Well just a guess but i would say hoppah would look into it, and be bale to tell its not his cv and make it known you guys arent using his cv.
-
Look up airport mechanic. My guess is either a Ford E-Series van, a Chevy Express 3500 or similar, or a Truck with a utility bed, similar to the LA Mod HES.
-
^take your time jab. Thanks for the update. I hate to say it but why not actually finish the other mod before starting this one, although I am guessing the apertures is the same aside from paint jobs? If so why not just focus on making several maps for the other mod so people have variety.
-
^thanks but I already know what they mean, i just figured there was an actual term other then it just being a Maltese cross variation.

16 Reskins are planned at current but most of this is the cv being skinned over and over again. 3 of which are TEC vehicles which I hope Hoopah will look past as the bridge layer and crane are just reskins of the original game units anyways. Plus there are 21 new vehicle models pending. Due to the number of reskins, this is why the title reflects sub mod at current. On top of the 21 new vehicles, there are plans for 2 new fire stations which will replace the LA Mod stations on the LA Mod maps, and then be carried over to the new map which puppysboy222 will be making later on. While I dont plan on any new functions being added I do hope to alter a few of the current scripts to function slightly different. -

@randomperson, theres a few secrets like a few new twists on old functions, and I probably wont reveal pics/models of most of the fire apertures, so you will have to wait until the mod is done to see them. @bama, the Impala was done by some one on another Emergency Fan Forum. I forgot the forum name, but it was posted here awhile back and the read me said it was free to use as long as credit was given. So credit is already in the read me for my mod. At the time of release it was still a "beta" model because it didnt have functional doors or trunk. There in the model, there just not detached to where the doors have there own v3o file. Just a little more info. Lights: The mod is going to come with somewhat realistic light patterns so that it wont be to harsh on older systems. On his own, Zootoo will release a submod with tons of lights. Think of it like the default LA Mod lights vs Tony's Light Pack by NewFoundKing. Fire Station 1: Bay1: Engine 6 Bay 2: Quint 6 Bay 3: Engine 61 Bay 4: Dive Rescue 6 Bay 5: Rescue(Brush) 7(Double Purpose) Additional Parking: Battalion Chief Fire Station 2: Bay 1: Engine 4 Bay 2: Rescue(Engine) 5 Bay 3: Rescue 7 Additional Parking: Brush 6 Battalion Chief 2 Aside from the dive rescue(which is a reskin),and possibly Engine 61(might be a new model or might use part of a cab on one of the current engines) these will be all new models. There may be additional engines available in this release, or they might be in V1.1 or v2. -

^thats a great idea, but i doubt the ice slips or float planes are possible. I wish. I love the snow/ice and we usually get one good snow every 2 or 3 years and thats when i kick in the 4x4 and push stupid teenagers out of the ice trying to drive old school Civics,Eclipses and sport cars in general when there a foot of snow on top of an inch or two of ice. This year was really bad as we had a TON of freezing rain for like a day and then it turned to snow. For comparison, an inch of snow in Chicago, and every ones fine. We get an inch of snow and its chaos. Anyways back on topic, I agree an Aussie Mod would be cool. -

mspaint that comes with windows sucks, although the new version for win7 looks good, but paint.net is free and it is quite good. I havent used gimp for awhile but i would say, from what i recall photoshop>gimp>paint.net>mspaint. -
I think your mixed up as I obviously referred to the whole symbol as the star of life. I dont think it matters but to try to clarify, the star of life refers to the whole symbol, so I assume there has to be some sort of proper name for the logo in the first post, not even specific to that logo but the logo in general. Like there is the one in the first post, or ones like these: http://www.scgov.net/PublicCommunications/...reLogoColor.jpg http://diberville.ms.us/admin/wp-content/u...logo-small1.jpg http://newbrickingtonfirerescue.webs.com/Fire%20Logo.JPG

As for the assignment thing, not perfect, but try using the group/squad command built into the game. Group 1 could be 1 3 police cars and a swat truck, whil group 2 is 3 ALS ambos, group 3 a Ladder and BLS Engine, and so on. You can assign up to 6 group i think. Maybe 8, cant recall.

^yes it probably wont be until v2 though. -
Theres no technical term? Like is the star of life?
-
For example I used this image. Whats the term for this basic logo?

Evansville Police Department - They patrol the city, and investigate crimes in city limits. Not sure if they investigate crimes outside of city limits. They use Crown Vics and Impalas for there regular patrol cars, plus a Dodge Charger. They have a few misc units. Evansville is in Vanderburgh County. Vanderburgh County Sheriffs - They patrol mostly the out skirts of the city but have power with in city limits to. They sometimes will sometimes drive by an inner city traffic stop if there in the area just to make sure everything looks to be in order, but they wont actually stop. They use Crown Vics mostly. They also have an Expedition and a few Toyota pick ups. Indiana State Police - They patrol the highways. but you may seem them in city like the sheriffs. Like sheriffs they may also check up on traffic stops if there in the area. They have authority any where in the state. Indiana Conservation officers - Often referred to as Game Wardens they patrol the river, and river front down town, the lakes, they patrol around country gravel roads, camp grounds and they have lots of power. More so then all of the above. All of the above have the power to respond anywhere in the city if need be. Now we have 2 major university campuses in town, but both of which have campus security, but surprisingly they dont have campus police.
-
Purley guessing but the script will function the same so it shouldnt matter, Either they remodel the doors to be circular on top, or they leave square garage doors which would as long as your not looking in the fire station, you wouldnt see there still square.

Hmm I think what I saw had a cushion on it, but i cant be 100% sure. Plus I dont believe they had to poke holes in the roof or anything of that nature. There is visible smoke damage now, but I dont see holes in the roof unless there on the back side. Maybe if I see it folded then I would know for sure.

Typically an engine and a ladder/quint, but sometimes just a quint. Now if its an apt complex, the other night they sent 2 ladders/quints, 2 pumpers and eventually a rescue truck showed up, just as rehab truck I believe. 1 AMR Ambulance. 2 Police. Oh and Arson Investigation eventually showed up. MVA, usually one engine, AMR Ambulances as needed, and usually 3 cop cars staffed with one officer each. Active Shooter, I think PD sort of sets up a parameter depending on whats going on. If its near a school Schools are locked down. Then SWAT shows up in either a SWAT Truck(an old bank car pretty much), or they may arrive in patrol cars. SWAT then handles the shooter. The cases I am thinking of were more like potential shooters then active shooters. Explosion, pretty much every police unit on duty ranging from Evansville Police, Sheriffs, State Troopers, and even Indiana Conservation Officers believe it or not. Any avaliable LEO is there. Then fire trucks as needed, and ambulances as needed. What does your town do for high speed chase?

Well thats the funny thing about the city, in some ways it seems like a big city, and other ways its a small town. Our downtown is horrible though. Tons of one way streets, and some even turn into 2 lane streets. One intersection actually has 2 one ways meet 2 two way street. Try figuring that out lol. But yes I guess the best way to put it is I am trying to find just the right balance between having enough variety while also trying to present the challenge of emergency management in a small to midsize town. At the same time this presents a challenge because, for example, our police department doesnt have a copter, but I feel like certain events rely heavily on it. Plus if a mission patch is made, it will be needed for evacuation and such on some missions. -
Just go to File->export. Save it as a 3ds file. If you mean you want the uv-map to export to, I have no idea. Not sure it can.

Well I posted this awhile back. Never finished touching it up, probably tomorrow. ShaneGreen and all of those that worked on the Vintage AMR gave me permission to use there AMR skin. It will likley have a small touch up which will put it back to a white roof as our AMRs do not have any markings on top, but otherwise it will be the same. Ambulance wise you wont have much to choose from for transport. AMR Vintage and AMR Box Style. Sorry folks, but not every city can have 5 different types of ambulances None the less Vintage will be BLS and Box style will be ALS. In real life, AMR uses both styles for both BLS and ALS so for the games sake it was easier to split duties this way. -

Ahh I see what ya mean Mikey. Here is the finished ISP(Indiana State Police) CV. Added the hood stripe, and touched up the color a bit. The blue had a little to much purple in it where as the hood was a direct cut and paste from a pic so i changed the side to match the hood a bit more. I also noticed I didnt get one door all the way on above, so i fixed that. http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/2390/ispcv1.jpg And 2 pics of the real unit for comparison: http://img195.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=1322...465d9887974.jpg -

The whole tail end? I present Indiana State Police Crown Vic 1 - This will double as a slick top model and also a fully marked unit with an Arjent Light Bar. I just realized I have to add the text to the windshield and a sort of v shape on the hood. -
I hated SWAT 4. I liked the original SWAT game where you commanded a whole SWAT team.
