I figured out a Nvidia fix for this a couple of years ago, it was on the front page of the topic, but I don't know if it's there still, I had the same issue as you and it fixed it

Processor Intel Core i5-2310M Processor clock speed 2.1GHz Memory 6.00GB Graphics Processor Nvidia GeForce GT 540M and 4gb of RAM and it ran V1+V2 without issue or lag, and there was no lag whilest I played so i don't think it's memory

Lots of nice new features But it's very unstable. When trying to cool objects with the hose it crashes It crashed after putting engine on after lights, and that's both times I played it. I like the stuff in it and the ideas are fun, But it's buggy as hell for me

I'm playing as we speak, but I don't seem to have a command for returning to fire station on any of the units? Also just had a ctd after turning lights on before turning the engine on

Can't be just me who sighs at the past few pages of comments... It's a game for gods sake..

Basically it's a command given by the incident commander meaning that no more fire service resources would be needed and that the fire is contained -

Thought i'd try one of these seeings this is my first private mod, it is based on glasgow and all units are marked the same as their real counterparts At 2:03am Johnston fire control room received a call from the grounds keeper at glasgow cathedral stating a fire had started in the roof space, http://postimg.org/image/zdkf48j43/ two pumps are dispatched from V05 Calton community fire station less than a mile away. Upon arrival the watch manager liaises with the groundskeeper who informs him that the fire is spreading rapidly through a gap in the roof space. The watch manager orders crews to begin stretching hose and sends a BA team inside to review the scale of fire. http://postimg.org/image/dak70rwsj/ 2:19am Watch Manager requests pumps to be made up to 5 brining in units from nearby cowcaddens and springburn community fire stations upon their arrival two main exterior jets are set up http://postimg.org/image/ya0as9ygz/ http://postimg.org/image/h4dn9xe4j/ 2:30am BA crews are pulled out from inside the building due to flaming beams falling. Right i've managed to get the model in the game, so thank you for that but i've hit another snag, they have the default helmets, I have the new helmets DDS file in the models folder but they don't appear to work any idea's -

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be able to guide or help me with transfering london mod personnel to essex mod as i've tried a million diffrent options and been unable to figure it out, any help or tips would be much appreciated

Hi guys, I've recently been working on my own private mod but i've hit a snag, i've retextured the london mods firefighters and placed them in my mods folder, I load up my mod, and it's bizarre the personnel appear perfectly and exactly how i made them if i click "continue campaign" and load in mission 1 But when I load up free play or any other mission, they appear as massive missing texture boxes, and the guys in SCBA appear as they do in the normal game This is frustrating the life out of me, so any help would be much appreciated.

Sure in real life they have their functions, all I was saying was that they rarely doing much, at least with the fire service, and that the game works way better in a town city setting, but again, only an opinion

How large has the fire service ended up being?

In my humblest of opinions (and that's all it is) I think you should make a comprehensive and realistic Uk mod, with towns and cities, rather than airports, I mean realistically an airport fire service actually has a real call (plane crash, large fire) once or twice in their careers I mean what would you do with police resources, how often are police ever actually doing things at airports other than security checks, same with medical services. In my own personal opinion, the game is designed and suited to a city/town environment but, alas thats just my two cents on the matter

The stuff looks fantastic man, I was wondering, on the fire appliances for any of the units are you planning to use battenburg markings? Just to give some of the off map engines a more modern feel? either way I can't wait to play!
