Would it be possible to have the original FDNY alarm ("ding ding, engine, ladder, battalion") signal when you press the alarm on the firehouse control?

sweeeeet , nice work guys, I love the detailed approach, everything is in the good place and format (my favourite is that the BC's bunker jacket is not zipped - EPIC) can you give me some details of your hardware? Just for me, so I maybe buy some extra recources to my PC run this mod... I currently have Intel Dual Core E5700 2GB DDR 3 RAM GFROCE 9800 gt graphic card Thanks...

Well, I do not have Win 7 on my machine at the moment, because EM4 was not runnig on it properly. I can only play on XP. When I tried it on Win 7 it simply did not load, a black command window appeared then disappeared and basically that's it. I tried unistalling, reinstalling, run it as admin, refresh graphic and motherboard drivers, etc. I feel I tried everything, have not you all had issues with win 7 - EM4? is it just me? Simply brilliant

Nice screenshot, keep us posted

Haha , good one! I agree with you, sometimes the game can be overwhelming, the best is when around fires, cars catch fires and blow away a whole traffic jam . I am interested in the people management as well. As far as I know, that's why they dispatch a BC for every alarm (plus extra for higher alarms), so that one cheif doesn't have to coordinate large amount of people, only that I will not plug in another mouse and keyboard for my friends in case of a 2nd alarm . Probably they will change the dispatch system from 4-2 to (I don't know) 1-1, I think that would be gamewise more realistic. Will see, still can't wait to play with it .

If they introduce different size of hoselines, as they promised, you might be true. Though I still think that visually the line on the firefighter's shoulder will replace normal EM4 hoselines. But like with everything else, I guess, we will need to wait till we can play with it

With all due respect, I think the high-rise packs will only replace the "usual" hoselines. If you order a firefighter to get a hoseline, it will just look like a high-rise pack in every situation. Like they have the screenshot for the "odor of gas", the FFs have high-rise packs, which I think are only normal hoselines, if you want to get attached to a hydrant or engine. Putting out high rise fires, I think it will be similar to previous EM4 scenarios, you will be able to enter one level, where you can operate. It will be interesting how FFs will reach a certain floor, because ladders tend not to reach high rise fires , will see

That will be cool , all hands fires without back up or with a huge delay, everyday I am getting more and more excited about this mod

Fair Enough, so I guess the other units are off map (obviously)

They also have the "Tenhouse" or at least their apparatus. I can imagine a Manhattan map, with 2 or max. 3 fire houses, and everything else is off map... We also need to consider, that NY is kind of unique, or at least different in this way, because most of the firehouses are small, with one or two cars. So maybe more smaller ones, e.g.: Rescue 1 has a single home, 100 Duane street is E-7 L-1 and BC-1, tenhouse is E-10 and L-10, these are still not much apparatus on the map comparing to other mods...

Hi Guys, I am big fan of firefighting and EM4. This mod just looks great, keep up the good work. I have been following the topic for a couple of months, but have not registered, now I could not resist. I know it is too early to say anything, but I think it would be cool to have a patch that flies us back to the 70s or sg. A Retro NY Mod. Nothing particular, just new skins (I am not an expert, but I guess it is not high volume of work). Or maybe the spare rig, that you have been talking about, can be sg. vintage. Keep up the brillian work!
