Little odd that somebody who's trying to prove a point won't upload the only piece evidence necessary to prove his point correct and everybody against him wrong. I spent a good 5-10 minutes trying to come up with witty, funny, and even serious replies to this but I'm actually incapable of that. So here's my best effort at a serious reply... What makes you think you can claim that portion of Antarctica, that is already being used for research by various countries? And because I know all you're going to do is say the same thing and provide the same link you've been giving us, I'll just post my follow up question now... What possibly makes you think you are the first/only person in 101 years, (The land was first spotted in 1902) to try and "claim" that land? That Family Guy episode when the Griffin property is discovered to be not on any map and not part of the country, and in turn is claimed as "Petoria" by Peter Griffin has a more legitimate, believable story than this...

My mentality for that, coming from a more urban/city style department is if they're calling 911, it's an emergency. Could be dispatched as a broken leg, but you truly do not know what it is until you get there. If it is indeed just a normal, everyday, non severe broken leg, well then you just made the turn around time quicker and made the ambulance available for true emergencies faster than if lights and sirens were not used. If the bone's sticking out and he's losing blood fast, good thing you used lights and sirens. Everybody disagrees with me on that, but that's how I operate. In my almost 10 years of being an EMT and driving ambulances, I've never once been in an accident while responding or transporting with lights and sirens. Just have to be smart with using them, know what you're doing, and drive under the mentality that everybody else on the road has no idea how to drive, (Most people do drive about 10x worse when there's lights and sirens nearby anyway).

Where did you hear that? Safety of yourself is number 1, safety of your partner is number 2. Meaning you drive to any scene, regardless of age or nature, safely. Urgently, but safely. And you always stop, or at least slow down before going through red lights. I'd drive to an unconscious infant the same way I would for a middle aged person with trouble breathing, or a teenager with a broken leg. You can't help anyone if you get hurt on the way.

Scene isn't safe so I'm not going anywhere near the house with the dog. Can't help anyone if you get injured yourself. Call police and advise of both situations. You sorta make it sound like this is all happening in the same house; if that's the case, then yeah not going anywhere near the house. If these are two different houses, then I'll go to the residence of my patient and look for any signs of obvious death (Any mortises) , then do whatever needs to be done there depending on signs of death.

Honestly, being an EMT, I don't like those kinds of posts. Is EMS underrated? In certain aspects it might be. But myself, and I'm sure many others don't do what we do to look for recognition or to go "Yeah I save lives, I'm cool." We are not, or at least I am not in it for that. I do it because I enjoy it, and when people look forward to seeing you at what very well may be their worst point in life, it's a good feeling. I don't like to brag about my job or look for attention because of what I do. I get the job done, and if I can make someone's day or help better their quality of life from what it was when I first met them, or even save their life, then I've done my job right. But those kinds of posts I'm not a huge fan of, because it makes EMT's and Paramedics just look like a bunch of people looking for attention. If you truly enjoy your work as an EMT, you don't care how the public looks at you as long as you're satisfied with yourself, your work, and doing what you're doing to the best of your ability. If you become an EMT expecting attention and "fame", then you're certainly in the wrong line of work.

To add on to what was already explained, New Jersey has no municipal paramedics. So volunteer agencies and paid agencies covering either a town or a region cannot do anything ALS. Because of this, the state has 100% ALS coverage through various hospital run EMS agencies. For example Toms River has MONOC coverage as this mod shows, to explain the name MONOC originally (And I guess still does) mean "MONmouth-OCean" because those were at first the only counties they covered, but they're beginning to take over a lot including Union and Essex counties. Atlantic Ambulance runs medics in Morris and Union county, Trinitas Medics in parts of Union and Essex county (Particularly Elizabeth) and UMDNJ medics for Newark, Camden, and other parts of their respective counties. St Clare's in parts of Morris and Sussex counties. I think you've kinda got the idea by now. It just depends on what company runs the hospitals systems (or the majority of the hospital systems) in the part of state you're in.

And it's for those reasons I despise POV's. Too many people (Not saying everybody) that think just because they have the privilege to use lights, their car automatically becomes an emergency vehicle (And yes, I know in some states it does, and I don't know why). Honestly, if you wanna shorten response times instead of wasting hundreds or thousands of dollars on lights to turn your car into a pretend emergency vehicle, here's my proposal. Either the entire crew or maybe at least 2 people (Driver and an extra person) stay at the station in shifts 24/7. Those trucks go to the scene, people in their own cars go to the scene. At this point I'm paid, the volunteer EMS organization I was with actually transitioned over to being paid recently after being combo volly and per diem for a while, but what my department did was make all crews stay at the building, or otherwise with their ambulance & crews. Want food? Take the ambulance & crew. Need to go shopping or stop at your house? Take the ambulance and crew or do it later. Don't need to worry about POV's or who's going to the scene and who's picking up the truck. We are also in an urban area, and are relatively buys, so that's part of why, but the important part is shortest response time possible, because your with your crew and ambulance the whole time. If you really wanna increase the chance of saving a life or lessen property damage, that's how it should be done, and how most if not all volunteer places should be operated.

New Jersey volly's can have a blue light. They must have a blue lens and the lamp can be no more than 51 candlepower. It can only be a strobe, halogen, incandescent light, or a combination of those. Must be placed in the center of the dashboard, or on the roof if it's a light bar type. Having a blue light is a privilege and DOES NOT make your car an emergency vehicle, and I like it that way despite many volunteers possessing blue lights seem to think otherwise. You can not speed, or disobey traffic laws. All laws must be followed, and if they are not, you're blue light privilege can be revoked and you will also be fined, and more than likely be suspended or forced to leave your department. Do people follow all of those rules? Rarely. Oh and chiefs or officers of volly squads/departments can have a red light and (I think) a siren in addition to the blue, but must follow the same rules.

Well considering that these attacks actually occurring, without being discovered and/or stopped are relatively rare in the US, and the type of attack, it was a shock to many, as with really any terrorism event.

Two that I've also always wanted but was never able to get was the two San Diego models they had, one was an engine and the other was a ladder.

In addition to what everyone else is saying, and I could be totally wrong because I know nothing about game development, but the console version is scheduled to be released in Spring of next year. Obviously, this means the console version are at a point where they will be ready to be released in a few months, and I can think it can be assumed that the PC version is NOT ready to be released in the same amount as the console versions. I'm a console owner, so I'm not affected, but do seriously want them to just rush through whatever's left to do with the PC version? Rushing is not good, because the final product will generally be a lower quality (At least in whatever aspects of it were rushed) and it's more likely to have problems, which all the PC owners who are currently complaining about it coming out later than the console, are only going to complain more about, and complain that they released the game before it was ready to. Do you really want that? Put yourself in the shoe's of Rockstar Games and anybody else working on it, do you want to deal with that? Do you want to rush it, and deal with problems after release, or do you want to make sure the game is finished so there are minimal issues after release?
