.**

The dispatcher thing should actually be pretty easy. I would theorize that I should be able to just send you a download link to my English dispatch files. As long as your dispatcher files are in the same general place place that mine are "C:\Program Files\WizardWorks\911 - First Responders\Data\Lang\us" there shouldn't be any problem with you just droping them in. Just send me a PM if you want to give it a shot

Wow that kinda sucks. Do you have any relatives in the U.S that could help you out? You don't seem to be the first with this problem. One of the members here went so far as to register for a paypall account with a U.S. Address despite the fact that he lived in the U.K. It did work out for him but I wouldn't condone that course of action.

Well now Marshall has beaten me to the punch but yes this is an easy fix. The easist thing to do would be to have Ghost just add them to the download. However, since I read somewhere that he is going on vacation this week, I am hopefull that this video can help you all out and hold you over till he gets back.

If that is addressed to me. Yes I will get around to that at some point but it will likely happen in a second project that is still in the development stages. Marshall and I will discuss their release in this mod as well. So the short answer is yes but not right now.

That's a really good question. Maybe it would be possible to get either? Kinda like the way the standard LAPD officers rotate between male and female.

Lets take it easy my friends. @itfosho This is not an angry post it is just meant to inform you. There is no download link yet because the MOD is a WIP (Work in Progress) Rest assured we are working hard on the mod but it will be awhile before we finish.

I don't think I have ever seen any turn lights on the sides of busses period. The directional mode ones kinda make it look like an airport runway Regardless I think I like the directional mode ones but I would suggest reversing the direction that they flash in.
