No, there is not a specific tool, the cars just come that way. When I finish a skin I save it as jpeg and use DDS Converter 2 to convert it to .dds. Then I replace the old skin with the new in the LA Mod directory. I.E. C:\Program Files (x86)\Wizard Works\911 First Responders\Mods\Los Angeles Mod 1.8\Models\Vehicles\Police\[cv_lapd.dds]. Thanks for the tips; however I am not doing models yet, only skins. But I might get to that eventually. Its good to know I can ask someone if I have any questions, so thanks. And those are some good pictures, by the way. Thanks for the links. I am currently re-skinning the USAR to look like the Res5cue truck, let you know when that's done. Yes, I did skin the Hazmat truck. But the model is Hoppahs. All these are, I just reskined them from LA to NYC. It honestly took me a little under a year, using Em3 and Em4 to learn how to mod this well. -Bama1234 NYCSubMod

New Ambulance, with the classic "NYC EMS" scheme on it. The regular FDNY ambulance is also done, but I dont have a picture yet. Expect that sometime today though.

Quick question. Would anyone like it if, instead of skinning the vehicles to look like modern NYC, if i made them to look like the ones from '95? That'd be pretty cool. I just think the lax truck looks beast.

1. Download a program which converts .dds textures to jpegs or pngs. (I recommend DDS Converter 2) 2. Convert the files you want to change. (dont forget to backup the originals!!!~) 3. Open them with Paint or Photoshop. 4. Edit. 5. Convert them back to .dds textures, and replace them in the proper directory. Bama1234 NYC Submod

When you say that, do you mean use an ambulance as an EMS supervisor? Something like that might look good in my Sub-mod. -Bama1234

Ummm... maybe. I havent quite gotten into modelling yet, as I'm currently using Hopphah's mod, so unfortunately I can't release it. But yes, something like that may come along eventually. I like the idea.

Ok. Just so you know, I'm not planning on releasing it in any way without your permission. I respect the work you've done, and I love the LA Mod:) So, this is just for personal use, and is not going to be released, just so everyone understands. However, I do have some more pictures I'd like to release, as long as that's okay.
