  3. most mods are for all versions of the game. in the downloadbase you can find around 2 pages with mods.
  4. weird, i renamed the install maps to Los Angeles Mod V2.0 Original (cause a compatibility project with some submods) and i saw my tags standing in there... (los angeles mod v2.0) problely a computer bug... at least it is weird
  5. im never liked the idea of buying around 10 expansions for 30 euro each and the game for 60 each so you have a total price from 360,- euro for a game. ambitions is the best expansion i saw in all sims games, except from ''home animals'' (literal translation from NL: Huis dieren)
  6. Rofl, hoppah can it be that you used my submod and the tags are still in this file: lang/en/portraits.xml and lang/en/infotexts.xml i was busy make my submod compatiable (excuse my english) with patch 2 and saw those tags of the general and medic are still in there...
  7. Main story: some man are trying to bring some drugs into the country, prevent the ship from deliver the drugs to the destination. Tactics: 1. enter the ship by helicopter, enter the rooms and arrest the man inside. 2. let the ship enter the harbor while transport the drugs into the harbor arrest every man into the harbor, be carefully for shooting gangstars. 3. stop the car transporting the drugs towards the mansion using the chase commands (with helicopter assist) or spike strips. then arrest the man still in the harbor. It required a big map. i advice to make a new map but that is a lot of work.
  8. you can use it when a car is stolen in the freeplat, the car will drive over it, get out of control and the thief will leave the vehicle... he will escape on foot or shoot any unit which he says. in my opinion the best option to get a stolen car is the chase command after you send a chopper on the car.
  9. Compatibility News Since a few hours the new update is there, I don't know the changes yet (in files) so i advice everyone to just use my submod till i provide more information about the compatibility with Patch 2.
  10. ja gewoon ff laten uit laden, doe voor de zeker heid even de eerste keer 10 min daarna terug keren mocht het niet gelukt zijn, post dan iig wel ff de logfile...
  11. dat hoort erbij op dat moment laad die de mod, gewoon even 1 tot 3 minuten wachten tot je weer verder kan.
  12. it seems the animation for the paramedic team are not right, you can try reinstalling the game. BTW did you change anything of the those files: Save/campaignprogress.xml optgraph.dll that couldn't be opened, so did you change rights like ''read only'' or that kind, if so change this back before trying to reinstall the game. and try out to start the game again
  13. My exams has being finished and know waiting for the rash... (google translation NL: uitslag) This means i'm now able to focus myself on this project, i'm already a week trying out some scripts. Sadly enough most are without any part of succes... i still not able make scripts. But i notice that my skills are growing i'm able to make some more parts then i could before i now some more code's This will hopefully hold on saw i can do the last parts i need to know soon either This means that not every feature planned for the Realism Mod will not be there in the first Release when it comes to it. Those features will be added later. Also some contacts have being given to me which can help me learning to script better. I will contact them soon and see where it comes.   15. every car is possible as far as i know, you just need to make the model... and ladder trucks are as difficult as hell cause the hole ladder need to be made in parts...
  16. btw, i see it is the VO where crew get inside the vehicle and not the spawn place, the vehicles doesnt have a vo to enter the vehicle... the script is made like this: Alarm launched, script check which VO_... is filled with a car and then check inside how many crew is available and then send the crew toward the vehicle and let use the command EnterVehicle. for this is use the Caller / Target C++ code so there is no VO... but i dont know what you exactly what to do... then im able to help you...
  17. did you jus re-install or did you unistall and then install... just try deleting the mod using windows explorer
  18. deluxe is german, if you want it english you need to have 911 first responders
  19. I want to create a submod which happend on special conditions. It might not give any game features but will add some respect for all emergency units. I don't want to say what it is for now because i don't know if it will reach a release. Modders, Modding-teams all that kind of stuff can contact me by pm if you are interrested to help, i will release the plan to them, and only them. The plan will be showed to public when i know there will come a release, simple because i don't want to disappiont waiting forum users with a message ''it is impossible'' *Please do not spam this thread up with stuff like ''i like it'' because i don't need this in here...*
  20. place the script then i can edit it for you how it needs to be... supply me also with the old/standard part of one of the other vehicles so i can see how the standard is... is easier because i just have one screen open then

Yesterday evening i founded a bug. when you send the new motorboat (the little one where you can see units on it on the model) and you send a diver with it. when you send that unit to some place on the water and click on the diver icon, the diver leaves the vehicle but the boat still show 2 units on it. (or 1 if you had 1 on it)
  22. can you play the game, click on the mini map and then upload the logfile, then we can track down what the problem is cause by.
  23. i really need to say i dont like the units so much, the just made of boxes it look like, i would like to see more roundings, like vehicles are in real life and the nl, la and winterberg mod. but keep up the work for the people who like the mods
