I think your looking in the wrong folder... you need to check the folder where youn unzipped the submod.

Do you have an error report / logfile?

Try to reinstall the game then, maybe the drivers did override something. Or it could be something else ou installed recently: virus scanner, spam filter, firewall. Try disabling those and start up the game again. BTW: theres no point in asking people why they haven't answered within an hour after you've posted. Not everybody knows enough about computers to answer technical questions. Just wait patiently and if at least a week has passed then you're entiteld to ask for help again. greetz,

maybe able when you design a knife, put it in a person's hand and use the "normal" fighting motion to simulate an attack.

It's a bug that occurs when you use the 'connect lines to vehicle button' to let the crew exit and connect their hoses to the vehicles, but when you manually disconnect the hoses from the engine or vice versa. The solution is to connect/disconnect the hoses to the truck again and use the 'disconnect/connect' button to remove/add the hoses to the vehicle. The vehicle will be moveable again after that. greetz,

It's an EM4 bug. It doesn't recognize the bridge as solid ground, only the water underneath and off course vehicles can't drive on water.

It was in EM 1. there where two missions: terrorist attack in the subway and fire in the subway.

Step 1: download and install winterberg 6.0 Step 2: download and install patch 6.01 Step 3: download (NOT INSTALL) the 'en' language patch (you can find a link to all of them in the earlier posts) Step 4: Copy the 'de' and 'en' folders in the lang folder of the mod and paste them somewhere on your desktop (as backup). Step 5: cut and paste the 'en' language patch into the language folder of the mod (so make sure it's inside the language folder of the winterberg mod!) Step 6: unzip the 'en' language patch in that folder. Step 7: the 'en' folder in the language folder now contains two new folders: 'Audio' and 'en' (for clarity I'll call this one the new 'en' folder, the one in the language folder is the old 'en' folder). Step 8: Open the new 'en' folder and copy all the files. Step 9: paste them in the old 'en' folder and delete the new 'en' folder. step 10: open the EM4/mods/winterberg mod/specs folder and open the file metastrinsg.xml with notepad. You'll see a lot of paths still have the extension lang/de, you'll need to change that into lang/en. Step 11: save the metastrings.xml file and start EM4 and load the winterberg mod. good luck

I just installed Winterberg V6.01 and the language pack but now I get all kinds of strange texts like ID_Freeplay etc. Any body got any ideas on how to see the normal texts? I already reinstalled the mod and the language pack a few times but the text won't improve... thanx in advance, [EDIT] nvm, found the solution on the winterberg forum (it was in German so took me some time to figure it out... If you install the language files they end up in a folder called en. You need to cut them from that folder, paste them in the original en folder and delete the en folder where the language files were in. Else the computer looks for the translation in the wrong folder and (off course) can't find them. [/EDIT]

It's a nice change of scenery, but most online players justdotheir own thing in stead of stoicking together, that makes it a little less fun then the normal game (where you do have a close team that actually listens to one another). btw my internet is working again...
