The BLS FF/EMT's drop their stretcher to treat a persons, but they can still only be selected as one unit. The EM3 LA MOD did had that function. Some German EM4 mods still have that function. It basicly works by letting the two medics enter the ambulance, removing them and then spawning the paramedics with a stretcher (or vice versa).

And I want a million euro's. If it ain't there, it ain't there. Stop pushing. As far as I know the Lifeguard submod was the only submod released for the EM3 version.

LA MOD 1.9 contains a new map. I don't think you can find any other maps yet, the mod hasn't even been released for a week.

That's because the post dates from 2007. The EM4 version of the winterberg mod now has it's own translation. Emergency 3 appeared in English so you can just copy and paste the English text files.

Both links in my post are to the complete LA MOD, I just checked. Maybe you should delete the patch from your PC first and then try to install the LA MOD. Make sure you save the file on your harddisk and unzipp it before you start installing it. Version 2.5 is the Los Angeles Mod for Emergency 3

They already are, but somehow Dutch cops are very gun shy. Everytime an officer uses his gun to subdue or shoot someone it makes the national evening news in the Netherlands. I never understood what the big deal was, but apperently most of the Dutch people still find it very shocking. But back to topic: I'm very sorry the offcier died. I think they should imprisson that guy for life or at least take away their drivers license and impound their car.

You have got to be kidding me. Are you telling me you don't see any the difference between EMC's Hospital and the one from the Czech republic mod? Only the garages and the grey corner buildings look a bit alike, but those are standard EM4 models so anybody is free to use them. The main buildings are way different You should be very carefull before making unfounded accusations like that. Next time please contact the mod creators by PM first to make sure they have permission before you start accusing anyone in public.

You probably disconnected the trailer accidently. I've had it a few times (as discribed a few posts back). It is because the default command doesn't change to 'all staff exit' when you select the tiler truck. In stead the default command remains 'detach trailer'. If you make a mistake the trailer won't do anything. Just select the truck and select the 'attach/detach' trailer command and click the tiller trailer. It should function fine again after that.

I tried out the tiller last night, there were some minor things that caught my attention. There not really bugs, but 'fixing' them might improve gameplay: When you send the tiller back to the station, the trailer hits the green car behind the fire station (maybe remove it or place it somewhere else so it won't look as if the tiller driver bumps into it every time). When click the tiller cab and you have personnel in it the default option still remains "detach trailer" in stead of changing to "all personel exit". Made me drive away without the trailer a few times But apart from those things the trailer is functioning really well, maybe even better then the ladder truck. And again that big american flag really gives you that 'LA feel'.

That depends what flashing red box you are refering to. There are two in this mission. One is on the site of the drug gang itself, but it doesn't work. There is another one in a building north of the northern gate. Two gangsters are guarding the building where you can find the button. A fire fighter needs to open the door with an axe, then a police officer can toggle the switch to open the gate. In case you can't get the gates open: you can also enter the drug gang area with the motor boat from the FD.

ERROR: The Vision engine requires support for the ARB_multitexture extension! Please make sure you have the latest video drivers installed for your 3D card. Are you sure you even have videocard drivers installed? According to your DXDIAG file there are no video drivers present on your PC. Usually you can reinstall them from a disk you get with your computer when it's newly delivered.

I have no idea, try one of the other units (cop, fire fighter).

Played the mod for about an hour yesterday evening. LA looks really american now, especially with the american cars driving around the roads and the second fire station. Haven't had a chance to play with the tiller yet. I'll try that tonight.

The patch fixes some minor bugs like adding the icons for the fire stations to the mini-map and adding traffic lights in places where the traffic is constantly jammed. This will help the traffic flow go smoother. There is a read me included with the patch to tell you what else has changed.

Well post pictures of the progress then when you have time. That way people know there is still being worked on the mod. And they might get very enthousiastic if the skins look good, creating a bigger fan base for your mod. Just a tip.

Well you could try making some models & posting them here to prevent the mod from dying out. Just a thought...

Please stop making a new post for the same problem. Keep your questions about this problem in one topic please. Topics merged. To answer your questions: -as far as I know, having two games on one CD is a bit uncommon, but it shouldn't make any difference or cause you any game problems. -I don't think there is anything wrong with your laptop, but I'm positive some of the files weren't removed from your system and that's why you are experienciung this problem right now. But without your laptop I really can't tell you where to look. Just make sure you have manually deleted all the old Emergency 4 files before you install EM4 again. So only way to find out where those files are is searching your hard drive I'm afraid...

Stop pushing for a release at least untill today is over. I'm really inclined to start handing out warnings to the next person that is begging for release. Apperently even if someone sets a release date, it's never accurate enough because the whining for release continues. Please be patient!
