Do you really expect an answer in 24 minutes? You can select the vehicles in the fire station and send them somewhere. You do need to open the doors of the station with the control box outside. Or you can use the battalion chief to call the emergency vehicles from the station. After the map has loaded, the alarm will go off automaticly and the battalion chief will enter his vehicle at the main fire station. Let hi exit and use his command panel to alarm the vehicle.

Is reading the topic really that much to ask? The last update dates from the 28th of july so even if you were away a week you don't have a lot of catching up to do. But to answer the question: no it wasn't released yet.

I think you have a codec problem. You need to remove any codecs that can cause problems. Infamous codecs are Samsung PC studio, nokia mobile phone software etc. See the Technical Help FAQ for more information. If you need more help don't be afraid to ask.

A translator as in a program where you type text in your own language, press TRANSLATE and it turns it into English jibrish that nobody understands.

How else would they get new personell? Our intelligence service (AIVD) also recruits on job markets and career events etc. It's really not that uncommon.

Have you tried to clean your browsers cache (remove temporary intrenet files) and redownload the mod? Also if you use a translator, please stop using it, it makes absolutely no sense. Try using a dictionary in stead. Moved to the EM4 technical help section

All the new people banned in the last couple of weeks are new accounts of FDNY1RESCUE. Since everybody is only allowed to have one account, the new accounts are banned automaticly. Still he keeps trying to make new accounts.

Uninstall EM3, reinstall EM3. Go to start -> programs ->[publisher] -> Emergency 3. If you see a program called Emergency 3 modInstaller you don't need to install the patch. Just install the LA MOD without the patch and it will work fine.

I don't know if the english supervisor video's come with the mod. I'll check when I get home. But if they do then you can paste the'video folder over the video folder from the original game and you should be fine. Did you copy the En folder from the mod and pasted it in the language files? If yes just delete the en folder in the games language folder and copy the content of the en folder to the games language folder.

By using a photo editing program with a .dds plugin or by converting the map file to a jpeg file using the .dds convertor. After that you can use the program to draw the roads on the map and convert it back to a .dds file again.

Open the file freeplayparameters.xml and scroll down a bit untill you reach the <events> part. Behind each event you can choose to disable (enablevalue = 0) or enable the event (disablevalue is 1) in freeplay. Just disable all the events you don't want to have and raise the average ferquency of the other events so that you won't be sitting around doing nothing.

Look at the date: the last time the mod creater posted was in december 2007. I don't think they made a lot of progress at all. In fact the mod is probably long gone. Are you trying to up your post count or something? You asked that question on almost every mod today. Try to look at the date first, before posting update requests. If the mod creator hasn't been heard from for more then a year ago I'm pretty sure you can guess the answer without asking.

Moved to English Modding and Mod Help Look in the freeplay parameters.xml file and search for this line of text: <starttime value="7:30" />. You can change the starttime into any time you want. It uses a 24h format. So if you want to start at midnight, change it to 0:00.

I voted no, I still use them sometimes, in missions. I never use them in freeplay since there isn't an airfield or a plane crash event (not saying that they should be in the mod). I think it's unreal to extinghuish a house fire with a crashtender. But because I use them in the missions I wouldn't want to see them go.

The comment wasn't directed solely at you, but to everybody making suggestions or asking those kind of questions. It was merely to emphasise a point: there is no use in bombing Hoppah with all the questions about what vehicles fit's where, what vehicles are longer then others etc. You can see it when v1.9 comes out, there is absolutely no advantage in knowing all of it except satisfying your own curiosity. There is still lots of work to be done on the mod. All I wanted was for everyone to see the bigger picture and stop asking trivial questions. There is no need to feel like you are treated like a four year old just because one person comments on your post. It's a forum, people are allowed to comment on each others posts, as long as they respect the TOS. I'm sorry if you feel insulted, that wasn't my intention. When you loaded a mod you can only play one mode at the time. So after you have played in freeplay mode you cannot do missions. After you've done missions you cannot play freeplay. It's an EM4 bug. You wil have to restart the game and load the mod again if you want to play in another mode.
