Amazing lighting and amazing looking models. being from the UK and living closer to West Midlands than the MET this mod will suit me perfectly. Just one suggestion from me, could you spawn more traffic to increase traffic flow slightly. its a bit dull scrolling the map for 5 cars at any one time, and spawn more pedestrians walking. Other than that cannot wait.

how do you increase the amount of civilian vehicles and civilians walking around on the map as in base game scrolling the map i see about 3 cars and about 5 people, whereas the LA mod has more traffic and people so guessing this can be done? thanks

hi all, two questions: 1) (i have made a topic of this in modding help forum but this is the mod i would be using it on) how do you increase the amount of civi vehicles and civilians walking around on the map as for london scrolling the map i see about 3 cars and about 5 people, whereas the LA mod has more traffic and people so guessing this can be done? 2) on this mod (i think it was a bug in readme) when i end the game in freeplay after it registers the score and i press end game theres always a CTD, has anyone worked out how to fix this? thanks

I had a look at the "queensland mod" and the developer has created an amazing looking taser script that would fit perfectly in with this mod.

Mintcake69 said a few posts back that patrols are already included and police, fire and ambulance stations are almost in there. No word on whether or not the police car returns to the station.

i understand that its just when i scroll round the map i can count all the cars on one hand i think its needed to make the freeplay map feel more alive and as you say the extra challenge of having to direct cars/ stop pedestrians etc.

I dont know much about the modding of this game. But was just playing this mod and was wondering: - could you make it so there is more pedestrians walking around and alot more cars on the roads, all seems bit too quiet.

yes because the mod does not even show. i went into the mod editor to have a little play, the mod i created has saved in the editor and on the mods section of the game. i have deleted all files in the EM4 mod folder, just need to delete it from the mod editor i guess but i dont know how.

hi all, so so so happy we are getting an update to an almost perfect MOD. Being from the UK this MOD is the only reason i still play EM4. as I have mentioned earlier only bugs are:- - ID_NAME_DPL01, ID_PURPOSE_DPL01 seen in game rather than given vehicle name. - Police not in campaign missions (now fixed) feature/unit requests/suggestions:- - Police patrol city button like on LA mod - Police helicopter (not necessary but nice to have) - Life boat (not necessary but nice to have) - k9 unit (if possible have the rescue dog with its owner as a police dog instead and like the rabis emergency when the stray dog attacks the human do that same motion for the police dog and give the dog faster running speed and damage points) [dog unit is common in UK although mainly used as scare tactic they are used] thanks for an amazing mod and cant wait for the update. update: - Needs the getaway car availiable to complete certain missions and freeplay missions correctly.

Hi all, i would like to create a private sub mod for either LA mod or the london mod, as im from England, based solely on the police. I got this idea from a game called Police simulator, however the game is so bugged, poor, slow, save game dont work, that the concept is there but the execution wasn't. What i noticed is the graphics and gameplay are so similar to Emergency 4 that with alot of hard work and using a mod (permission provided) i could get most of the features into this Emergency 4 and make it better. I have a whole mod features list and ideas and plan in my head that i really want to execute. however to make that possible or the best it can be i have a question? 1. I see its possible to edit/remove/add events, eg i would like to remove emergencies for fire department and ambulence eg discarded cigarettes, fires starting etc, and replace or add events for crime such as assault, hit and run, running a red light, anti-social behavior etc. would this effect/crash freemap? how do i change how frequent events happen?

I know I haven't made alot of posts but you have created an account/ made 1st post to say that? If you didnt know nearly all mods are 'skins' of the original game. Having just skins is fine, I love the London mod, the Norway Mod and the LA mod because of the vehicle skins. (any other added features are bonus) I also know how time consuming it is to mod as i use to mod rise of nations, Rome:total war etc. They take alot of effort and FREE commitment out of your normal everyday life so I find your statement very rude and Offensive to people putting in the time to make and release any mod, and for you to signal out the NORWAY MOD was extremely disrespectful because it was made in loving memory of the massacre victims.

i compare it to other mods, and its all typed out exactly the same way, just this one. i recon its a file or folder missing in the mod section.

the unit shows up and is fully playable. what you see is ID_NAME_DPL01, despite a name being placed after it. if you change the DPL01 to House it shows up in game as ID_NAME_House. it does not recognize the bit after eg ID_NAME_DPL01 > Dual purpose ladder . it does in all others mods. when you see the engine name in game it will say Dual purpose ladder.

tried to re-write on a completely new notepad and no luck, i think theres a file from the original game that hasnt been placed in this MOD. hopefully Sniped222 does continue this mod, its almost finished as far as im concerned. i love it. the only problems are: -Names of vehicles and personnel not showing -Needs a police helicopter -Needs a water canon fire engine -Needs a sniper -Needs a life boat,raft

downloaded notepad 2 yet nothing seems broken in any of them? i just think theres something missing from the base game that hasn't been exported to the mod folder for this specific mod.

After uninstalling a mod when i look through modifications in game there is a spanner picture with the mod name and even if i reinstall the same mod or uninstall game the spanner stays. even removing all folders. any idea how to remove it?

thanks for reply i did an edit in the unit folder under "Unit ID" to fire-engine. Now in-game instead of "ID_NAME_example1" it says "ID_NAME_fire-engine" so the unit name has changed the the ID_NAME still remains and i have compared with another mod and the original game and there seems to be no typo. i dont no if there is another folder or file that needs to be edited or added into mods.

thats where i change it, when you look in that folder it says under: ID_NAME_DPL01 > dual purpose Ladder (thats what should be seen in game) however in game i see ID_NAME_DPL01, ID_PURPOSE_DPL01 etc

played mod and saw names of vehicles and personal was not set, however for some reason when i change the names or purpose they will not set? they do for LA mod and NY mod, names show eg. ID_NAME_example1.
