First off make sure you use the edit button. Secondly, this isnt a support topic. Third, notice the suggestions thread is locked and warnings may result for giving suggestions. Fourth, read the Technical Help FAQ and that may resolve the crashes if you follow the instructions. Fifth, check the tutorials section. Mikesphotos made a thread about altering your free play events. Sixth, last but not least, every little action requires scripting weather it be a little or alot and as Jab pointed out such a function would probably require quite a bit of scripting.

So whys this in the EM3 section? You cant download the mod, or cant install the mod? We are not mind readers ya know. Some detailed information would be helpful.

Well aside from Tim from the NY Mod I cant think of any one else on the forums that can make the things you do possible. I just hope you can get the tiller 100% functional before the release of 1.9%

Yes the scout can detect them. Pretty sure its in the tips menu or something like that. -
Better yet is to install a second copy of the LA Mod, leaving it alone aside from adding submods if you would like to use some of the units in the LA Missions.

Precisely what I was aiming for. Low/high polygons as far as the game is concerned/handle. I wasnt that worried about it, just seeing if I was right None the less, yes I can completely understand where your coming from, and that was a good idea down sizing the textures for the civi cars.

^they may have more polys but there still not considered high polygon correct?

Unless you have quite extensive knowledge of C++ I woudlnt waste my time. Hell I know a little C++ but couldnt dream of scripting the things Hoppah has done.

Have you given the boat and the carrier all the right commands?

Last I checked the current models were all low polly.

Welcome City man. As stan has pointed out this aint the best place to ask for help. Anyways, most of the people with experience are busy working on mods right now. To top that off, if you cant really do anything for your self, weather its making the models, skinning them, putting lights on them, making scripts,etc, then chances are your not going to find some one or some ones who are going to sit back and make a mod for you. If you can bring something to the table you may find people more willing to help out. Furthermore, usually, the best mods are made when some one involved actually has knowledge of one or more of the departments in question. For example the LA Mod is made by Hoppah, who is from the Netherlands, i believe, and doesnt really have much knowledge of the internal working of the LA Emergency services, but Mikesphotos has been kind enough to lend his expertize on the inner working of the LA Emergency services to Hoppah to help maintain the realism factor. In the mean time enjoy the LA Mod and the NY Mod that is nearing completion I believe.

^thats a crane, now a wrecker/tow truck. I believe there was a crane in EM3 if thats what your looking for. It would be in the tec menu, otherwise the flatbed truck in the fire menu will haul the semi off for you.

To use the LA vehicles in the original 20 missions you need the mission patch. Its in the bug thread for the LA Mod I believe.

It depends, some times you can skip 3ds, but this has been discussed alot lately on the forum.

It might be possible but so far no one has scripted such a function. The only solution may be to decrease traffic on certain paths. -
You can but bmp is a completely uncompressed image format, so while it offers better quality pictuers, it also makes for much much larger file sizes. PNG is similar. JPG offers a reduced quality picture but a much smaller file size.

They have bad service for not wasting time with kids(no offense jab) emailing them to download there product as a game, which they obviously have no intention of selling to the general public? Personally I dont see the problem..

w00ds, i cant be asked to make a screen shot, but if i recall correctly the bus stop in question is towards the bottom left corner of the map. I have played the map atleast 5 times, probably more, but i would say something like 2/5 times the bus stopped at the buss stop and would not proceed on its path. The other 3 times I had no problems with the bus stop. I might actually play now actually, so if I do I will post up a screen shot if it happens, and post one of the location regardless. -

I will look into the bus stop fix ASAP. I to have had some major traffic head aches over that stupid bus. -
As NFK said yes it does, but just a suggestion, make multiple installs of the LA Mod. I have one with the Brush,HES,BC,and EMS Sup parked outside the back of station 1, and then another copy for w00ds second map. This way you can have a copy for multiplayer that would be standard so theres no compatibility issues with multiplayer.

I agree on the Carbon Motors. I LOVE The Indiana State Police demo unit on the sites main better. It was discussed here before and mike shot it down for many reasons if I recall. Price and parts availability being two reasons.
