When playing the mission "hacker causes total blackout" there is no way to arrest all loooters. They arent marked, and even if you try to catch all you saw, later in the mission comes "The looters are about to escape" and not long from here, came ends because you did not catch the looters.

Ambulance stand-by varies by jurisdiction. You hardly see something like that in Northern Europe or North-America. By the way, does anyone know what do these warning lights you can turn on do in the game?
-
It is not just about saving lives. Trying to save personal property can be priceless to someone. Getting photos of your dead daughter, your long gone mother or the pet you had by your side for fifteen years. Or by chance, saving valuable work or somethng like it.
-
What? Because? You base your statement on argument? Yeah, usually someone monitors the pump, but in the game is not modeled. Yeh, someone also does the leading as a chief, but in the game, not modeled. So your point was?
-
Sometimes people get stranded, even more in voluntary stations where people are on a home-call basis. In our station every now and then I get to stare the back lights of the engine, but no one ever yells me about that. It happens to everyone, tough luck. It ain't anyones fault, it is just a necessity sometimes.

And hospitals don't have unlimited staffing and capacity neither.
-
Critically injured people with head trauma, or two people with sprained ankles?
-
Ofcourse ambulances transport multiple people if the injuries aren't that bad. A broken finger on the other and a bloody nose on the other, for example after a car crash. In these cases the patients just sit both on the stretchers. So, this aint the problem, but the problem is that the game does not model slight injuries. Only severe where patients cannot walk nor sit, so as long as the game has only severely injured patients, there is no point adding this. They can lie on the bed simultaneously.
-
Must be damn fun playing the game.
-
More and more ambulances give up on the feature of transporting two patients. And as far as I know, the model represented in this mod arent big enough to transport. THe reason for abandoning multiple-patient transport is simple. If their condition worsens during the trip, there is usually only one EMT or PM to take care of them, and most people only have two hands.

And that would really be useful, yes. You are right. I hate the hassle what wa big motor vehicle accident gives, you must help with everything for the guys, hold hands and tell to take step with right leg, then left and so on. So yes, a cool feature.

So that the ambulance would arrest people and give speeding tickets?
-
Okay, just for you to know, this is a broad question, not a request for a feature? it might have a hidden message, but nevertheless, it is a question. So what I have understood, the main reason that stations do not work in multiplayer is that the rotating cycle bugs out, and it does not run well. So, is it a possibility in the sense of editing, that in the multiplayer the stations work only cosmetically? When player order a ALS Engine, it does not come out of the station like in the freeplay BUT it comes out of the station in the same manner that W00d for example has made the Cityworks in his maps? I mean that the station is a virtual entry point and an exit point for the vehicle? Hospital could work the same way as in single player, but couldn't police and fire stations act in the manner I described? This way the look and feel of the stations could still be there, and cosmetically it would look pretty much the same, so that the vehicles would not run out from the same place! For example, in this drawing I did, I illustrate the idea. The lines represent just the entry and the exit. The different colors would be the different vehicles. For example, with the turqoise colour would be the entry and exit of the BLS Ambulance, and with the blue would be the ALS Engine. Green could be the ladder truck. In this way the stations could be unique in the way you get units. Brown could be police vehicles only. One of the problems is the thing that if both stations have ALS Engine entry and exit, im not sure if it works, and can the game differ is it the closer one? Im not even sure can you add multiple entry points for the same vehicle?

Like I have always said, my countrymen aren't that bright. They have below average IQ, and all they do is bash americans about their alleged stupidity.

Most of the CHP vehicles look good. I love most of the american ones, but there are some other in the world i like. Swedish police Volvos. They look awesome. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3201/236696..._5d0549b3c2.jpg And finnish police black Ford Mondeos. They have the lights behind the grill. http://www.fireimages.net/albums/userpics/normal_X282~0.JPG

Usually. Lower resolution means less pixels to render, and thus less work for the graphics unit. But sometimes it is easier for the card to run the same resolution as the desktop, and some cards even have easier time rendering a set resolution, no matter is it lower or bigger than the desktop. But yes, the answer is yes. Usually.

I also hate these all "oh yeah THEY are so stupid hoppah so right." They are like the kids in the school who donät have the courage, but when they seee someone bullying someone, they back the bully up, because then they feel big too. Not comparing anyone to bully here, but comparing to the backing guys.

Submod: New Freeplay Map Second Edition - update
Sgt.Wulf replied to w00d's topic in Submods [Not released]
How do you play this map in multiplayer? -
When you start your game, press F12, DEL or whatever key that gets you to the BIOS. In the bios you can see the temperature. Temp readings can be find at "PC Health Status" or something else, depends on the make and model.

In my opinion, the firefighters should be able to CHANGE their gear in a truck. Im not sure about LA, but atleast in the countryside towns that have sea or some other water near them, mostly keep SCUBA-gear in regular trucks and change to them if necessary. It might be different in LA, but atleast the USAR should be able to change into SCUBA in the USAR truck.
-
And what about protecting property?
-
So you folks had any games yet?

And, what some people always don't realise, is that ladders are hardly meant for fighting high-rise fires. The reach of ladders is rarely more than 100ft, and mostly under that. Firefighting seldom is the main motivation for ladder-trucks. There are a bunch of tasks for ladders, starting from fires to traffic accidents. Usually they are used also in medical calls. - With the crane or the ladder of the vehicle, one can lift wrecks, debris and patients from hard-to-reach places. Most of them have hook-points for chains and ropes, and with them, even special stretchers are easily lifted. -Storm damage. There are escaping roofs, almost-fallen trees, rotten trees and what not. The long reach of the truck is usually well-suited for these jobs, when removing or cutting. -Medical calls. After all, the men inside are firefighter/EMT's and usually the trucks are fitted with all the same gear as ambulances, minus stretchers. Ladders usually are more times free than reserved when compared to other trucks, so in many places and countries they are thought to be fit to handle other tasks aswell when they are free. They can also help with extracting patients from the most absurd places. -Rescue of both humans and other animals fron high/low places. -Fires. Well yeah, the firefigher with the fogfighter nozzle is usually the awesome pumping power. One can also use trucks for insertion of firefighters to roofs and upper floors of a house. And imagination is the ceiling when thinking about what you can do with these.
