People ARE renaming the .eft file when they are not supposed to. I did not rename the .eft file because I did read the instructions. -

1st. Read through the previous pages to find the fix for the fire trucks. If you don't feel like reading to find fix then just move all the vehicles out of station and send them all back and they will be all back the normal way. 2nd. I don't think you have to rename the freeplaySE.eft just the .dds and .e4m files according to the version you have. 3rd. Try reinstalling the map again WITHOUT renaming the freeplaySE.eft. -
1st off. you are posting in the wrong topic. This is Hoppah's new freeplay map for LA Mod. The one you are asking about is w00d's freeplay map. http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=5499 2nd. Youu renamed the .dds and .e4m right but not the last one. You keep it freeplaySE.eft if I remember right.

Hoppah will not approve anything from New York or Chicago as a sub mod because it does not fit in LA Mod. If the vehicles were LA and added something unique to the mod then he would probably include as a submod. It would be cool but that's the rules. Bama, can't wait to see the SF mod. Pics looked great.

I can't release the files unless I do my own modeling. I am just reskinning Hoppah's vehicles from LA Mod. Read the copyright topic on more about this.

Well, I had some bad luck friday night. Storm passed through and lightning struck our phone and cable line. The bolt went from the phone line to the router and from the router to my computer and ended at the video card and completely fried it. So I have a new one on order and will be here Tuesday. I don't think it affected my motherboard but I haven't messed with it other than taking out the video card. Had to go buy a new phone and couple more electronics that connect to TV due to it. Phone company was nice enough to come out on a Sunday morning to fix the internet and phone. So until I get my other computer back, I will be at a stand still.

Here is how you get the AMR ambulance on standby mode. Load the editor, load the mod under the modificatins tab. It may take quite a while to load, i think it takes my computer close to 5 minutes. After its loaded, a prototypes window should open. In that window, click on the vehicles tab then in the files find 01 LA Ambulance and click on it. Now find and select the AMR ambulance and click on the edit button. A new window should appear. You will see in the right hand side a button that says Commands (may be worded different) click on that. You will see like a transfer window pop up. The left box is all the commands available and the right box is what commands are on the vehicle. You need to scroll down in the left box until you find vcmdStandbyOn and select it, then click the arrow > and you will see it transfer it to the right box. Now, scroll down until you see vcmdStandbyOff and do the same thing. Before you click OK, make sure that you see those 2 commands in the right box. If so, click ok and exit out of the editor. I think that should do it. Just load the game, and test it to see if it works. I can't assist you on the call command from batallion, sorry.

Off topic: Can someone delete that quote in firestation27's reply. On topic: I agree with NFK. 2 fire stations, police station and a hospital is all that is needed on the map. You have police cars on patrol and can even have ambulances patroling making it easy for them to respond to scene quickly. You only need one hospital for the map also.

Vehicle Replacement - Light Equipment truck with the Hazmat Truck

HES can be switched with Hazmat. Hazmat firefighters can be changed to regular firefighters when alarm is sounded by changing the LAfirestationstart.script I think it was. I haven't edited files in a while so I forgot. If the alarm sounds and you have HES there, Hazmat firefighters will run out just like they would with the truck. Right click the script file, go to open with and select either notepad or wordpad. -
Update #2: Taylorville Police I need to touch up the unit number and In Memory decal on the right and left side by the front fender. Lights also need to be worked on. I know the model needs a little work but that shouldn't take to long.

Torrent is dead because there is no seeders. Without a seeder you will not get the files from the torrent. So therefore, you will not be able to find out if credit was given or not.

Both have been acknowledged previously if I remember right and are in process of being fixed. 1. I think it was a pathing issue. I know fire station 2 pathing is fixed when ambulance returned to station. 2. I think they are fixing that. When one person stops in road, more spawn and just keep piling up causing traffic jams. -
I'm a Chevy guy and hate fords but to tell you the truth, Ford Crown Vics should stay as patrol cars. Those cars have good body style, handling is good even at high speeds etc. I like the Chevy Caprices as well from '92/'93 years also.

What did I release? Now I think about it, everybody that has posted their reskins have not posted textures, they posted screenshots in editor and game. I better take that texture off and get a in game picture.

Its the unfinished area. Hoppah says there is only 2 more blocks to do which is in the SE corner and that's the bottom right hand corner.

Wood's parking at the fire station is different and in a different location, now I am not sure but I am pretty positive you will have to add your own virtual objects and scripting to make it work. If I am wrong, then maybe someone who has more knowledge then me will be able to more assist me. (I still don't get how to make virtual objects.)

Can't get unit pic to come up but I just put the LEV on the map through editor and it works just fine. Thanks.
