Many thanks for the support guys. Update on plan: -Royal Engineers Can erect/remove barricades -Soldiers can be grouped into 5 man 'bricks'. These bricks can then set up vehicle or person checkpoints -Humber Pig to be 'flying' variant, with deployable riot shields (perhaps as an upgrade) Other considerations -Adding a Royal Engineers Bulldozer (for removing barricades quickly) -Adding a Royal Navy Dive team (to represent all British Armed Forces) -Troops that are injured slightly will regenerate health at the Barracks, alternatively, a Landrover or Bedford can deploy a 'tea-urn' to the field (for prolonged operation) all troops within the area of this tea-urn will regenerate health. I've been tinkering with the idea of having specific buildings within the patrol base -Barracks (for training and holding troops, troops will also heal when sent into the barracks) -MT (Motor Transport) for repairing & purchasing vehicles -Armoury (where troops can get weapons) -Signals Section (For purchasing more civilan support vehicles) -Operations Room (For unit upgrades) Thoughts on these ideas are very welcome.
