There's nothing wrong with reskinning. Unfortunately, tho, you can't pawn it off as a submod. I see both sides. Hoppah's worked VERY hard for the past how many years to get his mod to the amazing shape it's in now, and wants the credit he rightfully deserves. Plus, by allowing reskins if new models are included, he's encouraging a fine art. On the other hand, many people don't have the talent to re-skin vehicles, and can get tired of playing with L.A. units. I'm from Canada, near Buffalo, NY, and I've never been to LA. I want to, but I'd personally like to see a more Northern or East coast mod. Nothing against LA or anything. But you're doing a GREAT job so far. Keep it up. Wow, that'd confuse me It's easy here. We have 6 stations in town. Each station has a Pump and a Rescue, except for Stations 2 and 5. They don't have a Rescue, they have Heavy Rescues. They do all the extricating in Auto accidents. Station 1 also has a Boat and a Ladder, Station 3 has a Brush, a Utility, and a John Deere Gator (Painted RED, of course) , Station 4 has a Tanker and a Water Tower, Station 5 also has a Tanker, and Station 6 also has a Boat. As for the Zmodeler, can't help ya, don't know anything about Vista As for the Files; What you need to do is: 1. Rename the .v3o file from example.v3o to 1example.v3o (or similar, just change the name slightly). 2. Rename the .dds file from example.dds to example.v3o 3. Start the editor. Load your Mod 4. Under the mods menu in the Editor, you should see unpack. 5. Unpack the example.v3o (the one that WAS a .dds) 6. Exit the Editor 7. I used some Korean Program, the "Dark Namer" 8. Load the unpacked v.3o file 9. click the button on the left hand side, second from bottom. 10. type ".dds" click ok 11. click the button on the top left 12. click ok, ok (that will turn example.v3o back into example.dds) 13. Go back into the mod folder, and rename 1example.v3o to example.v3o 14. use the .dds converter to change the .dds file into .jpeg, .bmp, etc. Voila! You're done. Clear as mud? By the way, are you guys full time or volunteer?

well, we do, but we call them Brush X, where x is the number. Here in my town, all trucks call signs and names are the type and station number. So, an Engine from Station 2 would be Pump 2. Yes, we call them Pumps lol... and those picks do work... now, if I could just work on getting Zmodeler to like me. I can't figure the damn thing out. I personally think I'd do better at skinning and some basic lighting.

I believe you have to download the 'mission patch v1.8' or something.... not sure though. I was under the impession that it wasnt needed for 911:FR. Guess I was wrong lol

Ohh yeah brother... We've got over 2,500 of our service men and women there, and the Marines are coming in strong to give us a hand lol. We've lost 117 brave soldiers, airmen and sailors. It's nothing compared to the States casualties, but I attended the services for one of our soldiers about a month ago. And listening to his fiancee talk about him, and how the last words he said to her was, "This isn't good-bye. It's I'll see you soon. I love you, babe, and I'll see you soon." That was the single hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. We really need to start rallying support on both sides of this border. It sickens me when kids at school ask me why I want to fight for oil. I tell them it's not about the cause. That's the politicians problems, and the Generals problems. Its about the guys next to you, who want to cmoe home just as badly as you do.

No, I know, it's just that, being military myself, I hate the fact that there are very few big name coporations who actually give back to the soldiers who give their everything for our tomorrow. I mean, without getting started on war itself, which none of my friends will tlak to me about anymore , they're not getting the respect and support they deserve. Just my opinion

looks like the one posted above, but, it also seems to eb an older model, more like a school bus use to be: The year is around an 1982 The front ends look VERY similar. Obviously the chasis would be shorter, it'd be armoured, etc. Did that help at all?
