No you dont. I never have bothered to put files in C:\ to unlock them.

Hard drive means nothing in terms of gamming. Simply download the mod. extract it. Run the exe file, and your done. Only way to know for sure if it runs for you, is to try it. Its not like its going to hurt your computer to try.

Actually Vista and Win 7 do not need an app to extract zip files. Nor is win-zip the only app. Most people use winrar.

This mod works on any versions of the game. I have yet to see a deluxe only mod. As for the crash to desktop, search for crash to desktop. Theres a million thread about it already.

You could use the texture for the airport mission in game, and use the buildings and such already on it. However, you would have to add events manually.

Try the default config file and do not edit it this time unless your instructed to. If you experience black bars on the side of the screen or something like that, then we can tell you how to edit it. If you need to change the resolution, do so via the in game options menu.

Mod stability is mod stability, it has nothing to do with your OS. Been running EM4 on Windows since it was in beta stage.

I would link you to the tutorial about getting sketch up files into v3o, but its pointless. Ami wasnt kidding when he said sketch up models arent meant for EM4, so you might as well forget it. The models will likley crash your game or slow it down.

Guy in the neighboring county was picked up on manufacturing meth charges, along with i think 2 or 3 others. He was found dead less then 48 hours after being booked in to jail and it doesnt appear to be foul play involved. And our former trustee for this part of town is probably in more sh!t then she already was. She had stolen something like 150,000 from the townships money. She used it to buy a bunch of junk including NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK tickets. Now, partially because of her actions, Knight Township Fire Department is being forced to close down at the end of December. Knight cover an area of about 10 square miles, but but there are about 8,000 people packed in that area, plus lots of factories, farm land and interstate. One of there stations is located about one mile from the river making them first due on most water rescues, not to mention they assist several other township/county departments for mutual aid. While I am in Knight Township, I am declared to live in city lines so it does not effect me, but I still hate to see the department go as there a valuable asset.

Simply create a second dds file based on the first, and name it fire_engine2led.dds and open the v3o for the led engine and replace fire_engine2 with fire_engine2led and replace fire_engine2.dds with fire_engine2led.dds.
