I do see one small error, I dont know that this would cause the problem but in the instructions.txt I stated to insert the lifeguard truck above the coroners van. Thats the wrong place. Remove it and place it above this line instead: <vehicle prototype="mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/02 LA Fire Department/heavy_equipment_squad.e4p" count="2" />

I would focus on the RAM for now. I would think you would need some old DDR RAM, which should be cheap these days. With out more info its hard to say for sure but this would likley work. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820231047 The integrated video chip sucks but it may get the job done barley, as I believe I ran EM4 on the same video chip 7 months ago. I would also make sure you have the latest drivers. Install these drivers: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...-1&impid=-1 http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...-1&impid=-1 http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...-1&impid=-1 http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...-1&impid=-1 Download and install. Should you get any errors then you dont need to install that particular driver.

Yes it is. It just involved editing the shortcut. Search the LA Mod forum for the instructions and modify them to suit your needs.

Has any one tried EM4 in Win 7? I dotn for see it being an issue but just checking.

Yep and its not going to happen sadly. I came down with food poisoning from Subway, so i havent felt to good today. I did what James suspected to be the problem(the unit images were to big) and it doesnt seem to be the case. Since no one else has stepped up to attempt to help me solve this minor bug, I guess I will release this as a beta version tomorrow. I would do it tonight but I need to touch up the install instructions. To make this easy on people, it will come in an exe file that wil copy the needed files, but your still going to have to edit a few files manual but as long as you can read,as well as copy and paste it shouldnt be hard. Official Beta Release Tomorrow 100% for sure!

So just reskin the lightbars and in the editor change the corona type to blue instead of red. Just a tip, look good so far.

^I could be wrong but i think they use Ford Expeditions for the most part now. The light bars are called highway bars I think.

BTW, the script isnt really hoppahs anyways, it was from EM4/911FR, and like myself he edited it to suit his needs. Update: Now I dont want to lock my self in to a release date here because that hasnt worked out so well for me So instead let me say this, I think there is a 90% chance of release today. I got the random unit script working! The truck is now in game. The Guards are now in the game. The only true bug left is that I can put guard in the truck but the unit images arent functioning quite right in the dispatch screen, but thanks to james I am pretty sure I know what the problem is!

The best thing I have found to do, is update your video cards drivers to the latest. You can go to nvidia.com and try your luck there as they have an automated driver search, but if your running an ATI card, or a something like an Intel Integrated video chip, it wont do you any good.

Thanks mikey been noticing a similar problem, although I do believe i tried most of those things, i will double check in a bit. Thats why i think its best to use imageshack. You can get something for windows that will allow you to right click and image, and upload it to imageshack right from windows. Nice work Bama.

@Ami89E1234, its only proper to see it in imax. I have wondered...we only have one IMAX screen and it was built as an addition to the 20 screens the theater already housed. The regular theaters the rows are quite roomy, and should you sit up in the top back corner, you can see fine, but in the imax theater the rows are noticeably thinner as theres not as much leg room, and you cant hardly see over the rail should you sit up in the back corner. It also seems that you dont have a clear view of the screen as peoples heads are sort of visible. Is it just ours or are your IMAX like this to. Quoted for truth.

Well I was only planning to be gone 2-3 hours today but that turned into about 8 hours. So Im to tiered to work on it tonight. So hopefully tomorrow works out. James fixed the problem with getting the truck on the map, but neither of us could seem to get the unit script to work like the LAPD unit script where it randomly chooses a male and female, so chances are I will set this up to where you choose male or female guards in the truck.

Well I dont recall the games minimum requirements off hand, but technically speaking, the Celeron is a weak processor. Its the weakest processor made by Intel. If its a Celeron Dual Core then its a step up from a Celeron, but still a very weak processor in the grand scheme of things. I am not saying it is to weak to Run EM4, but in this day and age anything lower then a Core 2 Duo(in the Intel line up) isnt worth the money in most cases. The celerons arent bad for netbook applications, but generally speaking I would run nothing less then a Core 2 Duo these days.

Its got a 7.0/10 on IMDB with almost 10,000 votes. I personally thought it was awesome. A few people even clapped when it was over. The only thing that sucked was sometimes things were moving so quick and the camera was so zoomed in you could not see some of the transformations very clearly.

I think its the same lightbar from the charger, with a slight reskin to it. He must have chopped it off himself and either attached it to the models or just made it a child.

james was kind enough to work out the bugs to an extent. I just have to touch up the dispatch pics and its ready to go. When NFK gets me the realistic lights they will replace the LED set up thats going to come stock on the truck, but the LED set up will still be up for download, and CFD will be doing a light package as i stated above. I hope to have enough time to get this released tomorrow.
