If you know how to make your own operating system on it, you certainly can, but otherwise you can use any linux/unix distro, Windows or Hackintosh.

Well I would think it would be possible in either station, you would just have to alter the model of the fire station bay to allow it to fit. Then alter the gates to the height of the adjusted openings. I do as well but we only have 3 in the city, but there all rescue trucks. I thought DX11 cars were set to release this year? Well yes, it can be more expensive depending on what you put in it, but most of the time, for what ever budget you set aside for a prebuilt, you will get more bang for your buck from a prebuilt. Plus it gives you a since of satisfaction and accomplishment to build your own. On top of that building a PC is almost like a big lego kit, except everything pretty much fits one way and one way only. Just dont force anything. If something doesnt fit, then it probably doesnt belong there.

The game loads fine, but it refuses to run in full screen mode. The game options are set at 1680x1050, just as my desktop resolution is, but it has black bars on the side(like watching a wide screen movie on a standard tv, except the lines run up and down rather then from side to side). Drivers are up to date, and I am using the drivers from Nvidia rather then the Windows update drivers. Although both driver sets have the same problem. I tried making it compatible with XP, but that didnt work either. Dxdiag and log file included if some one can help! I havent gotten to play in like 2 weeks, and anxious to play again. This problem only started when I updated to Windows 7. Even tried a clean install of the game, with no luck.

Wow i made the plunge to Windows 7 now, and its amazing! When i initially tried it it did run faster then vista but didnt consume much less RAM. I can see this has now changed as it uses about 15-25% less ram if memory serves me right. However I can not seem to get EM4 Deluxe to run in full screen under Windows 7. Any ideas?

Good question. In the end all you have to do is edit freeplaybase.xml but if hoppah made an exe script to choose which ones to install that would be nice, but i question how easily that could be accomplished. Maybe not easy but would be quite time consuming as I would think he would have to make an xml for every variation of units and that would be a pia imo.

Dosedmonkey is right Why do you need 4 people do sound and research? This is the easiest part of all. You should be able to get these done with one to two people. The only thing you need a second person for really is some one with actual knowledge of the local Emergency services. Some one like a Mikesphotos. As for 4 people to model and script, your setting your expectations way to high. Your going to be very lucky to get 1-2 people to help in each department as most people that have these skills are quite busy. Keep in mind most mods have been made by a team of about 3-4 people total with contributions from others here and there. The LA Mod was made almost exclusively by Hoppah with some contributions here and there, and alot of input from Mikesphotos.

How far did you fall? I fell about 20 feet out of a tree when i was young and landed on a tree root. It knocked the wind out of me and I broke L3,L4,and L5 in my lower back causing me to miss my last football game of the season. Funny thing is my parents tried to give me a guilt trip to play the game not realizing the bones were broke untill later that evening. We finished the game, every one went home and cleaned up before going to the pizza party and then my mom took me to the ER. They felt pretty bad about there guilt trip after that lol.

Is it an LA Mod map? If you want the fire houses to function as they do on the current maps, then you will have to add virtual objects to the map.

or why not make one your self? Its super easy.

The sounds quality obviously isnt the greatest in the grand scheme but for under $25 there a great investment and offer some nice bang for the buck from the sub as well.

The suggestion thread is closed for a reason. Besides that Hoppah has said (for now) the restrictions of the game will not allow him to do that as (for lack of a better way to phrase it) the officers can not have any more commands.

Same for me, well when i tried youtube and google. Try the local news websites. I have gotten several good videos from the local tv stations online video sections and the local newspaper does some video clips to. Then use a firefox extension called "DownloadHelper" to download the videos as flash(flv files) and use VLC Media Player to play them back on your PC. My complaint, our local news outlets are IDIOTS. For example: "Fire crews from German, Perry and Marrs Townships along with McCutchanville Fire worked to douse the flames. Several volunteer firefighters are on scene, as well." Heres the problem, aside from Marrs Township I know for a fact all of the depts listed are volly companies. Well Scott is volly/career combo. So of course there are going to be volunteer ffs on scene. Hell just earlier in the day Perry set up there quint on top of a busy over pass near the city university. Hoisted the ladder and displayed a huge flag http://www.14wfie.com/global/story.asp?s=11116111 and the reporter original said Perry was part of the Evansville Fire department. While I dont expect our news reporters to be obsessed with fire department workings like some of us, but if your a professional journalist atleast get your facts straight. Then again our local news outlets cant report facts to save there lives. I know this from personnel involvement with stories that made the news.

Nice work, only thing i see missing is the outlines of the doors. Other then that I see some great art work.

So what are you to doing for the mod? Scripts? models? uv-mapping? map making?
