I think it was the first one. It is used by ambualce crews as a ligthweight stretcher. Also the stretcher is about 1 meter long, but can be extended both ways for about 0.5 meters. So it can be placed in a crashed car to stabilize a patients spine and extended afterwards when the roof is removed. There are also stretchers like that that can be folded in stead of extended. That may explain why it looked different. The second one is an evac chair. Out here ambulances do not have it. It is placed in buildings where people live who have difficulty walking. The evac chair can be used to help people get down the stairs much faster.

About the Modinstaller: go to start --> programmes --> Strategy first --> Emergency 3 --> EM 3 Modinstaller. If the ModInstaller isn't there you need to install patch three. But I doubt it if you recently bought EM3, those are usually patched to the max. When you try to install patch 1.3 when it is already installed you also get the error message that the game isn't installed. Since this appears to be about the patch and not about the mod, topic moved to EM3 Help section. New topic deleted.

Do you have a folder called 'Mods' in the Emergency 4 folder? If not create that folder yourself (file --> new --> folder) and try again.

Not sure about that, I know it was like that in the beginning because EM4 wasn't released in the US. But if you make one for Bol.de I'll add it to the other one. That way we have both websites covered.

It isn't a copy of the game, that is just the original contents of the EM3 folder, that aren't the unzipped files. I double checked today: only a folder named 'patch 3' and a read me/install guide are in the patch. Try not to use the 'extract all option'. Just save the patch in the EM3 folder. A file should now be there called: patch_13_uk.zip Use the 'extract here' option to extract the two files from the patch. Inside the patch 3 folder are the files mentioned in the FAQ.

No: you need to play the game, make it crash and then upload your logfile.

When you start up your computer you can press F2 or F8 (it varies) and then you get to choose to start the computer in normal mode or in administrator mode.

I'm sure even Vista has a windows explorer with a menu on it. Like "File....Edit...View...Favorites...Tools...Help" in the top of the screen. If you cant find that menu right click on an area next to the location bar and choose "show menu bar".

Did you download the patch_13_uk.zip? When I choose the "Unzipp here" option a folder called Patch 3 and a read me file appear. Everything works perfectly. So I think you are doing something wrong. By the way: if no files appear how can you know that the patch contains an EM3 file?

Go to tools --> options --> show hidden files. Wanna bet you can find the logfile now

I's not hardcoded, the game just plays the sound that is in the .wav file if it is commanded by the script. I thought it was the alarm script, where that is done, but I'm not sure.
