Car? Thats a full fledged fire truck. No wonder it was wrecked. I have driven a semi before,(with no trailer attached) and it while its not extremely hard drive at typical speeds in low traffic environments, I can imagine how easy it would be to crash one of these trucks at high speeds.

Mike, if i may what are your thoughts on that? Im not familar with the area but i would think the trucks deserve to have red lights and sirens as surley these trucks have to travel major road ways dont they?

Mike do all departments use those? Is it strictly affect cameras? Like if your next to an LAPD cruiser in traffic would you be able to see the screen clearly?

Yeah it depends on how long you hear the siren for as theres a few different tones but for the most part the constant wail is the same, atleast here it is. I would imagine in some places the PD and EMS use completely different sounding sirens.

They already have hand helds and cb radios in there vehicles, why the need for more communication? Espicaly something that big.

^depends where you live but there is no mistaking a Federal Q so if you here a Q you know its a fire truck. As for police and ambulances sounding the same, yes, maybe in some places but i dont know if its enough to classify the whole country into using the same sirens.

Is the Jail at the LASD building?

Have you tried anything in the FAQ forum? On top of that you may have to use the compatibility wizard to make it run like WinXP or Vista..

^your missing the point. Yes in the game perhaps so, but here were referring to real life. In this case your setting up portable water cannon with a steady water supply to attack the fire enough to where its not going to spread.

I notice the difference. I dont use the foam tender gernally but once i was out of other trucks and sent it in for a structure fire in freeplay and it seemed to knock the fire out much faster then what your ALS or BLS Engine would. If your referring to the fact it is a ladder only and has no hose connections, well not all larders have hose connections.

Thats would be awesome. I would keep the pd station the same building, just redesin the banner for TDS to be LAPD instead and please leave the fire station set ups like you have them. Its great to see them done in a new manner that none of the maps for the LA Mod have done. There desing(well for the lot) has gotten boring. No offense hoppah. I dont have any suggestions off hand, just keep up the good work!

Im pretty sue the LAX and Foam Tender both have a better deck gun then the rest of the engines, but generally speaking the LAX Crash Tender is so big it takes awhile to reach its destination and time is crucial so its not really suited for typical first responders case. In the wasted time things could easily get out of control. I believe those 4 are the only trucks primarily used for fighting fire. You have things like the LES/HES qhich can transport back up to the scene and carry equipment but they wont fight the fire for you like the engines,LAX, and foam tender.

Try going to the edit menu and find floor, and import map floor.

lol all kidding aside, that would be cool actually. I think it adds variety to not only respond to typical civil MVAs but MVAs where emergency vehicles and personnel are involved.

I like Forest Firers, gives you a chance to bust out the USFS trucks.
