  1. Thanks! That's a bug with the LA mod, but I will look into implementing the Loot's fix before next release. Thanks! That's the effect I am going for. There will definitely only be one station, but I may adding a couple of additional units to it. That's from me taking way the second fire station in my map edit, there's not supposed to be a station there, but I just never got around to editing the mini-map to take it off.

  7. Yeah, I'm strongly considering adding another engine or brush unit to the station, as well as a command unit. And there will be a few new & re-worked fire units. @Fred I have thought about it, and I'll probably add a truck or a modified SUV of some sort. @OnFire, yes, the county units are staying, although I'm considering getting rid of the county police and using its design for the sheriffs units.

  10. Well you have my permission to make it public, because honestly I want to take a look at it myself.
  11. Alright here it is, a replacement for the dreaded GTA:SA army truck model; the M1078 LMTV. There will be two versions of this truck in the mod - the one you see here, a transport truck, which can hold 12 troops - and an equipment/shelter version.
  12. I understand it's a lot of work, so I'm not necessarily condoning cleaning it out, but it's true there are a lot of dead and private threads in Mods.
  13. That unit has been deleted from the civilian police force, but will be replaced for the Army by an M117 ASV which is similar Those are mine detectors. But the HMMWVs have been almost totally redesigned.
  14. What happens when you try to command them to enter the vehicle? Do they do nothing, does the game crash, etc..? The door actions are pretty simple, they operate on an X, Y or Z axis that determines which way they rotate or slide. Doors set as "person" are for personnel to enter/exit, doors set to "special" are for things like prisoner transport, doors set to "equipment" open for equipment acquisition, and "none" is self explanatory.... but, this should not affect your issue. Even models without doors can still "hold" or "load/unload" personnel.

  16. In this version at least, I'm not too worried about making separate scripts for fires, it's not going to happen. Not worth the trouble. With the brush truck, and with the fires spreading slower on the new map, it shouldn't be a problem. Right now I'm taking a break to work on the Army units. Adding new persons, and a new model, the M1083 FMTV truck which will replace the deuce and a half (and the Poorly done GTA:SA model found in the LA mod). There will be two versions, one for transport, and one for equipment.

  18. Basically (Mikey correct me if I'm wrong) in order to get moved to the Mods section you just have to have proof you've actually put work into the mod and it's made progress

  22. Are there any specific geographical, natural or manmade features you all want to see on the new map? (Within reason) There will already be: a small river, and thus, a bridge; train tracks; a state park; residential, industrial, and commercial zones.
