I presume this isn't America only...? Anyway, things work a little different here in England so I've done county rather than city, being as there's probably more Fire Trucks in your city than in my county. Anyway oldest Appliance is this 1992 Operational Support Unit based in Aylesbury, contains all the Heavy Rescue gear, we now have Prime Movers that kind of outdate this truck but its still about. The newest depends what you class as a truck or appliance. These 3 unit all date from 2010 and are Operational Support, Water Rescue and a Station Car but none really have a prime firefighting role. However, an actual Firefighting Appliance would be this 2009 Scania Rescue Pump based at High Wycombe. When you press deploy 'Riot Squad' or whatever it says, when they line up two barriers appear in front of them. It does not work like the barriers in the LA mod, they are deployed by the vehicle in this way and when you pick them up they dissappear. I think they also work as 'Send people away', but I can't remember. The OC-D

Hello, This isn't a problem with my EM4 game, that's loaded on my computer just fine, it works. However, when I download a mod and put it in the EM4 folder (ready for extraction), its not there (neither is it in the silly little 'Downloads' folder). I have downloaded the Win RAR from this website, and that can't see them either. However, when I try to redownload the mod, the .zip folder is visible in case I want to overwrite it. I'm on Windows 7 (64 Bit). Any help would be appreciated, there's only so much you can do on EM4 without any mods. The OC-D

OK, thought I d jump in on this merely to improve some much needed debating skills. First of all, try using English, capital letters and punctuation correctly when trying to make a point, you may be a 'Frenchie' but you're in an English forum. Secondly, ERS Berlin (I guess you've figured out) is a completely different Mod to the LA one and the Winterberg one and the London one etc. They offer different things having been made by different people of differing skill levels for different audiences. If ALL mods had the different dispatch system and ALL possible scripts then they'd be identical in basics, only models and skins would be different. Most mods aim to add another country's units to a very German looking game, making a German mod (theoretically) should be easier. "I'm not here to do an advertisement for ERS Berlin", so why mention them at every turn? "it's to make you understand that your mods are realy far from ERS Berlin, and it's sad !!" Define "you", this community that you're part of now or some mythical council of mod-makers whose only purpose in life is to irritate you with (in your opinion) sub-standard mods? Also, you seem to suggest ERS Berlin was knocked together in a few hours, I suspect it was in its near final stages (after years of development) when you first heard of it. The Norway mod that you hate so much has been out months, how do you know that it won't develop into something that far surpasses anything else? Finally, the ERS Berlin mod is now dead, the makers are not adding anything major to it, so some the bugs will remain unfixed. And it won't run on all computers without fail. My computer won't allow me to even download the file, let alone try to play it. Finally, who are you to judge interest of others? Surely the best thing would be to keep it named TEC? Bearing in mind what you use the TEC tab for (TEC Helicopter, Pontoon Bridge, Digger, Crane, Recovery Trucks) other than doing them all National Guard livery I doubt just one company (e.g. DOT or Con Ed) offers all these services. Sure, reskin the Engineer van Con Ed a la the NYC Mod but calling the Tab where you're getting your USCG chopper 'Con Ed' seems a little silly to me. The OC-D

I'm just guessing but are you using the LAPD Dog? If so you need to be using the USAR Dog from the Medical menu, that has a 'search' command. Hope that helps. The OC-D

I owned the original Tropico and it was a fun game and was executed reaosnably well. Now 4's come out, I'd hope its improved massively but it may be far and removed from what I'm familiar with. I echo the avoidance of MW3 and Battlefield 3, this is quite a specialised community, so throwing it open to a huge game could be damaging. The OC-D

AFAIK there isn't a way but, and I'm not sure whether this is a bug with my game, until you clear the first incident there will be no more. So, if you have a Medical Emergency, dispatch and Ambulance ASAP and get treating but as long as you don't return that Ambulance to the hospital, you have ample time to set up patrols, recrew at stations etc. Hope that makes sense and is helpful. And if someone could confirm whether that is universal or not. That'd be grand. The OC-D

As far as I can tell no, whilst you are in other story missions you can go back to old desks to replay other cases and occassional dispatch calls crop up but there is no true freeplay or 'quick missions' as far as I know. The OC-D
