A special squad response operator usually uses something of a blue overall, black helmet, black body armor and combat boots. You just can't get that much difference in them.

Finland mod Lohja city (In-Progress/Reopened)
Sgt.Wulf replied to olevinaa's topic in Conceptual Modifications
Those vector lights on top of the fire engine are supposed to do a sliding effect, starting from right to left. and back. Then starting all over again, not blinking simultaneously. -
We do not even have doctors in this mod?
-
Not too many choppers out there where you can fit four victims and treat them.
-
The Fire and EMS staging at the end of the calls is a good one, why should it be removed. Also, if you do get a female voice, it would be good if you mix them up a bit. That not all of the voices are female.
-
Looking at the submod section, I doubt there is any single mod as important as this is. This adds the LA atmosphere to the game, making each call a bit more realistic, not just adding blinky lights and a dozen Crown Victorias. All respect to the other modifications, of course, but this surely deserves to be a submod.

Finland mod Lohja city (In-Progress/Reopened)

http://www.fireimages.net/displayimage.php?pos=-128 Just saying that this is the Engine of the Voluntary Company of Virkkala, a company in Lohja city. It is the same kind of truck as the L11, only difference being that its callsing is LS21. So it should be pretty easy to make without much effort. And I don't know about making the unit L12, as it is only the reserve vehicle for the companies in that area. -
Bunker gear = turnout clothes, as in the outer protective gear used by firefighters. Or is there a joke I don't get?
-
What map is that!?
-
Would it be possible that the strethcer teams of the ambulance sometimes have pieces of the bunker gear on them? Like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/3145795552/in/photostream/ http://farm1.static.flickr.com/202/511757456_bc3b41cfa1.jpg

Why are the BLS ambulances gone? And why can't we get this? http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/3145795552/in/photostream/ http://farm1.static.flickr.com/202/511757456_bc3b41cfa1.jpg That not all of the stretcher teams use only blue gear, but sometimes pieces of the bunker gear.

And one other reason i stopped! I hate the emergency services if they aren't nordic or american! I don't get the point why firefighters can't treat anyone, why ambulances aren't allowed to move when patient gets critical but wait for the doctor. I know that it is realistic, they do these things in real life too. It is not the problem. That is that they do things the hard and stupid way, and being used for the fact that firefighters are all-around workers with knowledge of the whole rescue business, it bugs me to death that you need firefighter to carry the man out, EMT to hold his hand, other EMT to comfort him, a doctor to treat him, another doctor to consult the other one, paramedic to tell jokes, another paramedic to drive, third one to read the manual of the defibrillator, a firefighter to turn the car, EMT to accelerate the car and all these other stupid things. Germans, like other middle-european countries sure know how not to do things.

But we do not have fallen trees, stuck sewers, sinking boats in the pier or something like that as emergencies in the game, so what is the point of sending units without haste?
-
This is not actually a suggestion, but more of an question about possibility or is it un-doable? When looking at the pictures of LAFD, one can see that often the ambulance crew is using some parts of the bunker gear, even while working in the ambulance. The most used combination is the bunker gear pants and a t-shirt, but sometimes you see bunker coats without helmet and sometimes the normal blue clothes, but a yellow helmet on head. What I am asking if that would be possible that there is a random factor in the stretcher teams of the ambulance, that sometimes they have bunker pants, sometimes bunker jackets, sometimes the other one is wearing whole bunker gear, while the other is wearing none and such, just like there are female and male police officers? As it seems a bit repetitive as the ambulance stretcher teams always wear the blue clothes without any variation.
-
No they weren't. Many of them were wounded, as were civilians, but the only deaths were Matasereanu and Phillips.
-
Why is none of the stretcher teams using any bunker gear? Usually at least someone on board of an ambulance is using parts of the bunker gear. Sometimes you see the other one is using only the pants, sometimes someone is using only the jacket. This way it would look a lot more cooler and realistic.
-
Might I ask what is the reason for removing BLS ambulance from the station two?
-
The action "stabilize" is reserved for the EMT-certified people in this mod. If police officer isn't an EMT, but he can stabilize, it would rip the reason to have any fire personnel that is not EMT.
-
Yeah, the real shooting does not even begin before the clip ends.
-
This is the addition to the LA MOD that really makes the game worthwhile.

Does anyone know where to find the whole dispatching radio chatter audio from the North Hollywood shootout?
-
Nothing. Just follow the instructions and do the same. Everything gets changed as should. Only problem is that if there is a deluxe event, you will see the old face. It should not be hard to make a deluxe version, Heyjoojoo. Just ask what events the deluxe have, and add them as normal. Normal game users wont notice them, but deluxe will. There is no problems between the version, only that deluxe has a bit more. And by the way, if you want to, I can provide you for some female voices. At the moment I am not able to mask them as radio, but if you have the possibility, I could give you some female dispatching voices as the clear raw materials. Then you can link to the video and mask the voice.
-
Sounds very nice! Good job! Just remember to call Engines to most of the medical calls also, as the LAFD uses engines on most of the medicals! And you can simulate an "ambulance vacuum" by calling an engine only to some low minor incident, simulating the fact the dispatcher is sending the engine at the time he is seeking for a suitable ambulance!

Now I dare to draw a line between first aid and emergency care.
