  1. New update, this car will be in both the NYC mod and the "mystery" mod. It is completely my work and will replace Hoppah's water tender in the mods. Please comment!

  4. No those arent miami-dade, Jab16's mod is Miami dade I believe. These 2 trucks are my custom models which replace Hoppah's two main engines. The Police car just has a new skin and a new lightbar/lights. See?

  7. Thanks guys, got it working. The image must be 8192 by 8192 pixels and be in Truevision Targa [.tga] for it to import. You go to [in the editor] "Edit" then "Terrain", then hit "Floor", "Import Texture" and find the TGA file. It will take roughly 3 minutes to import.
  8. Idk. What is the heightmap and how do I get it to work right?
  9. Okay I tried to import it but it says "incorrect heightmap: Maximum is 513x 513"
  10. Okay and by "download from our database" you mean the download center and by "convert" you mean just rename, right?
  11. Where are the map textures located? Im not talking about the UI textures, I mean the actual map textures?
  12. Im not sure if NYPD uses these but anyway it is just for fun. Right now I am UV mapping the thing which is unbelievably time consuming.
  13. Hooray! I finally have modelled a 1990 Ford Crown Victoria which will be used as a police car in my mod. This took hours of frustrating work to build and to get it to work. I'd like to thank Hoppah for his tutorials and MikeyPI for his help. Please comment
  14. Okay everyone, I finally got a model into the GAME!!!!!! Problems: (lol) 1. Model is too small and when I scale it in Zmodeler and replace the old with new it is still the same size. Other than that it is goin good! [please help]
  15. Alright guys, I successfully loaded a car into Zmodeler. Can anyone tell me preciseley what I have to do from there to get it into the game? Thx
  16. Oh god, lol, I meant to say Impala this whole time!! The model is 2004 impala, not caprice, sorry everyone. And for "copy protection" reasons, I'll send you a sample car in 3DS format and you could try to work with that, it'd be the same as having the caprice.
  17. well i think i may have a fix, but i like the 2004 models. and i do have a '94 model, it is hoppahs caprice taxi reskinned. its in one of these screens i think.
  18. no, I mean the 2004 Chevy caprice. It is sorta hard to tell in the screenshot. Hey if anyone else who owns 3ds or something can help me I would appreciate it GREATLY.
  19. Ok, that helps with the mapping part but the model still wont open in Zmodeler2. In the side bar the boxes are checked saying the model is there, but there are only pivot points and no model in the viewports. Please Help!!
  20. This is the 2004 Chevrolet Caprice model that I am adding. Please comment, but help me with my problem as well. The only way I can get this car skinned and in the game is if someone tells me why in zmodeler it just shows up blank, and how do I texture map the model?
  21. You know I just might, but right now I really need help with the Zmodeler problem. It just wont show up in the zmodeler.
  22. Ok guys, I have made a working Ford F350 model in 3ds Max, but when I try to import it into zmodeler nothing shows up in the views except the pivot points. [it says the box is there but there is no model] I exported it to 3DS format and imported it. Please Help!! And also how do you texture map?
