All that it would be cool? I just wonder how will it work...? Because you will have limits in engines and men. You can't just call more trucks. If you can call more? Then it will be other Volunteer Fire Department or a near by City Fire Deparment. Winterberg Mod has something like that I think? That will be alot of skins and models to make. Also limiting how many trucks you can have of a type too. If you want this to be real Volunteer Fire Department? Also will this Volunteer Fire Department be Township or County? Each one of them are run differently. Unless this is a other Volunteer Fire Department else where? Like in other nation? If any one going to make a mod like this? They will need to plan out how it will work and how real its going to be?

In Japan the Fire department are mostly run by local largest city in the area. They could have budget problems too. Even that they have the main city budget and plus the bugets from the the near by towns and villages. At a stations you can see the a wide range of trucks and models at different ages. So customization could happen. Like some times the lonely village station would have the oldest fire truck ever saw... So Japan also really have no big national system and funding comes mostly from the local area. They also do have the system where other fire departments could goto the other areas to help out other cities too.

Agree... It took a local small city fire department many years to replace a Tower Truck that was built in 1983. Not all small city, county, and township's have the budgets for new equipment. I bet there a Truck from the 60s running at some department.

Volunteer fire department are small... Be hard to find a big one to make a mod... EM Mods are mostly work well with big cities departments. Volunteer fire departments range in equipment and units... Maybe hard to keep every one happy what they want.

All the Newer Engines and Trucks are at Station 1 the HQ. All the substations has the old late 80s Engines. Its a small city Fire Department.

Thanks, They will get better later. Sorry, I like to be the one to make the stations... Since I been to them before in real life. I know how they are design also. Plus I suck in making vehicle models. I maybe will make the skin for the stations... also... -
Tokyo Mod Fire Station Vote!
Commander Rasseru replied to Commander Rasseru's topic in Modding Related Support
Using some designs off of Japanese Fire Stations and some of the Votes. I design these two stations. Layouts Models... This fire station here can carry about 2 Normal Engines, 2 Ambulances, and 1 Large Engine or Ladder. This was a little too simple... maybe I will upgrade it. But this is a 2 parking garage. If you think we should have any kind of other station models. Let us know. Still vote and maybe add a post. -

I would say.... New Zealand.... but the City? hmmm would it be Nelson? or the other city Blenheim? If its Marlborough then its from Blenheim City... -
In the "Tokyo Mod" we are going to have our very own Fire Station in Freeplay mode. Don't know when its going to be in the mod. But so far I'm designing the station. If any one has an idea? It must be a idea that is currently used by a Japanese Fire Department. Also having a picture of what your idea. Will also help us understand. The Votes and Ideas would be review over. To see if we can use or add them. Feel free to talk about this topic also. Medium Fire Station Small Fire Station Large Station in a major city.

Hazmat Suit Changing...

Thats what I was talking about... would a script work? I don't know because I'm not a scripter... -
Yeah, Alot of modelers also make the box shape engines first because its easier... Some of them just copy Models from other mods.
-
This maybe a dumb question... Can you get a normal Fireman to change into a Hazmat suit during a game? Like in the LA mod where normal Fireman changes to Masked Fireman. Will this work with hardly any bugs or is it bad to script this?

Don't the Firemen stabilze already? A Police Officer with some paramedic skills would only cost more to buy. -

Sorry Stan, I think? I know what your saying and yet I don't... Please clear it up a bit... Maybe its best if I tell the Scale Size I have? -
I'm working on vehicle models for my mod. Some of my Engines have different scale sizes. So I can't make it to the Normal EM Engine size. I think? I'm looking for a good way to find out what so call real life scales the EM engines. Becaue with my engines I know the real life scale to then.... If no one know what so call scale size is? What are the EM Engines based of in real life so I can find their scales... I need to know... Its height Its width Its length Other words its X,Y,Z.... I know in other mods they had to figue out this scale problem also. If any one has any helpful tips let me know...

I say, If some people have another idea that can't be done or doesn't want to be used... Then they should make their own Mod.
