  1. LOL I must have missed that. Thats about the time i turned it of to go to bed. I always miss the good calls when I dont listen lol. I missed a bomb threat at the casino the other day. Bomb Squad called in because a guy left his briefcase in the lobby while using the restroom shortly after the threat. Turned out to be coincidence. Tonight, we were waiting on my neighbor to come home. She finally gets home and says theres a cop out side. He was parked in the parking lot across the median pointed right at our building. Next thing I know theres 2 more Evansville Police and 2 Vanderburgh County Sheriffs. Turns out his sister in laws friend was brought there ,drunk, by a sheriff after being kicked out of an establishment across the street. Im assuming this is because the jail is over crowded, as to why he was brought there. So anyways he starts raising hell and long story short it took alot of officers to calm him down, and they didnt haul him off despite 2 active warrants. Anyways yes I am aware of the live feed but I was interested in an actual hand held so I dont need internet access to listen to it.
  2. You must have some weird units in canada then
  3. Owen Township Volunteer Fire Department Engine 85 - 1979 Ford F-800/FMC Pumper - 750gpm/300gal http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/1505/en...85ds0869070.jpg This rig was donated to the department by the nearby Alcoa Plant in 2002. Note it's unique hose bed that lays across the top ofthe rig with sideways access instead of the rear. This was likely designed to make it easier to pull hose in the tight quarters of the industrial plant. 4. Check the tutorials section.
  5. For orientation, theres not really a precise way, just point and click till its the way you want it. As for one emergency, takes the fun out of it to me, but look in the tutorials section on how to modify freeplay.
  6. Jab, you were right. After doing some research looks like there are several Tac talk groups available for the various county fire agencies around town.
  7. If you need the Catalyst Control Center (for fine tunning) then go with the full set. Otherwise the driver should do fine.
  8. Buy the Raidoshack one? Nice but seems pretty pricey. Only problem with that is it doesnt pick up the channels I need.
  9. If you want help, follow the advice given, or dont bother asking.
  10. Thats not a bad idea actually. I MIGHT see if I cant come up with something, but no promises.
  11. You could say thats a page out of my handbook as well. Sounds like a quote out of some of my posts. Seemed smart ass considering the context; Surely you know the old saying, Its not what you say but how. For example, Smart: How would an ambulance bassically making right turns every few intersections around and around and around a fire station help response times at all? Blunt: An ambulance bassically making right turns every few intersections around and around and around a fire station would not help response times at all. Thanks none the less.
  12. Theres a joke Anyways thanks for the info. Does AMR utilize the Critical Care transport units for all patient transfers or is it as the name implies and only used when a patient is in more critical condition? Does LAPD Bomb Squad SUVs actually have the bomb robots on them? I have seen the Pierce Rescue Truck has a robot on board but never seen pics of the SUV with the robot. Perhaps I over looked them though.
  13. Id try 2009 drivers first. Most of the 2009 drivers for the 4890 work fine up until 4.11 and/or 4.12 I believe.
  14. Know of a reason why? Bug? Eww, I drove one once, it was a total POS(then again it belonged to a teenage girl). It did handle well but I cant see it being much use for a patrol car. Dual Purpose as in..? Command and recruitment I can see, but why did they target the K-9 division? Bigger back seat or something?
  15. I have to use fraps, Prnt Scrn doesnt work for me in game. A crappy paint drawing would probably be more useful then trying to type it out using symbols. If you use the gated wye, this is a known bug.
  16. Just out of curiosity, why would you need this script?
  17. Im a bit ignorant when it comes to scanners, but I was thinking of getting this one: Radioshack PRO-164 1000-Channel Handheld Scanner http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...oductId=2970547 Its the cheapest one at radioshack that seems to pick up EDACS. Im not against getting one online but this seems like the best deal, and has pretty good reviews. Heres frequencies I need to pick up: http://scanevansville.com/edacs.aspx I'd like to be able to pick up all the talk groups, and need good range. Range would be about 30 miles. Thoughts?
  18. I know php, html, css, and some other languages, like XML/XHTML but I would need some info on exactly what the project is for because I dont want to waste time making a site for a mod thats never going to be made or something like that.
  19. Thats a bit harsh when educating people. Excuse me for not being familiar with the geographic location of every station in LA. Whats the usual first due response for a structure fire in terms of trucks? A lightforce and an extra engine for example?
  20. Clear your cache and cookies and try again.
  21. LMFAO, cops pull over this guy, and he claims he has only been driving for 4 years so he didnt know to pull over when the cop was behind him code 3.
  22. No I know what codes are, it was more of a rhetorical question. Aside from typical Code 1-3 responses we dont have any other codes that I have picked up. Ambulances pretty much use the same code system I believe as I heard one of the county ambulances(theres only 2 here, literally 2 ambulances) say there were code 1 to the hospital with 1 patient. AMR pretty much has there own channel that I dont monitor so I am not sure, but i think they have the same code 1-3 structure, well that and maybe Code Blue.
  23. Why are you making a thread then editing it into something different? What about RAM and video card? The makes cant just magically release a patch to make it go faster. This depends on your computer. Try running ccleaner, defrag your hard drive, and if nothing else you might need a stronger video card and/or more RAM.
  24. LAFD uses Ferno 28Z PROFlexx gurney chair/cot or the PROFlexx Model 93-PST “heavy lift gurney.” http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=7398 Scroll down to the RA section.
  25. I could have sworn you said in your Country? Do you live in China? No. Anyways, country, i live in the USA and it carries. Hard to describe EMS based on the cuntry but lets see here, its pretty much either the fire department provides EMS, or a private company. In terms of country, discussion over. Now if you want to narrow it down to say, city, in that case FD provides first in medical aid until AMR arrives for ALS and patient transfer. Your SD has an ambulance? The only time I really remember seeing ambulances is they were once used for CSI here, and I think they still should be as theyd have far more storage room then the pos jeep Cherokees we use now.
