  1. Just FYI, we are working on this still, but progress may be a bit slower over the next few days as I try to get my head together after being in a traffic accident today. It was enough to likley total my truck and has left my already bad knee,neck and back, in worse shape then it already was.
  2. I cant be of much help, except for suggest you try www.radioreference.com. They are great help any time i need help with a scanner. Also you should get familiar with your local scanner laws. If memory serves me right the AMR Avatar is because you do work for AMR. In which case you are likley excused from using a scanner with out a ham radio operators permit. If your not sure, I would look in to it because it can be a heavy fine,i believe, if caught.

  5. Have some patience, it wasnt even 24 hours yet, but yes your correct. Keep in mind that if you alter the mod weather it be map,scripts,prototypes(lights for example), then the person you are playing with must have the EXACT same files you do.

  7. Thank you captain obvious. Problem is they arent revealing the vast majority of details about the mod, so better to suggest it and already have it, then not suggest it and not have it.

Well NFK covered this pretty well, but just to elaborate one step further, you have to pick up where Hoppah left off. So if your adding a car crash and Hoppah has added 13 car crashes, you would start at ccar_14 for all the cars in that crash. I think the people need to be ccar_14b. Its hard to say. Might be a problem with your model. Have you tested other things you added before adding this car? Might not be the car, it may be another change. Im leaning towards a problem with the model or setting for the prototype.
  9. It means, when you asked to provide a dxdiag and logfile, dont go on posting about the problem with out posting these first. These usually cut right to the root of the problem. I dont see anything that stand out. If there is a newer driver for your video card, I would suggest trying it. I would care to guess there is a newer version, but yours really isnt that old, so who knows. You may also have better luck in the technical section. These crashes are not usually related to the LA Mod themselves, but the game itself. I realize it happens since the upgrade to patch 2, but the game is still likley the root of the problem. Have you tried deleting the mod, clearing your cache and cookies, redownloading, and reinstalling?
  10. At the top of the screen it says map, click save map. Now double click on freeplay.e4m or dfreeplay.e4m. dfreeplay is if you use Emergency 4 Deluxe. However unless you script the changes, they wont return to the spot you park them in.
  11. What about bomb sniffing dogs? In some cases the bombs are hidden so we have to use a dog to find it, only then can an officer or robot disarm the bomb. Just a suggestion.
  12. Hmm the redirect thing is interesting. I noticed the same thing; redirect works fine in some area, some it does not. None the less I am confident that the problem lies in the recently released LA Mod patch because I am using an old CHP Charger prototype, and noticed similar problems with the Unmakred Crown Vic as well.
  13. There are no patches for 911FR. If you applied the emergencey 4 patches you should uninstall the game and reinstall it. Compatibility mode is not needed for windows 7. A logfile and dxdiag file is very usefull in troubleshooting these problems, but my guess is if you applied some sort of patch to your game, you screwed it up by doing this.
  14. It is, you just have to follow the directions to put it in english. I forget exactly how its done, but search the site. The mod comes with an english translation. News on what? There was never any news to begin with. No one is working on this unless Hoppah or some one is doing it secretly which I doubt.
  15. So why not use the default LA MOD sirens, or the siren submod that can be found by searching? Otherwise, sorry to say but your best bet is to make the sirens yourself.
  16. Looks to be legal. Is virus free scanned with Nod32 and Malwarebytes. However it will not install in Windows 7, so I tried to make it compatible with Win XP. However the installer, which launched successfully under compatibility mode, says it cant be installed on Windows XP/Vista 64 bit.
  17. It helps to listen when people try to help, post a logfile and dxdiag. You need patch 3 for emergency 4. Its in the downloads database.

  19. Just a tip, post the script next time, not screenshots of parts of the script. It will generally be easier to help you.
  20. At the top where you went to load the map, it says save map. Save it as freeplay.e4m overwriting the old one, and if you use em4 deluxe, edit and save dfreeplay.e4m.
  21. Please, stop and think about what your saying. PLEASE. "I never Said you were the Creator bro" - No you ignored the fact I am the creator. "i can take NO for an answer so calm down." - So why not stop posting when I told you the first time around the mod, well submod, is DEAD?! I will calm down when the thread is locked so I dont have to deal with people who do not even understand the logic behind what there saying.
  22. This past week and this week have been a insane. There was a one murder down on the south side. Not to many details yet but I believe 2 guys shot a man dead in his home. Not something you hear of to often here. Another house was shot up, the bullets barley missing one of two victims inside. There was a van belonging to a DJ Company stolen from a gas station. An officer spotted the fan but pursued it with no lights or no siren, but sounds as though the driver spooked and ran. The driver of the stolen van eventually hit a car head on and killed the driver(I believe) of the car. The driver was in his early 20s. There was a breaking and entering hear at my apt complex where a guy who was not on the lease, kicked the door in. Last but not least Friday morning around midnight, a man jumped in the river. The river has an extremely strong current here, and even more so in that particular area. A civilian was able to jump in and rescue him. Police show up to check the guys welfare, he jumps back in the river and appeared as if he was pushing himself under water. Evansville Fire was called for Dive Rescue as well as mutual aid called in from a county department. Crews searched the river for about 2-3 hours before being forced to give up. The rivers so dirty and nasty and muddy that the divers were literally feeling there way along rather then actually looking. Of course side sonar equipment was in use as well, but crews were forced to give up until day light. Crews continued to search later Friday and on Saturday as well for the guy. Sunday, Casino security called Evansville fire as two bodies had washed a shore. Not surprisingly, one was the man who jumped in friday night. The other, was a good friend of mine from high school. No one knows quite how he ended up at the river at this point.
  23. The scripts will be fine. All you have to do is go in the editor and add 4 virtual objects. Load the editor, load the mod, load the freeplay or dfreeplay.e4m file.If you use emergency 4 deluxe, edit the dfreeplay, otherwise edit freeplay.e4m. Hit F5. Now add 4 virtual objects. I assume they need to be named fs_hes, this is where the HES will park. Then fs_hes2 just to the front back or side. This second VO instructs the game which way to face when parking. Look at how the fs_battalion and fs_battalion2 VOs are set up for reference.
