Police Chase just ended. Listened in on the scanner after I heard a cop blast the siren a few times, kills siren and floored it down the street as theres about 2 miles to the next stop light. Evansville PD, Vanderburgh County Sheriffs office, and Indiana State Police were in pursuit. Chase started on I164, Stop Stick went out at an interchange. Suspect took the off ramp to avoid the sticks and went right back up on I164. He headed to the highway 41 interchange and took the exit to proceed to Henderson,KY. Dispatch notified EPD and VCSD to back down if it went into Kentucky. They did not tell ISP to back down. Henderson PD and probably Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement as there is a Weigh Station semis there. One of the Indiana departments was able to get stop sticks covering both lanes of HWY41 just north of the State line where they got him. It was for a stolen car I believe. Chase lasted atleast 10 minuets.

^bad. I already have the 860, why would I want to downgrade to a 920? The only advantage I see is the the upgrade path to Core i9s, and right now to little is known about the Corei9s to say much about them. I have high hopes for the i9s but time will tell.

Graphics and skins are 2 different things. Personally I havent noticed the blur.. As for sirens, they should work just fine as I dont think Shane added any new sirens to the mod. I think he means skins.

Just follow the directions and do it in the editor. The script will work just fine.

Thats the first I heard of the redirect problem on the old map...must be something in the code changes for 1.9 since it worked fine in 1.8.

For water rescue are LAFD/LACoFD Rescue Boats launched at a boat ramp or do the boats respond from a station located at a port? If there launched at a boat ramp, what vehicle is used to transport the boats? Do any apertures have the capacity for a diver to suit up in route to a location?

Interesting. I knew they had a deal on the 920s but didnt know it was that cheap.

Just install it and try it. If not post a dxdiag and logfile and we will pin point the problem and get it fixed. Same for others that cant get it to load on this laptop. I suggest making sure your video card drivers are up to date and go look at the FAQ forum first.

The 920 is cheaper by about $1. Then look at mobo and ram costs. Then its more expensive. The mobos will support dual x16. There not out yet but there working on them. Everything will be going over to DX11. I agree, the old alienware cases were much better. lol it does look like a rip off but a good one. It wasnt a flame, not in my case atleast. Ask Sixteen Tons. From the sounds of it this is something to do with the game, and theres nothing we, the end user, can do unless we reverse engineer the game files, find the code thats bugged and fix it.

Thats debatable. Considering I highly doubt you have bothered looking at cases, its hard to say that isnt it? Actually it looks better then most of the current Alienware cases. As for time, you cant sacrifice an hour or two, even over the course of a few days? Not true. Maybe for a few rare apps/games, you might but so far I havent found any such instance unless you need to run an old school 16 bit game on Win 7 x64. What M$ doesnt mention is its actually a virtual machine, and not just some built in feature. So if you need such an app I prefer Vmware personally as I couldnt ever get my Virtual PC to boot using the pos M$ virtual pc app(forgot the name). The 860 outperforms the 720 in every benchmark possible except memory bandwidth, and its cheaper. Unless you really need 6 GB of RAM minimum, I dont see a need for the x58 unless you plan to go for a Core i9 soon. Plus mobo manufactures are already working on p55s to support dual x16 slots vs a 16x and 8x slot. As for the video card, heres the way i see it: 295 1)End of life 2)DX10 3)Slower 5970 1)Beginning of Life 2)DX11 3)Faster So why try to save $50 when your getting all that for $50 more?
