Do you ever quit bugging authors for updates?! If there were updates they would post them. Sit back and learn a little patient. It's crap like this why I dont waste my time coming here everyday anymore.

Just because its modeled on there doesnt mean you add the command and your good to go in this case. I have tried adding the redirect command to both the cab and the trailer with no luck. I would love to know where you got 25 seconds. Unless your running a Core i9 and SSDs on SATA III ports with a hardware RAID card. I have one of the fastest, if not the fastest pc on the forum (Core i7 860,4GB RAM,ATI 4890,2x80 GB Intel SSDs G2 in RAID 0- Software) and it takes just under a minute to load the stock LA Mod.

I gotta ask, whats the point of making the slicktop into a regular marked unit when we already have one in game?

What video card are you running? I have an ATI 4890, and couple that with SSDs,Core i7 860 and 4 GB RAM, I havent any doubt my system will handle it just fine, but just curious to see what cards your running.

Most cities are much larger then the area represented in the LA Mod map. Id say it represents a bit more then that, but I agree with your general statement. Theres no codding evolved. You simply go in to the editor and had commands. Its just point and click. You just need to knwo what commands would need to be added to what person/car, and its super simple, just a little time consuming.

He is using Hoppah's models from EM3. They were low quality models and skins compared to EM4 because, well he was inexperienced and further more we didnt have all the tools available to us that we have now.

Could you be any less specific? Open the DDS file? Open another format converted from the DDS? What app? mspaint doesnt open dds files, but photoshop,gimp and paint.net will.

Be careful not to over do it. If your doing weight lifting, talks to some of the people studying physical therapy and such. They can give you tips. Dont work the same muscle groups. For example, do upper body one day, lower body the next. You can do upper body 2 days in a row, but your best to work different muscle groups if you choose to do that. And being strong wont hurt your endurance so long as your not pumping steroids, and you do things for endurance in addition to weight lifting.

No, I am not working on the mod. Well not seriously. I may make an installer, may make it compatible with SG Submod, and so forth down the line, but dont have any immediate plans.

Converting the missions would be possible, I would think, but ultimately it's Hoppahs call as to what he adds or removes to the LA Mod.

Has the fog light command been removed from the tiller? I never could understand why it was on there if theres o floodlights. Perhaps redirect would be more useful.

" Better then what, LA Mod for EM4? FBI has Grey CV. Awesome. I already knew this, but sure, great! Secret Service has an SUV in LA Mod for EM4. Your point? The grey cv, is the same car as the em4 model I assume, just reskinned. Your point? "I like the police flashlights too. And I like if is car damaged it can't be rided and immediately explode. " Want a cookie? As for your fixes, I doubt it. And even if there are things that can be fixed, perhaps Hoppah has them for a reason.

No, its still useless..really who cares. What difference does it make if the dog sounds like a sheep? As stupid as some suggestions are, atleast theres a slight bit of logic(example:They see a hummer on CSI and think its real). This, on the other hand quite possibly qualifies as the dumbest thread ever on the forum, atleast since I been around.

You need to increase the size of the virtual object. Oh and the large rescue ambulance is to big to fit into the fire stations.

BTW what francis means by comment, if you diidnt know is put a // at the start of the line. If you need to do many lines put /* on the starting line, at the beging of the line. Then after the last piece of code you dont want activated, put */

I suggest looking at the SG Submod to see how he spawned the cops and cars at the police station. Its in the LAfirestationstart.script and I believe lafirestation.script.

It does turn, but there have been times where it does seem to stick and will not rotate, but i assure the function is there. As for using it for rescue attempts, Hoppah hasnt been able to create a straight stick ladder that can perform rescues, YET. I am sure one day he will, but just not right now.

And? Is your computer exactly the same as your testers? Same hard ware? Same drivers? Same thing down to every program installed? No? Then nothing is for certain.

Leaving Gamestop last night, I here a siren. See a cop or sheriff. Next thing I know I see a 1987 Spartan/FMC Pumper followed by a 2007 Mack MRU612/Ferrara Rescue Pumper, and to top it off a 2006 Ford F-350/Omaha Utility cab in the bed. I then see a ton of smoke. Its coming from a CVS Pharmacy parking lot. I stop at the gas station across the street well out of the way and watch for a few. By the time I left there was 2 or 3 EPD there and about another 6 Sheriff cars, not to mention a county FD EMS Supervisor, and a AMR Ambulance. Turns out a guy had a seizure, hit 3 parked cars, and then his engine started smoking, may have even caught fire. FD had to pull the guy out through the window of his car. You guys must have some strict physical requirements as theres some, no perspective intended, fat firefighters here. Im not talking about older guys who have gotten a bit chunky with age, im talking big ol guts and cant see there toes.
