First off, excellent work! Very handy tool! Secondly, you mentioned for future releases, the ability to create or modify missions. Sorry, I'm using my iPad and can't quote that specific post. Question I had, would it be possible add a free play event creator in one of the future releases? In which players could create free-play events to add to their game and then change the parameters? If so, that would be a very awesome addition.

Hello I myself am not sure how to add parking thru the map editor. I know there is a forum thread for that. However, if you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend Xplorers mod he did which has added parking spots for police vehicles at the police station among many other improvements. Download link is below. Hope that helps a little.

That is correct, only difference is, I went to change it back from .PNG to .DDS with the converter and it soimply will not do it, I have no idea why... how would I change the model V30 to include the new .png file?

I have looked all over for this answer, I have re-skinned a vehicle from the LA Mod thanks to the directions in this topic and did exactly what they said, however, I am unable to convert the image I altered back to .DDS in order to use it in the mod.... Any ideas of what may be wrong?

Unfortunately , I am having the same problem and havent found a solution yet, I have uninstalled and then re installed and still doesnt work..

Thanks M1, I have had the same issue, except I had purchased 911 FR a while back VIA Atari and Digital River, now I went to update the game with the new sirens and NY Mod and the game cannot connect VIA Serial Key, SO, as per Atari support I was advised to re-purchase the game and re-install it. In the end, I had purchased the game 2x! and re-formatted my entire machine and even received 2 serial keys, I keep gettin the same error as the original poster, "Serial key invalid" When I contact Support they cannot understand why. Very helfpful, not so much! Thanks for your idea, I will ask for a refund and purchase from Amazon!

Thanks reece.c, I was not sure.. That is a major disappointment for me, I mean no offense to anyone by saying this, but, I dont want to play with European apparatus.. I live in the U.S. I want to play with what we have here, hence why I love Hoppah's mod...

Please, before you read this, understand that I know that EM2012 is NOT moddable...I was just wondering, since the Game has not yet released in the U.S... does anyone know if you will be able to control Apparatus like in the LAmod by Hoppah? Or, do you only have access to European apparatus like EM4 and 911FR... I was unable to find any solid evidence supporting this. Thanks for any input.

Hello all, I apologize in advance if this is a repeat issue for someone else, I did extensive searching on this issue and havent found anything,,,anyways, My pc runs 911 FR very well, as a matter of fact, its near seamless. however, in freeplay lamod v1.9 when i select a unit or officer, firefighter, etc, the game gets very slow, the units slow down, light bar seems to drag, even makes clicking somewhere for the unit to go or for an item to get difficult... and as soon as i de select the unit or click anywhere on the screen other than a unit, everything speeds up to par and the whole issue is non-observant... if anyone can shed some light on this situation, that would be great, it almost seems like the more units you select, even if its only one, the game overloads and slows down.......but i dont mean slow down as in glitchy or a video problem... just laggy sort of.. my pc specs are 3.40 ghz processor 4 gb of RAM 1024 Mb Gforce GTX285 Thanks a lot for any advice!!! :23_31_4:

Ok, good news, I was able to find the logile through the FAQ'a on this site and in my logfile I found the error and fixed it, I can now play!!! Thanks for everyones help!!

Hey everyone, I am a bit confused and lost. I just purchased a brand-new grpahics card and installed it on my pc. Now, I had to re-do my pc because of a virus, so I re-installed 911 FR and when I double-click the icon, it loads to a black screen for like 2 seconds then returns to the my desktop. It never runs or starts up. I have re-installed the game several times and the Pc itself. Any ideas on why this game will not work?? I need help please!! Thanks a lot in advance. Matt

Well thanks a lot for your response, I agree with what you stated and I respect that, the "modders" so to speak are busy people too and I realize that all suggestions cannot possibly be attended to, it just is not feasible, therefore, I accept your apology and I thank-you for clarifying things.

First of all, I do care, but I appreciate your concern mike, you may be right about the comment being directed at someone else. However. I agree with Stan on his last post. I feel like this is freaking Kindergarten!! I joined this forum because this game is totally awesome and I absolutely love the LA Mod, but we are all humans here and we do need to respect eachother. Just because someone is a modder doesnt mean that they are better than everyone else... except at modding of course, lol. So, I apologize for "breaking the rules" when it comes to suggestions, even though I didnt find any rules against suggestions in the TOS, however, I will retain suggestions for the future when it is okay to do so. And it was more of an opinion or a "what do you guys think" kind of thought, so, I didnt intend to offend or cause issues. Keep in mind, people do not know what was posted before all the time, so repeats may occur. I found that the search does not always find a specific post, it all depends. Oh and BTW mike, my other job where I am a supervisor, is volunteer, I dont get paid. Now we can all move on and have fun enjoying this awesome game!!

Well thanks for telling me about that Mike, I really had no idea. As for Hoppah, I have two jobs as well totalling 50+ hours per week as well as my bachelors degree in progress, I am JUST as busy as you!!!!!! There is no need to get angry with me about suggestions, I DID NOT KNOW!!! Perhaps, when you join this forum an email or PM should be sent out with the rules and guidelines. I dont want to make my own mod, you are better at that hoppah, thats why we leave it up to you. The LA mod is absolutely brilliant but it was your decision to make the mod, not mine.... I just suggested a possible idea or two that may make the game a little more fun for everyone. It was not meant to demean you of your work, or however personal you took it, sorry. Now I know for the future. Matt BTW.. I am a supervisor at one of my jobs, I hear the same questions 50 times a day sometimes, but I TOOK on the responsibility, not them. SO, I have to be willing to explain it or go about in a proper fashion.. and the way you acted doesn't attract me to this forum... Is there a Suicide on the tracks in v1.7 for freeplay, I saw it in the editor but it never occurs. I only get suicide by jumpin out the window or the swimming one down by the port. I must say the crane looks awesome, cant wait to see it in action and if I was to make a suggestion for V1.8, I would love to see more of a variety of rescues, such as automobile accidents with rescue, rollover, fire, and involving intricate details. (ie like a car going over the bridge, a train crash, small aircraft crash. etc.) That would be so cool, considering Hoppah put the Rescue truck in Station 1, so it is readily available. Its just a thought. the game cannot improve without suggestions... Also, I dont know if LA has this, but what if a Fire Police truck was added to V1.8? this truck could support like 4 fire police that have cones, flairs, barricades, etc in their truck. This truck could be stationed at the main fire house or police station and its sole purpose is traffic control for the Fire department or whomever. This way the police dont get tied up directing/closing traffic and roads. This is how we do it around where I live.
