Perhaps you need to turn up the graphics detail in the settings menu assuming your PC can handle it.

lol problem is if you cant get to the call at the exact second, the suspect could be a block away or 5 blocks away. Assuming the second they could have fled in any direction so theres no telling where they could be.

Update: I mentioned earlier there would be new personnel to staff ambulances, and I have done just that. However, I can now confirm, its not quite as simple as I explained. Since I am working out some details/fine tuning, lets just say that there is no more set staffing so to speak. Instead of just seeing the same 2 medics run out every time you need to staff an ALS Ambulance, the game will choose a medic at random. So for example, you sound the alarm to staff an ALS Ambulance. 2 Medics will run out but Medic 1 could be the typical FF/PM, it could be wearing uniform 2, or it could be wearing uniform 3. Medic 2 could be the typical FF/PM, it could be wearing uniform 2, or it could be wearing uniform 3. Like I said gotta work out the details a bit, but I think you guys will find it quite exciting.

Use rubbing alcohol, 90% is best. It dissolves almost instantly on contact.

Wattage means almost nothing in terms of PSUs. For example a 500 watt Corsair will outperform a cheapo 800 watt psu. Its the amps that you need to be concerned with, and good name brands. A junk psu is just asking for a fire that could jeopardize your rig, if not your home. That might sound silly but I have heard numerous stories of cheap psus going up in flames. Corsair makes fantastic PSUS, if not the best on the market. Alot of people use certain OCZ psus, but i dont trust them. OCZ sells cheap parts because they make cheap parts. Seasonic makes some good psus. BeQuiet! makes good psus from the little reviews i heard of them. Im a bit out of touch on my hardware as of late, but surely things havent changed that much. Also if your worried about power requirements the 5970 draws less power then a 480. It may be $200 more but it also has more memory, dual processors,and runs quieter. Your friend wouldnt be much of a friend if he charged you much of anything for installing a video card. It snaps in to a PCI-E slot and you run 2 cables from the psu to it. So easy a 5 year old could do it. You really should have saved your self the trouble of buying an HP with the upgrades your doing. Prebuilts PCs like these arent designed to go swapping everything around.

Well i dont bother keeping up with mobile hardware to much but i can tell you thats a pretty low end cpu, video card might be low end to. Thats the problem with laptops you make major sacrifices in the performance department to have mobility. It may suit your needs depending on what your going to do. The only aspect of EM4 that needs a really good computer is map making seeing as the textures are 300MB+ images before going in to the game. Although the more power the better by all means. Whats your budget and what are your needs?

Well apparently they took my criticism because the name was changed. If people ask stupid things, ignore them. I am pretty sure that the last time FF posted a model before this one) it was an Engine, that he literally just completed after spending hours of work on. Atleast thats how I understood it, which implies to me the models arent done. I can understand that the models may be "done" but you wish to touch them up. However, when I hear some one just got done with such and such model after spending hours on it, that leads me to believe that models are still being created. Not trying to argue, simply looking for some clarification is all.

It all depends on what you need. If your needing to draw a long straight line, theres a line tool, theres a pint brush tools,etc. Play with the program and figure it out.

I am not adding events to the map at this time. Once I get all of the submods released, then I am going to come back and probably add more events to the map. Sadly I have no idea why this is. Maybe its an issue with the game set to only accept accidents up to a certain number.

I already did the lifeguard truck. The truck works fine, but there was a personnel problem, which I may try to go back over and fix up soon now that i am more experienced.

I looked in to it briefly yesterday , but the code for the MCU might just work.

The irony of that smiley given your question. If your concerened with what units are in the game perhaps the better question would have been which ladder(s) and which hazmat squad(s) are in the game rather then if there are any.

Nope, I know they said they were done with models, like Ale said, but they keep adding more and more.

Well basically you need to open the xml files in lang and specs from the mod and the submod, and compare them using somehting like windiff(i prefer araxis merge personally) and simply add the missing lines to the XMLs inside the mods folder. Other then that, off the top of my head, the rest is drag and drop.
