I ban you for unbanning people and not following the rules of the game
-
I'm glad I could provide some entertainment lol And, to make matters worse, they had JUST gotten rid of almost all the holding calls and they needed 4 Ambulances to a house fire in the heart of the city. Engine 21 was first on scene, and requested the Balance of the Assignment for a working house fire, then reported they were throwing a ground ladder to remove 2 victims from the second floor front, and there were reports of 2 more persons inside. All said, fire was small but smokey, and 4 victims were removed by the Buffalo Fire Department

I ban you because I'm grouchy from not yet having a coffee. HA!

Easy there, you leave Canada alone mister! lol That first Southwest Medical ambulance (0605) looks like Niagara EMS' rigs. Not the newest group, but, the semi-old ones lol... they dont have 4 grille lights tho lol

THATS intense lol In Buffalo right now, Ambulance Dispatch and Inspection (ADI) is holding I think 2 or 3 calls... and assault, and MVA, and a Difficulty breathing Considering at 00:01, 1/1/10 they erased all the (run) cards, and the last ambulance that cleared had a card of 17 (at 02:19), meaning there have been over 17 calls (thats the 17th to be cleared) in a little over two hours... And now they're holding two more... a person down, and another i didnt catch.. and now another assault, they're also sending one patient hot (Lights and Sirens) to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), and Buffalo Fire Engine 1's got a call, a stroke patient, that still needs an ambo... craziness... Every transimssion is getting more and more frantic... I really feel for them tonight lol EDIT: Add a Stabbing to that They've got Engines 1, 2, 3 and 21, and Ladder 2 all in a roughly 4 or 5 block area... they're going from call to call... on top of that, they've got 2 or 3 other calls in the city... And now a fall... man, I'm gonna have to turn my scanner off soon... I can't even keep track of who's where.. 2nd EDIT: Well, at 02:46, they're adding 6 new medicals: 3 assaults, an MVA, a Leg Injury, and an Unknown Problem. Ladder 2's victim has a head injury (super-ficial from the sounds of it), and they've been waitin about 10 minutes for an ambulance. Its not ADI's fault, I personally blame the Rural/Metro Corporation. They've been screwing their employees and the City of Buffalo for years, or so I'm told. They aren't leaving enough Ambulances in service to cover the City. However, I don't think all the wine in France'd help tonight, they just added another unknown, and a Chest Pains call. They've also got 2 pedestrians struck, both required Hot transport.. man, I just about lost my coffee... an ambulance asked for Medic back-up, and the dispatcher replied with, "Are you kdding? No. You're goin alone. I'm sorry, but, I've got no one left." Well, the ambo came back with "Jeez, well, thank-you, very much." They're startin to get at each others throats lmfao!!

I've got a Bearcat 72XLT... they're pretty good... light as hell, and you get 100 channels

The Department Chief is Car 1 on air no matter what.. The Dep. Depatment Chief is Car 2... Fire Investigators are Car 3 and Car 4, Fire Prevention Inspector is Car 5, Public Education Officer is Car 6 Station Radios are as follows: (X is station number, 1 - 6) District Chief: X-1 Dep. Dist. Chief: X-2 Senior Captain: X-3 next Senior Capt.: X-4 Junior Capt.: X-5 Then, there are usually 1 or 2 portables on each truck that are designated X-6 through X-8 or -9, that are used for Interior crews, or senior Fire Fighters operating away from other with radios Clear as mud, right? Also, on the accident from last night, it wasn't any of my friends, but one of my best friends knows who it was, and there was at least one fatality

First 2 units have just arrived on scene; **Note, just prior to dispatch, I caught the Ambulances being toned out, and when they sent 2 rigs on a first tone-out, I knew it was serious...** FE P4, R4, HR5, Garrison Road, at Nigh Road, Reported MVC, possible extrication FE Car 2 responding, update to all units from Niagara Regional Police via Control: roads extremely icy and slick, Police advised use ut-most caution. Update (over multiple frantic transmissions): 2 vehicle MVC, multiple patients, Extrication is required, 3 ambulances on location All on location now, advising extremely slippery conditions on scene (more to follow in update) EDIT: I appologise for the double post.. didnt realize anyone else hadn't posted... my bad second edit: Heavy Rescue 5's cleared, Car 2's on his way to Welland to pick up a fire fighter on board an ambulance (life-threatening injuries ) and Rescue 4's in service on scene... I'm pretty stressed out right now, considering a few of my friends travel through that intersection quite often..

Well, without spoling it COMLPETELY, this is scripted. When the 3 parking spaces in front of the Police Station are full and you send a regular patrol car to the station, it'll park there. There's space for two or three Patrol Cars there... I was pretty confused when I saw it too

I missed it, spending Christmas Dinner at a friends house, but, my dad told me when I (just) got home... apparently there was a Vehicle fire in a driveway last night, and when Station 1 District Chief (Portable 1-1) got on location, he was screaming for a second alarm... I didn't even know Fort Erie had protocol for a second alarm vehicle fire... but, I guess it got upgraded to a structure fire... I don't think it did spread to the house tho...

United Nations; the power of multiple countries BTW: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Very nice man, hoppah, you should clone yourselp a few times, and come out with MANY mods lol (Edit) YAY!!! 200th post )

All it takes is taking YOUR siren, and naming it Siren01.wav or Siren02.wav for Fire, Siren03.wav or Siren04.wav for EMS and small Fire Units, and Siren05.wav or Siren06.wav for Police. Then move it to mod\audio\fx\sirens. Its really that simple

So I caught this one today: FE P1, 520 Garrison Road, Between Conssesion and Albert Street, Unknown 9-1-1 Investigation, Pump 1, be advised, Conssesion Road is closed from Bertie to Garrison for the Olympic Torch Relay, please access this call off of Thompson Road.. That made me do a double take lmfao

I'm not sure who said it first, but, in watching the extra features of Ladder 49, Joaquin Phoenix said: "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the realization that there is something more important." I've lived by that philosiphy every day since I heard that. Another favourite of mine: "No, boys. There's two "O"s in Goose." - Goose (Top Gun)

The only problem(s) with the tiller I've found are as follows: 1) You can't enter a building with the Tiller (This is already known, Hoppah said somewhere, just can't remember lol) 2) As the trailer has no physics, if you're trying to poisition the rig, and it 'runs over' another unit, and you install the aerial there, that unit becomes un-usable. Thats all I've found so far. The only other problem I have, which isn't a problem, just an inconvenience, is, you can't double click the truck to get the people out; it detaches the trailer... Again, not really a problem, more or less an inconvenience...
