Ok so is the script working or not?

Hey Jon, if you want to do this, its certainly possible, but the problem is you loose the function of using it for aerial rescue. Anyways, I havent investigated it much, but apparently from the looks of it, the tiller has an invisible basket listed under super structures. This would be needed for it to work like the tiller. If you need more help let me know.

First the topic title: And as note, putting please help in the title is kind of pointless. Its a help section, so that goes with out saying and doesnt get you a response any quicker. Second thing is, So if the submod has a topic, keep it in the topic. Third, the link to the submod doesnt work, but just post your question in that thread. The author is more likley to see if that way.

The LABattalionChief.script would be a good place to start, and then you need to add that command to the BC, however you might have to sacrifice a command as the game only allows co many commands per person.

Now here is how it works in LA. In LA, if fire is called for a medic run, fire will request police if theres a death. I am going to assume that it would be a detective that makes the call weather the coroner/medical examiner are needed or not.If the death was a result of natural causes, the coroner is called unless the person happened to see there doctor with in the past 72 hours. In that case the detective makes the report, and the funeral home will pick up the body in the hearse.

So are you trying to new units(new models or reskins) to the mod or simply not have to purchase so many units? If you dont want to purchase more units, open specs/freeplaybase.xml and change the count to a higher number. Theres not need to PM Hoopah, theres no need to ask permission now that Hoppah has abandoned the project.

Try deleting the LA Mod folder, and maybe run CCleaner afterward(cleaner and registry) and see if that helps.

What about a log file?

Ok so i proposed this idea in the NY Mod thread the other day and wanted some feedback to see if people like the idea or not. My idea was that before the coroners can transport a body, a medical examiner must check the body first. This would create more work so do you think it is a good idea or not? And in terms of realisim, after new info came out, it realized the concept was about 50/50 in terms of realism vs fake, which I can detail tomorrow if people want to know.

How many times are you going to ask questions about that map? Is it really that hard to find the thread for the maps, read it, and ask your questions there? This is really getting OT, and I dont see what your changes have to do with any of this?

Actually, I just checked all three scripts he posted and havent seen a missing bracket on any of them in regards to the ATF_CV or was that just an example? Id use mine because I cant see what Francis is talking about unless it was just an example, but I wouldnt use these scripts for the NY Submod unless you have edited the NY submod to include all these units.

Depends on what skills you have, and you would need to buy zmodeler2, which is like $50 or so, or have some one kind enough to import the files and save them as z3d for you, then you could edit them but you would need to have them save you modified z3d file to v3o. 3. http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?/forum/16-en-modding-amp-mod-help/ You can look through the topics on the first two pages by me. They explain what needs to be done, but again it requires Zmodeler 2 to get the job done. And the push bar probably wouldnt look right, so youd be better of using the pushbar from the CHP Charger.

DING DING DING! We have a winner! Yep your right. The odd thing is, for me anyways, when i use the open gates command, it opens the first 2 gates, but not the third. Now I only have one unit in FS3 for now, an ambulance. When I send it back to the FS, it goes to the wrong gate in the rear, and the front gate for its bay opens up.

So try w00ds map submod that Hoopah posted. Theres 2 maps in the installer, and hopefully soon I will be releasing my next submod which is based on the first map w00ds did among with a ton of other changes! After that I am thinking of doing my own map but havent decided for sure yet.

Ehh personally I will never deal with Amazon again. I have had 2 bad experiences with them. 1, I ordered used CDs, it took the seller(not amazon directly but keep reading) about 2 weeks to ship them, and they sent them Media Mail which means it took about another week of shipping. When I conveyed my dismay, in a professional manner, to amazon, they simply said this was with in there acceptable policy. 2 weeks is acceptable? Not in my book! Sorry but its not that hard to buy a shipping label online and give to the carrier or run in the post office real quick and pay them for the label. The second time around, I ordered a mouse by Razer. They sent me the right model, but wrong color. The only thing I applaud them on is they over nighted me a replacement before I even sent the original one back. Funny thing is, when the mouse broke down with in the warrant period, I shipped it to Razer to be fixed, and they sent me an entirely diff rent model of mouse back.

Yep Shane and I both have added a 3rd Fire Station in our respective submods, but sadly we both seem to be experiencing issues getting it to work right. Hopefully if Shane and I put our heads together we can figure this out. I have seeked the advice of a an anonymous but very talent scripter here who verified the scripts looked right. Maybe Hoppah can assist us on the issue if nothing else.

You have to understand that almost every reskin topic in this forum was started some time ago when the LA Mod was being actively developed. At that time Hoppahs policy was he would not allow any reskins of his models to be released. Eventually he said reskins of actual LA Units were allowed, and now that he has stopped modding he has given permission for reskins to be released.
