Hey again guys, Ive got another problem with my private mod. Lets start with the background story - i have edited the map so there is only one fire station now, but I cant delete the second control panel because it causes an error on the ToFireStation script, so I had an idea to make that panel function as a dispatcher, meaning that it would have the Batt Chief commands. I've tried both applying the commands in the editor, and also asigning them to the panel via the FireStation script. In both cases it doesn't work. My question is what do I have to do to have those commands on the panel? Ive got a feeling that I need to do something with the Battalion Chief script to make the control panel a valid actor in the script, but I cant tell exactly what to do. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks alot for reading, hope you understand

Hey, I am editing the change clothes script in order to add another "set" of clothes to the FF's, meaning there will now basically be a chain of clothe changing (FF - FF with protective gear -> and only then FF with SCBA). I understand the script and can do this task, I only have 1 problem. The line specifying what model the person should change to looks like this: Caller->PushActionExecuteCommand(ACTION_APPEND, DUMMY_CHANGE, Target, 1, false); My question is, how do I know what number represents each person? Hope you understand the question and thanks for the reading

Hey All, I've made my own private alteration to LA Mod that makes it a mod of my town. Changes have been made to the map (only moving objects, haven't touched paths and all that), Models & Skins, and altered the scripts in order to move the station to a different location (I have only touched the fire station scripts, nothing to do with traffic lights). Everything works fine up to now, but I have a wierd problem. In a freeplay game all the traffic lights on the map stay red for a while as usual, but then go orange green and back to red in seconds, which doesn't give any vehicle a chance to get through, causing huge traffic jams. Ive tried making the VO's that are before the lights longer but it hasn't helped. Anyone know what the problem might be? P.S: Im working with LA Mod 2.0 with the old freeplay map. Thanks

Hey Guys, Im working on a private mod of my city based on LA Mod, it includes new models, some script changes and map changes. Today it started crashing. What happens is: I load the mod, start freeplay, it works for a few seconds (i can see the map and move around a bit), but then it crashes. I do not recall making any big changes before starting it this time and up to now it has worked fine. Attached are my log files hoping someone can find the solution. Thanks alot, Dondadon. EDIT: Ive discovered the trigger to the problem, for some reason theres an engine model that causes it, if I use a different model on the same prototype its ok, whats wierd is that if the model is clean (without doors and wheels etc.) it works fine, but the moment i add children to it I get the same error. Great Idea.. Ironicaly i started building my own israel mini mod about a year ago but gave up, altough it came out not bad. my main problem was 3d modelling so i just took models from other mods and repainted them (that im good at), also i made some changes to the map to make it look more israeli (more areas for brush fires etc.). so if you could make a mod with accurate 3d models it would really be good. i can always help you with repainting if you need it good luck, Mor - Israel.

ahhh ok so how do i make it 32 mb?

are you sure? i tried with 24 and it crashed and i looked in la mod folder and it was 32 mb. maybe im doing something wrong? i save as tga not compressed with alpha 24 bit, put it in the maps folder and chande the ending to EFT. anyway thanks for the fast reply

I have edite the default map floor and im trying to save it as 32 bit, but even if i save as 32 it comes out as 24, ive tryed adding an alpha channel but it doesnt work. what do i have to do?

i am using it for a private mod, ive been working on it for a while and i havent got a ladder yet, dont worry it wont be published.

I took an aerial ladder from winterberg mod and put it in my mod, added al the right commands and parts and called everything the right name. but when i go into the mod and command the ladder to install the the support legs come out but the basket opens again and again like its on loop mode (and it isnt). as if that isnt enough once the animations start working i cannot control the vehicle anymore and all the command buttons dissapear. is there any adjustments i have to add or something?

lol i have another problem that has never happened to me before, i go to the editor, load the map and try to go to map properties, but when i click on it nothing comes up and a white arrow points to one of the edges of the map, whats the problem?

Hello, I would like to add more events to the default map, is it possible? I DONT WANT TO CREATE A NEW EVENT, i just want to tkae a forest fire for example from the forest next to base to a forest i built. anyone know if this is possible? Thanks to all repliers.

Hey All, I have the back of a water pumpr (not the cabin, the place where the water is..) and i have connected it to a mercedes truck, that worked fine, the only thing is the back (again, where the water is) isnt uv mapped, i have made an attempt to do it myself but it came out very lousy. i dont know if its to much to ask but if i upload it could somebody please uv map it for me? i have a picture to work with. thanks very very much for who ever can help me.

how can i make vehicles i added to the game fire proof? every time i send engines to a fire even if there a quite far away from it they explode, like the probplem with the tiller before 1.9.1 patch. how can i fix this? thanks in advance.

i saved in mono.. stil dont work, must be something wrong with the script but i cant figure out what ive changed it twice. thanks all anyway.
