  1. there is no PD station on the map
  2. thx, thats right... as you can see in the screenshot of the configurator not possible to put them into wrong truck because they cant enter them when its not the one they belong to... the Lt. has a recall button in the radio menu, push it and every FF of the truck is going to get to the LT's positions as fast as possible, originaly thought as retreat function but you can also use it to get your men together
  3. color of the leathershield is like in real, also like showed in the screen of the GUI by clicking on the unit you see what truck it belongs to sure can squad FFs vent too, they have the same staffing as a truck co. dont give an answer to this, you see that in a screenshot of the media package explained thank you... but i know the most already, have friends and relatives working over there and was couple of times there too hope i could help with my answers

From left to right: Engine 10 = Line where you see what truck your FF belongs to Firefighter = Occupation of the person selected Health Status = Condition of your unit SCBA Status = Just displayed when FF wears SCBA / recently showing in "PSI" instead of "perfect" Fire Symbol = click on opens the submenu with the equipment which is needful for firefighting, e.g. the different hosetypes, fire extinguisher, etc. Gear Wheel Symbol = click on it opens submenu with everything needful for technical rescues, e.g. hurst tool, high pressure bags, etc SCBA symbol = put on - take off bottle Mask symbol = put on - take off mask (you just loose air when your unit is wearing the mask) Radio = Nothing important for a normal firefighter anymore, just in Lt. command bar now

  7. hm, decided to show you a screen of the GUI... its a screenshot took in the first tutorial stage (date of screenshot: 10/22/2010). as shown above it was a while ago we took this screen, the time brought changes... e.g. after we decided to make the chauffeur and the captain as single "actors" the talkie is just in the bar of the cpt. or the SCBA status is displayed in PSI now. but you are going to see the current status on screens coming with the media package, may this screenshot smooth some ruffled feelings.

  11. Thanks to all, we are going to show you something new soon... be patient. I know its hard to hear that again, but we cant change it. We cant tell you a percentage of the mod because we arent able to do that even if we would want that! The whole mod is a big construction site, we have to script our own "base" from scratch up while other mods have this base in case of the working EM4 freeplay system and just have to add their own scripts and vehicles to that "base". But we explain that more precisely soon. Only thing i can tell you at the moment is on what we are currently working on. Beside the big scripting part we finished the work on the map textures and a half of the first map with build on the enviroment and the editor work (main part shadylasse, silverhawk and myself are working on at the moment, "soon" to be finished completely). Our cars and trucks are completely finished, persons too. Currently building, mapping and skinning the remaining buildings (still some intense work). Also working on much more but this were the most important parts for you to know. It still takes a "good while" to produce the modification but this was for you to see what we are currently doing when theres time for and what the status at the beginning of '11 is.   14. no, there are no fireboats maybe later but not planned in first version let you surprise
  15. you can choose between three different traffic levels, cars which stuck somewhere disappear after 15 seconds

  18. We would NEVER show and tell you things which are impossible, you didnt even know how long we develop on special work, until it works well, before we let the community know that its included! EVERYTHING we told and showed up here FROM OUR SIDE IS POSSIBLE AND DOES WORK! comments like yours make me insane... believe me guy, if someone knows what is possible in EM4 and what's not, then its us. and to the batt and ems chiefs... i know that since GMC has won

  22. do you really think we would develop on something what couldn't run on a normal computer? if your em4 works smoothly, then its no problem
  23. 5 in total now, we were three people... i think you may remember but after developing the new concept we took two very talented guys on board additionally and everything works fine *Pinned my statement on first page under "We introduce our modification"*

I really can understand you guys, wating for something isn't easy... and you don't know how much we appreciate comments like yours, those keep us going in times the motivation is underfoot And now some statements: "Why do we keep so much information and in-game screenshots as a secret?" We keep most things as secrets, yes. There are some good reasons, let me explain. Believe me its better for all of you not to know what exactly is included in the modification... this has two main reasons: Reason one: The surprise of what we've made is much bigger than to know what we have included before we are going to release it, i know that... i just go from me personally, i love to see new games released and to play them... i follow the developing process they did and every developer has its own presenting style. Some tell you everything, some the most important to keep you updated. As for me, i like the second option... yes it can be annoying to wait so long but when i play the game then and see things i never expected to be included... i think all of you know that feeling. Reason two: This reason is the most important for us. On the one hand it's the surprise thing and on the other hand it's better for all of you, except a few people, not to know how big this project is and how our concept looks like. Believe me, you would call us crazy. I know what you may think now. "Why can't you show us little impressions then?" There is an easy answer: We are working on our final concept since the begginging of summer 2010, it's a big project but it's process is coming along fine. It has a reason why the "We introduce our modification" part on the first page is still empty. Believe me guys, we are going to present you all information with some big media package when we feel that it's the right time to. Yes, we could give out screenshots right now at this moment... but this wouldn't be very good because currently everything concerning the map, etc is under construction. You wouldn't buy and move into a new apartment just from visiting the construction site, you take a visit after its quite finished and you see what you can expect from it and we are currently working on to this "final visit" but this still takes time. All in all, we are going to show you information and screenshots of this big and special project but this still can take a while, i know this may sound stupid because it's always the same waht you hear "this can take a while" or "just be patient". The only thing we can do is giving out some screenshots of little things to keep you updated until we have our "information package" done to present it for the public. I really wouldn't had wrote a text like this, which took me a half an hour to write my feelings down and find the right words to make it clear for all of you how and why we handle the publishing thing the way we handle it, when i wouldn't be in earnest with it.
