This would've been a PM, but your inbox is closed.

1. If you have photoshop, you could use that with the DDS Plugin. Try converting to a bitmap (bmp). 2. AFAIK you can't change the time for the plane, it's hard coded into the game.

billyfromhill, My first post and prior post actually say i have a Dozer Tender completed It's not a perfect representation, but for the moment, It will do. As for personnel, that is something I'm working on for a few of the units.
-
I've updated the initial post and will continue to do so with news, and new screenshots. In essence: All units I've marked as completed are currently in game, and functioning as they should with no bugs or anything i could find. I've started some scripting for the Div3 Chief as so he can call the BC and some other units. I am going to be looking into getting a dozer transporter modelled along with a few other things, as i'm not much of a modeller if someone would have the time to donate to do this i would be very appreciative, I'm going to be learning modelling (rather slowly at that though). Thanks! Any questions feel free to reply, email or PM.

I dearly apologise for the lack of updates, But I've just been busy lately with work and college It's all about priorities... But, with the mod: I've been working on a few of the units in the first post, and porting the work that was done from 1.9 to 2.x. I'll be putting up some video/screenshots later of what's been done. I know it's a big call, but If there is someone here that wants to take over the primary development of the submod then let me know as I don't want what's been done so far to go to waste. I'll still be contributing to the development of the submod, but someone might be able to work on it at a much faster pace. Thanks

Sounds great, I've just played the mod for the first time and i enjoyed it. While there is a small number of vehicles, and the occasional bug here and there it's great. I noticed i received a script error when i tried to set off a car bomb in freeplay, Though i never saved the details. But i will see if i can get it from the log and post it up Edit: One more thing, The Ambulances and vehicles you have in the first post, are they representative of a unreleased mod update or the current mod version(downloaded from your website)?

Hey Guys, I think i might know a few of you from another Australian Firefighting Forum. But, I've got basis for an Australian mod, it's just really about having to get into it and get things done really with Modelling and Skinning.
-
Hey, If you need a hand in the project, let me know. I'd be interested in doing an Australian style mod with you. Thanks

Civil Cars Cooperation (Available for download)
andrew2007 replied to skaihof's topic in Development Resources
Wow :O Very nice work, and a large collection of cars. I'll be keeping tabs on the topic, watching the progress. Keep up the good work -
Shane explains this a few pages back i believe, But he said that He will be Making it Compatible and making a few overall changes i believe. if you want specifics, just search for it in the thread would be best

In all essence, we need some sort of script or logfile to help us help you and tell you what's wrong.
-
Reason for that is, When you install PRL it overwrites the unit prototype files which hold the information about commands, etc.
-
It helps if you post a log file, etc and explain in further detail the issue. It may appear that your mod files are corrupt, or you haven't installed all of the map files correctly (map, map base, etc)

Increasing the amount of traffic
andrew2007 replied to BritishArmyReserveCadets's topic in Alteration Help
I just had to chuckle about your thread, your contradicting yourself there. Saying you want it to be realistic by increasing traffic to increase response time, and you mention about using aviation units to respond to any incident - these specialized units don't respond to any call, or emergency, they are often used for critical incidents and events where aerial assistance is needed or time is a priority, e.g robbery, stolen vehicle, spinal injury, etc. The values set by default i find are fine, as traffic fluctuates throughout the day, and the vehicles themselves have speeds set on them to try and recreate a realistic response time. If you find you're getting traffic jams, you will need to lower the amount, or if you know how, add further spawn points in to attempt to resolve any issues you may get at traffic spawn. -
Let me know what your able to do

No, I'm not dead, but just been rather stressed lately with work. The pressures of life. I'm still rather ****** annoyed because i'm getting errors where there shouldn't be with some units and trying to bring them into the game :| But never the less, all part of the package. What i can do, Is release what i have done so far for those who want it. Then maybe if anyone else is interested, start a collaboration project, but yeah. (not giving up on the project, just thinking i can open it to more people)

I've been trying to work on something like this myself, it's getting there... I can post up what i've done so far if people wish
-
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but in a few cases the Police Dog has gone astray and the handler can't control the dog anymore - yet the dog doesn't show on the map or has any visible signs to allow it to be found (via a blip or anything, well at least not in my case.) Anyway this can be stopped?

I think it's due to the DummyMotorboatCheck command possibly.. As it's checking the motorboat not the raft, it's much like the tiller script. You might have to clone the tiller scripts and modify them.
-
I think what he might be trying to say, is have you referenced the correct prototypes/models for the boat in any edited scripts or prototype files.
-
I don't think it does considering V2 was only released today/tonight and that Shane's been very busy himself.
-
Hoppah, Thanks a lot for all the work you've put in to release something that's not only Free, but enjoyable too! I appreciate it, and i am sure that the many many members here do too. Thanks once again, i look forward to playing it. Merry Christmas, and a happy new year! You deserve it

Nice work Hppah, well done on the next installment of the LA Mod. It'll surely be something nice to play when it's released.

If you would of taken the time to read the very first post in this topic you'd see what else there'd be. Yeah they do, But i'm not the best modeler so i'm basing it off the older model. Update: Currently I'm working on finalising the Division Chief script, Utility Van and SU2.

I've noticed EM4 running better on it than Vista, aswell as general system performance being up. I quite like Win 7, something new and rather well done. Kudos to Microsoft for not making it such a Flop!
