secret surveilance with lots of cameras, microphones and stuff, which you can then make the cops arrest him for because he does not have any PI licence just an idea to a use

yes, the EM4 Deluxe missions will be in english as well with the original missions package, so you dont need to translate it, you could either just copy the language files as suggested or play la mod

from various debates and threads on the forum i have seen that there is mainly 3 types of ambulances in USA, type 1, 2 and 3 type 1 is usually a box behind a pickup, type 2 us a van style ambulance type 3 seem to be a box behind a pickup or a truck from looking at (exterior) pictures of type 1 and type 3 there does not seem to be any difference other than the size, and that is not always the rule so can anyone tell me what the difference between type 1 and type 3 ambulances are in the US?

it have been discussed a few times and a user called Woltep made a boat trailer, but the biggest problem is that the trailer is not solid as far as i remember. here is what Woltep made: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.ph...amp;#entry31048 it can be downloaded from his site, find the link in his signature

they are translated to english in the LA mod i think? so you should be able to just transfer the language files from the la mod to the main game

he did try the config file but it didnt help, but he have apparently just solved the problem by setting the colours to 16 bits (from 32 bit) and it worked in 16 bits, so he tried with 32 bit and it works there as well thanks for the help anyway

Lets make a Dauphin II helicopter!
Sirius7dk replied to Commander Rasseru's topic in Modding Related Support
i know that, but why make a heli like that when he can ask voodoo to use his? thats my point -
my brother have just installed his english version on EM4 on his laptop and he geta a crash to desktop as soon as he starts, before any videos i looked in the forum and it appears that he have the same problem as described here http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=5751 (2 bottom lines of logfile.txt are similar) but he have not played the game and it is freshly installed so i doubt that that is the problem. it should not be a codec problem either because he have uninstalled k-lite. logfile.txt DxDiag.txt

The Largest Fire Department in the World.

i think that he is talking about the way the poll is made, it is possible to tick every single answer, but only 1 answer is correct so the poll should only have allowed 1 box to be ticked, and not all of them -
nice pics, but why is the chevy so common in norway? there cant be that much space in there?
-
i saw on a screenshot you posted of your station 1 that the Heavy Rescue crane is just next to the station, which made me wonder why you have not just replaced the USAR with the Heavy Rescue Crane? both of the trucks are mainly used for traffic accidents and both have the jaws so what is your reason for keeping the USAR? and thank you for doing all those scripts for us, so here is a beer for you

nice story and pics there

or, if you dont have the skills and dont want to learn to build it yourself, buy the computer in a small local computer shop and avoid the big chains like Curry's, PC World, Comet and what else, you usually get more value for money by buying it in a small shop. and i only know of this UK website, http://overclockers.co.uk/ but i have a good impression of that company

i agree

what is your budget? nearer £10 or £100.000? a general advice would be to get the best graphics card you can get and as many RAM as possible within your budget

How many forum members does it take to change a lightbulb?
Sirius7dk replied to Sirius7dk's topic in [EN] Off Topic
use the sun? it should be safe the next few billion years -
i ban hoppah for accusing poor innocent me of spamming!

if you get the message that the files are wrong, then it is because you do not have the same files as the other players, issues could be if you have 1 version of LA mod, and the other guys have another version, maybe someone have changed cars or maps. so the solution is to talk to those you want to play with and ask them what they have changed in their game and then make sure that you have exactly the same files

was surfing on the internet and found this joke How many forum members does it take to change a lightbulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs 1 to move it to the Lighting section 2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp" 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct 19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum 36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty 7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs 4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too" 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?" 13 to say "do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs" 1 to hijack the thread and ask how to change the horn 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

Ami89E1234 for President! to go back on topic, i think that MikeyPI is right when he says that all those big planes are impractical, but i can still see the idea in using it for the purpose

747 firefighting planes have not been around before, other much smaller firefighting planes have been around for years though AN-225 is a much bigger plane but there is only made 1 (another 1 is currently being built and should be finished in 2010 according to wikipedia) and there is a huge demand for that plane already as it is so it would be stupid to take it out of business for more than 2 years (which is the time they have spent changing the 747) and then rebuild it to a much more limited use than the AN-225 has today. according to wikipedia, then the C5 is not very much bigger than a 747, but the company have choosen the 747 because they have a lot of experience with 747s already, and the C5 is mainly a military aircraft
-
from what i have read about the plane, the plane is different in that it can have 7 times the amount of normal planes and it can drop the contents from a higher altitude which means that it can cover a large area quickly (when it is loaded) and about the usage issue, the plane has been made so it can have those 4 different types of content and that means that it can be used for other things than fires when it is not "forest fire season"

the air freight company Evergreen International Aviation have made a Boeing 747 into a firefighting plane and they say that it can replace 7 of the biggest firefighting planes in use in the US today read more here http://www.evergreenaviation.com/supertanker/index.html and if you just want pictures, they are here: http://www.evergreenaviation.com/supertanker/gallery.html
