Which one of the original T.V. series did you like? S.W.A.T is my favorite, as although it was short lived, the music was kickin!

About two years ago TRS, our station, and two units from the airport responded to a leer jet that had crashed over a feild and landed in a stretch of road, plaay mission 19 of 911 FR or EM4 to answer it better (Though it's not as realistic)

O.K. The offical weird call so far has happened yesterday (I had to finish up a shift). We got a call to meet a park ranger at the park for a possible animal attack. We get there and there's a USFS truck and our Technical Heavy Rescue Unit parked near a little road. (TRS is like USAR but is for more advanced rescues, and have more powerful tools) The USFS guys are just standing there and TRS is there and are trying to keep a straight face. The USFS guys had responded to a small fire and the rookie had forgotten to close his door... and wouldn't you know it a big cat (I'm not an animal guy so I wouldn't know what it was) was sitting there on the seat... asleep. And I found the news paper artical on the truck over the guard rail, the artical reads as follows... (No names or locations will be said out of respect for the dead) "Yesterday the traffic was backed up on the******** an Semi-Truck carrying a large quantity fo a local Texico station lost a tire and went out of control, crashing over a guard rail. The truck and it's cargo landed on three cars and caused more accidents, killing 4 Including ************ ***** *** ****- See page A-8 TRUCK OVER RAIL I don't have the rest of the page, sorry.

THe mos intresting I've ever been called to wasa suspect barricaded inside his house. Now you may ask, what's a firefighter/EMT doing inside a hotzone? He had shot his son and taken pictures and thrown them to sheriff's deputies, demanding for someone to come in to save him becausehe regretted it, badly. When I got there it was actually not that bad, but he had barricadd himself in there pretty good, and had music blarring pretty lound, but I digress, as I begged the supervisor in charge to go in because the kid was more then likely critical if not dead. It actually came in handy, after treating his kid he just gave up. Just one more day and something I didn't expect. Without incident the suspect and child lived, the suspect went to jail for about 30 years and that's the end of that! Wow, that's pretty bad. We had one very bad accident where a tank truck rolled off of an overpass and into 4 lanes of traffic and caused a very big fire, pretty much destroyed the overpass to where it almost collapsed from the collosial heat. Sadly there were four fatalities. I'll see if I can get a picture of it, we had had a video but our helmet cam had melted when Ric had dropped it. If you need some help I can overhaul the LA Mod v. 1.8 Freeplay map for 911FR. I made some small tweaks (Mostly just asthetics) but, when I put on the mission patch I had some trouble with it and had to reinstall the mod (opps). Just trowing it out there.

I doubt it. And I take it you saw S.W.A.T., when the helichopter crashed and preluding it, the pilots were to occupied with flying it. But I'm a fire guy, so and live in a small town, so I wouldn't know.

Wasn't thaere a problem with the sirens in the late 60s and through the 70s where when on more then one occasion There were Code 3 cashes where the sirens were too loud or something? I'm working on a new mod for the 60-70s (For Emergency, S.W.A.T. and Adam-120

Odd, the Dept. of public works should respond to that. Also the only "real" way to get rid of trees is to use the recovery crane- Wait Idea, forming... I know, you can use the "Ctrl" Key to make the trees block the road, then the only way to move them is with the firefighter and chain saw. (I'm a genuis) The only problem is is that there will be no roots.

Wow, what a bastard, they rolled one over in Connaticut about five years ago by taking a turn too fast, it was a Pirce Dash 100 ft. ladder completly destroyed the cab nearly crushing the engineer. You should make the kid pay for the new quint. Oh yeah Mike I wanted to ask you something... Did the LAFD ever fully switch from the Crowns and Lafrance units?

It's pretty good, and I'd pay about $25 for it, but I would think that the cost for new equipment comes from the county which comes from taxes. All in all it's good and I'd go out to the store to buy it. Btw that truck getting it's bumper caved in sounds like 4's engineer, he accidencly plowed into a car with his front bumper because he thought the car would pull over. Yet another use for the chrome! EDIT: Monte Christo is okay, but they over use the triggers. THE CONTROL PANEL HAS BEEN BUrNEd THE MACHINES ARE GOING CRAZY! Is entirely stupid as it would have a failsafe. Though FD3 looks better as it is modded after real life.

Like After you've had a few calls and the units get all clustered in the station (It takes forever to rearange them) And then the units just alll go togeter with the drag box method.

Yeah the Caprice had a problem in the middle of it's life I was told. In high spped pursuits or car accidents it would destroy the car's fuel system and a fire or explosion would result. And as for the unit packages. True, they are called out but I guess I was unclear. I'm talking about withen the station, the multiple select function is somewhat unreliable and will select units I don't want. I ment when you click on the remove roof button that you could call a unit or more then one unit out in a dispatch. Sorry, that was my bad.

Hey another little bug, after a while al of the SED snipers are in the air and will not come down. Is there a fix for that?

Or you could watch the entire second season of Emergency, (I remebered the episode and just looked for an excavation site, I love that show )
