  1. Patient am krankenhaus means the patient is standing in front of the hospital (between the two telephone poles) and needs to be brought to his or her residence or to another hospital. Check the TAB window in order to see the adress or hospital (anderes krankenhaus) where you need to transport the patient to. It depends on what kind of call you click 4. If you have a simple transport call you only have to press 3 (call accepted) and 8 (dropped patient off). You can't enter houses on these missions because the patient will always be waiting in front of his house or the hospital. If you have an emergency (notfalleinsatz) you need to press 3 to accept the call, press 4 when you are on the scene, press 7 when you have taken the patient aboard the ambulance and press 8 when you deliverd the patient to the hospital. If you do not press 3 and 4 here you will not be able to treat patients, enter houses etc. You can still download the RTS mod from the official server. The English manual was added as an attachment to a post (see first post) so you can still download that as well. For the English translation you will have to wait for Bennie to post it elsewhere or untill the server is back online.
  2. I think you misunderstood us... We really encourage people to make as few posts as possible, but as I recall you can only post 10 pictures maximum in a post. So that's why we allow you to post multiple posts with photo's of the department while that normally isn't allowed.
  3. That probably has to do with the maximum amount of pictures in a post. So we'll allow it for this time. As long as it doesn't get out of hand.
  4. You have to give a status 4 (on scene) before you are able to treat patients / enter buildings etc. Check the manual for more information.
  5. There's a tutorial in the tutorial section, but you also need Z-modeler.
  6. Try downgrading to videodrivers from 2008 and see if you have any codecs installed (especially something from matroschka). BTW: one topic for your problem is more then enough. There's no need to hijack three other topics to, so I deleted your posts there.
  7. After you've put out the fires, protected the military base and evacuated the village, a second part of the mission starts where you need to arrest the arsonist. You need to withdraw all you emergency units to the north and west of the map (they need to be outside of the red dotted lines) and the arsonist will enter the map in about five mnutes. After that wait untill he sets a fire and arrest him (and extinguish that fire as well). The convoy stops at places where it would normally be attacked. You just have to order the convoy to move on if you already took care of all the threats.

  12. It should be possible to make the train go up a hill if you set it as a vehicle. I'm not sure if there is a special path for the train to follow. You should check that. If the train follows it's own path like other vehicles it should be possible to elevate that path and the train would follow it like with normal civilian vehicles.
  13. So you just copied the skin file converted it to a .jpeg (or whatever), changed it, saved the file, convertred it back to .dds and replaced the file in the mod/models folder correct? Were you asked to overwrite the original model file?
  14. Patience! Double posting isn't allowed on the forum. I thought you could turn of alfa reflections in the editor, but that could also be very wrong. I've never edited personell.
  15. No idea, maybe the getshears command (or whatever it is called)? How exactly did you add the jaws of life to the engines? If you checked the boxes in the traits menu of the editor, I'm not sure if that will work because hoppah's models are locked so they can't be changed.
  16. You can run EM3 and EM4 without CD even without a crack if you choose a full install. So I would suggest reinstalling and undoing the crack. After that adjust the screen settings in your config file to the screen settings you are using on the computer.
  17. You can't click a link to install the LA MOD. You need to download it first and save it to the mods folder on your PC. After that you need to unpack it using winzip or winrar and then you can double click the file ending on .e3mod to install the mod.
  18. Did you just alter the skin or did you UV-map the entire vehicle all over again? Is the reskinned model for a mod and if so, did you place the reskinned model in the model folder of the mod (and not the original game)?
  19. Are you sure you used the files from the correct specs folder: Emergency 4\Mods\Los Angeles Mod v2.0\Specs Did you change all the freeplay parameter files for endless play (freeplayparameters.xml, fp_params_endless.xml, fp_params_endless_2.xml and fp_params_endless_3.xml)?
  20. Because the models you can place from the propreties screen have their lights on by default. If you want o place models without lights you have to either change the lights from bluelights to special lights and make a command script to activate those special lights (like in EM3 LA MOD) or you need to make a change to the firestationstart.script and make the game spawn those vehicles at the startup and let the game disable the lights (like in EM4 LA MOD).
  21. Are you sure that's the entire logfile? Cause it stops at a strange time without any error messages. Maybe you can try uploading the logfile and dxdiag file as an attachement. See the technical help FAQ for more info on that. I put your logfile in a codebox for ya.

  24. Yes you can but you need the full version of Z-modeler2 to convert them into a workable 3d file format.
