  1. I'm sorry, maybe it's just me, but does anybody else find a 50 minute call time for ems absolutely ridiculous? It was just a general BLS call too; no ALS or extrication or rescue or anything.

      in New Sea land, I thought in Piha, it's normal that an ambulance has a ETA between 40 and 60 minutes

      once a old lady were i lived had to wait an hour and a half for an ambulance because none were available rrv was there but they had leave so left her with her neighbor until the ambo arrived to take her too hospital

      For different countries or more rural places I could understand that. I work in a more urban place where the is always ems available, whether it's one of our ambulances, a fire department ambulance, a fire engine as a first responder, or a mutual aid ambulance. And we have numerous hospitals within 10 minutes of us. So they must've spent a ton of time on scene. I don't know, compared to call times I've had, for a bls call especially, 50 minutes is pretty ridiculous.
